Are mosquitoes good for anything?
Thanks for asking. We've all lost our temper at least once after trying to swat away the same mosquito for the 10th time on an otherwise lovely summer evening especially when you know you're going to be spending the following days scratching away the resulting bites.
The Telegraph says that Great Britain is home to 36 kinds of mosquito with Coliceta annulata and Culex pipiens being among the most common. Why do mosquitoes bite us?
