This week is Space Week and we have a galaxy full of activities inspired by our Wow in the World episode.
Hey Mars, Put a Ring on It.
If you missed it, you can listen to yesterday's episode for an encore.
Yesterday, we learned about the Stickney Crater.
A five and a half mile wide crater on Mars's moon, Phobos.
And today, we're going to make some craters of our own.
But first, here's Dennis with today's camp weather forecast.
Dennis, what's the weather in the great outdoors?

Okay, time for today's Camp Wee Wow weather forecast.
So far this morning, sunny.
But then, mid-morning, it looks like it will be sunny.
Late morning...
Also sunny.
Then more sun, more sun, and more and more sun, which will then shift to partly sunny.
Uh-huh.
But then quickly step back to regular old sunny.
Now, while the late afternoon will be sunny, the early evening will be even more sunny.
However, that works.
What?
Dennis!
Then the sun will continue shining as we go into the late evening, followed by... Okay!

It's Space Week here at Camp WeWow, and we have an activity for you that we call Crater Creator.
Does anyone remember how craters are formed?
Yeah.
That's right, Reg.
Craters are formed when asteroids or other pieces of space rock hit a planet or moon.
So today, I'm going to show you how to make your own crater-covered moon.
Oh, yeah.
Show us, Skyrosmos of the cosmos.
Well, I have a cake pan with some flour in it and a few small rocks.
And I'll just drop in one rock at a time.
I'll take them out.
Five, four, three, two, one.
And ta-da!
It looks like a moon with craters.
Right?
Do you want to give it a try, Mindy?
You know I do.

Today i misplaced my bathing pajamas and i don't think i have a backup.
Mindy says it'll be fine, but i definitely think it will not be fine.
Well, that just about does it for today's Camp Wee, Wow.
But before we go, here's a quick refresher on today's project, Crater Creator.
You can try this on your own.
Just fill a cake pan halfway with flour, and then drop a few small rocks one by one.
Remove the rocks, and Elvis presto, you've got a moon full of craters.
And just a reminder, don't try this with boulders.
Unless you have a license to operate heavy machinery.
