The expressway is an important artery, connecting Beijing and the Xiong An new area.
At present, a total of 108 kilometers connectors of autonomous driving lanes have been designated on the main line of the expressway with intelligent perception and communication equipment installed to monitor its operation.
Zhang Hongjun, chief engineer at Hebei Expressway Group, said that the launch of the autonomous driving test is an active attempt to explore the development of smart expressways in the Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei region.
Jang added that this project is aimed not only at supporting the field test of autonomous driving on expressways, but also at exploring the new operation and management modes of pressways supported by the smart technology.
Southern China's Hainan Island has recently become a hotspot for air sports enthusiasts breasts, as skydiving has surged in popularity among Chinese sports fans.
Shanghai -based Chen Ya Jun, a newcomer to the sport, has already skydived in Hainan four times.
The first three experiences were from a helicopter, but this time she chose a fixed -wing aircraft.
Sheng noted that it's an incredible feeling to jump from a plane.
Not only can the skydiver see the world from a different perspective, but also experience a profound sense of freedom.
In recent years, air sports have gained significant traction in China, particularly in Hainan, where sports tourism is thriving.
Last year, Hainan led the nation in skydiving activity with 4 ,200 flight hours, 10 ,700 take -offs ships and landings, and 45 ,300 trips by tourists, all accounting for more than one -third of the national totals.
According to Shu Liwan, Secretary -General of the Hainan Air Sports Association, the supports, Hainan's warm climate supports more than 340 flying days annually.
Popular air sports, such as paragliding, skydiving, and drone racing are flourishing on the island.
Local government policies also play a significant role.
Ma Tsao, a researcher at Hainan Normal University, said that in recent years Hainan has deepened the reform of low altitude airspace management, creating a favorable policy environment for air sports.
The benefits of the Hainan free trade port system, including visa free travel for tourists costs from 59 countries and regions, and zero tariffs for imported goods such as aircraft have also been influential.
During this year's two sessions, the low -altitude economy was included in the government work report for the first time, highlighting Air Sports as a driver of consumption and local economic transformation.
Air Sports break the limitations of land -based sightseeing, offering tourists a new aerial perspective of the landscape.
This unique experience will open up New Havanews for the Tourism Industry.
Shu Li -wen, Secretary General of the Hainan Air Sports Association, expects an era of mutual promotion of Air Sports and the local team from China's Shanghai Jiaotong University, has developed a six -legged guide robot for visually impaired people that is expected to address the country's shortage of real guide dogs.
According to the China Association of Persons with Visual Disabilities, there are more than There are 19 million visually impaired people in China, creating a dire need for the guiding service.
As a strong backup for real guide dogs, the guide robot can accurately recognize the speech of blind people and respond in less than one second, walking at a maximum speed of 3 meters meters per second while maintaining a stable walking state with little noise.
According to Professor Gao Feng, from the School of Mechanical Engineering who led the development team, the robot has visual environmental perception capabilities, allowing it to autonomously navigate to its destination, dynamically avoid obstacles, and recognize traffic lights.
Moreover, with the support of the Internet, it can also serve as a home companion and an emergency responder for blind people.
Gao noted that the primary task of the Guide Robot is to establish effective communication with blind individuals, to enable the robot to understand the user's intentions while maintaining coordinated movements.
to achieve these goals, the robot adopts a multi -sensory perception system of seeing, hearing, asking and touching.
It combines natural language comprehension and speech recognition, along with force feedback canes to enable users to control the robot.
Chen Zhijun, an assistant researcher at the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, noted that most robotic dogs on the market adopt a four -legged design.
With legs moving in pairs, they need to continuously step to maintain balance.
The newly developed model features six legs operating with three legs at a time.
It consistently forms a stable triangular base enabling it to stand securely without requiring continuous movement to maintain balance.
last month during a field test in Shanghai, 41 -year -old Li Fei experienced the guide dog, which demonstrated fluid movements such as advancing, stopping, and turning and reacting instantaneously to nearby pedestrians and obstacles.
For Lee, walking just a hundred metres, with the robotic guide dog, was an incredible experience.
With its assistance, Lee said that her path was straighter, and, as someone who is blind, she cannot walk in a straight line on her own.
Professor Gao Feng said that they had received orders for 20 units and believes that the six -legged robot will soon be ready for the market.

