He posits that "latent capacity" on the grid can be unlocked through "time-shifting electricity" using batteries and software.

While he acknowledges the potential of nuclear energy, he remains skeptical of its current economic viability due to high capital expenditures and systemic delays. Instead, he believes the "next five decades of energy are going to be defined by solar and storage."
