This memory was my souvenir. hi guys welcome back to my channel my name is daisy if you're new here and if you're not hi welcome back for today's video as you guys heard by the title i am traveling to korea not only am i traveling to korea i'm kind of acting as a tour guide not only for you but also for my boyfriend who i'm bringing along just in a single day we traveled to three different major areas of seoul missed my what i eat in a day video so i hope you guys like it so without further ado let's go to korea currently obsessed with this character from tamakachi oh my god they have little keychains too on this day we visited hongdae to do some shopping and to just eat around and hongdae is one of those spots that's really quick with trends so if you see a snack on tiktok hongdae is the place to go if you want to find that oh these are so cute this one's really cute too the streets here are filled with the cutest little shops so you can really never get bored in hongdae currently in seoul a lot of gen z's are obsessed with hay tea bubble teas and guys it was actually worth the hype it was really good then afterwards we walked over to yeonnam-dong and i brought my boyfriend to my all-time favorite restaurant called just tendong On this trip, not only did I want to eat good food, I also wanted to show Owen the trendy eats here in Seoul.
So you guys could definitely check out these spots if you're ever in the city! i wouldn't even be exaggerating if i were to say food is one of the main reasons as to why i come to seoul so much personally the vibes and aesthetics are a huge part of my eating out experience and in korea so many restaurants have the cutest interiors so i can always get the best photos for my instagram feed hi guys good morning good morning guys good morning everyone i'm currently in seoul i am staying at a hotel near hongdae i'm really excited to show you guys what my day looks like today because it's gonna be so exciting and i'll be eating a lot of good food so stay tuned because i know you guys missed my mukbang videos we got this breakfast sandwich from twosome place which is like very similar to like a starbucks in korea it's like everywhere i just finished having my meeting with the team and now we're gonna head out to yeouido the hangang i have a yoga reservation for owen and i for 2 p.m it's currently 12 30 but we want to get there early and get something to eat before because we're still kind of hungry this is the outfit that i have chosen very fall vibes today i think it'll match like the vibes of the hong kong event that we're going to it's so cute i'm gonna top it off with a let me show you guys our room because the view is insane up here look at how huge the bathroom is i'm gonna be filming a get ready with me two tvs one right here and you can see the hangang from here there's a lot of autumn festivals and events going on over there so we're gonna go check it out this is crazy you should try these these used to be super trendy in korea oh my god that's the thing that i wanted you to try we're currently on our way to the hyundai seoul mall to grab a lunch before our yoga reservation that is actually where we had our first date and now we're back this mall is actually one of the biggest department stores in korea there's a really good thai restaurant down there and they always have the cool papa stores happening so it's fun to browse around so they have these little containers and you just fill it up with the flavors that you want and guys the food is literally so crazy here it's one of those places where you just come to look around and suddenly it's three hours later we got four of the yubu chobabs and this chinese plate for lunch it's just so fun to walk around this mall because they always give out like free testers too to just like try out different korean dishes the location of the mall is also super convenient it's only about a 10-minute walk to hangang and the streets here are full of cute cafes and we even spotted the namsan tower from outside so it's perfect for a little shopping plus cafe plus river day one as soon as i got here they handed these flyers over to me to order chicken the weather was perfect in seoul this day and it felt even prettier because yeouido hangang is so full of nature a lot of korean couples come here for dates especially in the evening so you can grab food nearby bring chicken or tteokbokki guys look at how many people there are you can also rent mats so you can sit on the grass like a local and there are even convenience stores in the boat on the water is that not crazy?
Literally the cutest River Day vibe.
After walking around for like 40 minutes, I finally found the yoga group.
I recently started doing yoga again back home, So when I found out they offer a silent yoga experience here at Yeouido Hangang, I knew I had to try it.
This is such a relaxing experience.
It's actually a really smart setup.
You basically just wear wireless headphones and through them you can clearly hear the instructor's voice plus really calming music, so you're not distracted by the people at the park or city noise.
Because of that, you can focus so much more on your breathing, posture and flow, and for me it was a perfect contrast to Seoul's busy energy.
It genuinely helped me rest and relax and i feel like anyone visiting the river should try it at least once.
It's such a unique way to enjoy the hangang and take care of yourself at the same time.
I'm gonna get my favorite ramen as a snack you cook it in the ramen and i'll also get some soup.
Every time i come here, i always get ramen by the water.
It just hits different at hangang and it's an experience i really hope you guys try.
Good job, owen.
We rented this mat.
We're just chilling until our hot air balloon reservation time.
But, to be honest, as the sun was fading, it was starting to get a bit chilly, so we went to go get chicken for dinner.
Guys, when you guys come to Hangang, you need to go to a chicken store.
I love BHC chicken and they have one right here in Yeouido.
Cheers.
These are the cheese balls and yangnyeom from chicken.
This is like a drug biting down into.
The freshly fried chicken tasted so heavenly and owen says this was his favorite meal in korea.
So i hope you guys also try out eating chicken on a hangang day to really experience the charm of a k picnic.
After we ate, we walked over to another part of the park to ride the iconic seoldal hot air balloon, and that stands for seoul moon.
We're a bit late and we're trying to rush over.
Look at how big it is, whoa.
I think this hot air balloon is a really great way to end your day and see the city during sunset glow hour.
I think it's a really cute date spot.
You can do this and then go to a restaurant afterwards once the sun fully sets.
It's located right in the center of Seoul, so very accessible.
This was our very first time trying the hot air balloon, but some of my friends told us to go during golden hour for the best view of the city, so of course we had to.
The timing was perfect and the skyline looked so unreal hold the bar, i'm nervous And it was finally time to go 130 meters up into the sky.
My nerves also came down when we started going up.
And that's when I actually realized I was having fun with it.
But, to be truthful, it was still scary at times if you're coming with your boyfriend or girlfriend or even a bestie date.
This is such a cute spot to get photos of seoul in the background.
We went up around 4 30 pm and it was perfect for golden hour.
The lighting was so soft and the whole city was glowing and i'll say it's a must try to fully take in the city of seoul.
And if you guys would like any additional information on this whole dial activity, you guys can just simply search it up on google and you'll find a lot of information there about the prices and the opening hours and much more.
We came back to the Hyundai Mall and we're gonna be eating dinner here because we don't want to wait in a long line at any of the hot place restaurants.
It literally took us like 15 minutes to find a table, so maybe we should've just went to a restaurant.
We got two classic burgers.
This dip is so good.
This place is like amazing.
It was a long day Late night snack.
This is our first Korean barbecue and I'm so excited Korean barbecue is so expensive in New York.
This is the end of the video.
I hope you guys enjoyed following me around in Seoul.
Thank you so much to the event organizers for having us.
We had a lot of fun this weekend.
And we are gonna be flying back to New York for Halloweekend.
So stay tuned for that.
Hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you guys next week.
Bye bye!