A cluster of rock paintings from more than 3 ,000 years ago have been discovered in northwest China's Qinghai Province.
Located in Gui Nan County, the rock paintings were found, scattered and engraved, on a local mountain.
These ancient artworks cover an area of around 1 ,000 square meters.
Archaeologists Chen Hurong said that these rock paintings were likely created by ancient people to document their everyday activities.
Chen also clarified side, that they were produced during the Bronze Age.
Wang Jansun, the lead archaeologist on the project, said that these discovered rock paintings shed light on the early human activities in the area.
Although some of the engraved patterns on rock appeared to be weathered more than ten in animal drawings are still very clear.
Some of these animals are long -necked and four -legged with clear features such as horns belonging to animals like sheep.
Archaeologist Chew Foo Linn noted that instead of sheep, these animals are more likely to be yaks or deer, later, as similar designs have previously been found on cliffs in the province.
In 2021, a total of 191 rock paintings were discovered in Qinghai Province, including animal designs such as deer and human figures, archaeologists discovered that this batch of rock paintings depicted the migration trajectory of ancient people in the area.
Back in 2018, another 609 rock paintings from 2 ,000 years ago were also discovered in Qinghai.
Chiu emphasized that Qinghai province is known as the prolific home of petroglyphs.
Some of these rock artworks have already been identified as belonging to the ancient Chiang ethnic people.
The latest rock art cluster was discovered during the Fourth National Survey of Cultural relics that started last November.
The national survey is dedicated to examining the conservation efforts and conditions of immovable cultural relics across the country.
The survey, which is due to be completed in June 2026, aims to gather information on the locations, categories, as well as protection levels, and preservation circumstances of immovable cultural relics across the country.

Well, now, I'm going to talk about something that may make you a walking piece of art.
And it is not perfume, but a perfume -like scented sachet around the Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on June the 10th this year.
Children in China usually wear scented sachets, threaded with five color silk strings, to ward off evil.
A scented sachet is an ornament worn on the front of a garment containing various kinds of herbs.
It is usually wrapped in a silk cloth, and sometimes embroidered with exquisite patterns.
Multicolour silk threads are attached to the sachet as decorative tassels.
Well, in ancient China, the small, decorative sachet was more than an accessory.
It was also a life -saver at that time.
Firstly, it was a token to show respect to the elderly.
Early around 500 BC in China, children would pay a visit to their parents, both in the morning and in the evening, every day to wish them good health.
During their visits they had to wear scented sachets to show respect.
Later on, officials going to report to an emperor would choose to wear scented sachets to show their respect and loyalty.
Parents would blame their children if they broke the etiquette, and emperors could well have killed anybody who disrespected the tradition.
So, in these cases, scented sachets could win over parents, convey favour, and even save one's life.
Secondly, to prevent diseases.
Scented sachets contain traditional Chinese herbal medicine.
They help to promote the production of antibodies, to give better immunity to the body, and produce incidences of upper respiratory tract infections.
Placed in the pocket or under the pillow, it was believed they could help, to a certain The scented sachet were usually made into different shapes, for example, squares, circles, ellipses, perhaps the shape of a pomegranate or a peach and so on.
There were holes in the middle to give out scent continuously and, even today, there There are sachets that are decorated with jade carvings and sequined beads.
The third function of a scented sachet is a token of love's promise.
If a man sees a woman wearing a scented sachet, he'd better look elsewhere, she's committed.
It's just like the message that a wedding ring sends out.
Then, the fourth use, to scare away insects and evil.
People living in ancient times didn't have mosquito repellent.
They used scented sashays to repel mosquitoes during the hot summers.
Those who lived in mountainous areas would put a special content in the sachet, Xion -huang, which was said to keep snakes away.
Xiong Huang, also known as rialgar, is a yellow -orange arsenic sulfide mineral.
It was also a common antidote against poison in Ancient Asia.
That is why, even today, when celebrating the Duangwu Festival, or the Dragon Boat Festival, In some areas, people still keep the tradition of making a kind of beverage, dosed with powdered rialgar.
Today scented sachets are often used in cupboards or drawers, to fragrance clothing, or left in an enclosed space to create a better environment.
around the time of the Dragon Boat Festival, in early summer, which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese lunar calendar, children wear scented sachets for their parents' blessings for good health and a better future.
