Today's expression, like I said, number 1140 is that should be a crime.
That should be a crime.
This is a great expression.
If we say that should be a crime, what it means is you did something or somebody did something, or somebody said something.
That is terrible, that is wrong, that is just not right.
Actually...
It is not a crime.
A crime C-R-I-M-E.
A crime is something illegal like stealing money from a bank or killing somebody.
Those are crimes.
But sometimes we see things in our daily life that that actually are not a crime.
But you might think that what you see is so wrong it should be a crime.
I have an excellent example in the dialogue.
I want you to check it out.
All right, Pineapple on pizza.
Yes, sir.
I wanted durian, but they didn't have it.
What?
Fruit on pizza?
Yeah.
You got a problem with that?
That should be a crime.
Yeah, I'm sorry.
Fruit on pizza. is wrong to me.
That's just my opinion.
And I know you might disagree.
That's fine.
We can have different opinions, but I really believe that fruits on pizza is not only wrong.
It should be a crime.
If somebody puts fruit on a pizza, they should go to jail.
I know it's really strong.
It's really strong.
But sometimes we have strong opinions, right?
Another example, I like tea.
I'm a coffee guy, but I do like tea.
And I like black tea.
And when I see people adding milk to tea, I'm shocked.
That should be a crime.
Now, you might see me drinking coffee, black coffee, and you might see me adding sugar to my coffee.
No.
Adding salt to my coffee.
Yes.
Yes.
I add, when I have black coffee, I add salt.
Salt.
Do you think that's a crime?
Yeah.
Another example, when I go to the supermarket and, you know, they have the shopping carts, right?
And you can take the shopping cart and move it around.
People who do not put the shopping cart back where it's supposed to be, that should be a crime.
That should be a crime.
What's wrong with those people?
It's not you, right?
You're not like that.
This is a great expression.
When you see something, when somebody says something, and you think it's so wrong.
It's like really, really wrong.
How wrong might you think it is?
It should be a crime.
It's a great expression.
That should be a crime.
