Carry out your pencils and a fresh sheet of parchment, for Tinker Class is about to begin.
Welcome back to Tinker Class, our crash course in Science.
Fun 101 for the science seekers and inventoritos of tomorrow.
It's day four of week two, so if you're just joining us for the first time, hit subscribe.
Pause and go back and listen to the first three episodes of this week.
Don't worry, we'll still be here when you finish.
This week, we're using inspiration from our Wow in the World episode, Rat Race.
On day one, we had you listen to this episode while jotting down any thoughts, ideas and questions that came to mind.
On day two we had you explore the materials you found around your home that could be used for building a car for your favorite stuffed animal.
Yesterday, we created our cars and began testing them on our test tracks.
And today it's time to improve on our model, using what we learned from yesterday's testing trials, and then test one more time.
Using data or information you collected from yesterday's test.
It's time to revisit your design plan.
Look for ways that you can improve it.
It might help if you draw your improvement ideas on a piece of paper.
And once you feel good with your improvement ideas, you'll want to use them to modify or rebuild your car.
Retest and record your observations on Model 2.0.
When you're finished, share your findings with us.
You can leave us a message on our WOW hotline at 1-888-7-WOW-WOW.
And be sure to tell us what you used to build your car and what you discovered when you ran it on the test track.
We may just play your message on tomorrow's final day of Tinker Class Week 2.
Once again, our phone number is 1-888-7WOWW.
You can also share pictures and videos of your model car with us at Tinkercast.com slash share.
And don't forget to meet us right back here tomorrow.
Thanks for tinkering with us.
Now go forth and keep on wowing.
And before you go, tell us about yourself by filling out a short survey at wondery.com slash survey.
