First up, one of the most popular animated films of the past few years is back with a brand new caper.
It's The Bad Guys 2.
Yes.
Based on the best-selling graphic novel by Aussie author Aaron Blaby.
This gang of animal crooks turned heroes are trying to settle into life as good guys.
Mmm.
But just when things calm down, they're pulled out of retirement for one last big job.
And if that's not tough enough, they're up against an all-female squad of criminals who are just as clever and sneaky.
It's packed with action and comedy.
I love that one.
It's great for the six-plus crowd who can handle fast-moving fun and a little bit of cartoon mischief.
Let's have a quick listen.
Things sure have changed.

Now for something a little different a spooky, silly adventure that takes you right inside a zoo at midnight.
Cool.
It's called Night of the Zoopocalypse.
A meteor crashes into a zoo, turning the animals into, get this, zombies.
Yep, zombie zoo animals.
Oh, but don't worry, this isn't nightmare fuel.
It's a comedy horror toned down for kids.
A wolf and a mountain lion team up with other survivors to save the zoo, stop the mutant leader and prove that teamwork can beat even the weirdest virus.
I do love a mutant leader.
Now, parents, think of this as a gentle first step into scary movies.
It's just spooky enough to thrill, but it's still packed with laughs.
Probably best for ages seven and up, especially kids who love a little bit of Halloween fun.
Ah, a convenient plot device, eh?

A monster movie.
Oh, yeah, because that makes much more sense.

Yep, we've buzzed through the first couple of films.

Next up is one for the younger Squeeze Kids out there, especially if you love cats, colour and a touch of magic.
Do you know what I'm talking about, Christy?
I think I might.
It's Gabby's Dollhouse, the movie.
Yep.
Gabby and her grandma Gigi set off on a road trip to Cat Francisco.
Mm-hmm.
But when a quirky, slash evil cat lady swipes Gabby's beloved dollhouse, she and the Gabby cats have to work together to get it back.
They sure do.
And just in case you've never had the pleasure, Gabby's Dollhouse is a Netflix show where real-life Gabby shrinks down into her dollhouse, which transforms into an animated world full of quirky cat friends, each with their own special talents.
Yeah, it's pretty great.
And if you love colour, musical shows like Bluey or Trolls, then this one's a winner.
It's perfect for preschoolers and early primary, say ages three to seven, but older siblings might still get a kick out of the songs and the silliness.
We're taking a trip to spend the week with my grandma.
Buckle up, Gabby Katz, it's time to go.

Yep, it's called Kangaroo.
An out-of-work ex-TV personality becomes stranded in a small town outside of Alice Springs.
There, he meets Charlie, a 12-year-old Indigenous girl.
Together, they form a surprising friendship as they rescue and raise orphaned joeys.
Oh, and even better, it's inspired by the real work of the Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs.
Yes, it is.
So you can expect some stunning landscapes, adorable animals and a story that's both funny and heartwarming.
And yes, it's not often that you hear the phrase poo milkshake in a movie.
But don't let that put you off.
This one is packed with laughs, heart and an important message about community and caring for animals.
It's a perfect family choice for ages eight and up and really anyone who loved movies like Storm Boy or Red Dog.
