I mean, until I die or coach dies or you die, you know, it's really sad.
You are aware of that, right?
Pronunciation is so important.
I want you to sound good.
And by the way, your pronunciation does not have to be perfect, and you can have an accent, but your pronunciation needs to be clear.
If your pronunciation is clear, you sound smart.
And I know you're smart.
You're listening to this podcast.
So consider joining one of our courses.
They're very inexpensive.
We have a huge range in courses, like from $8...

We have so much.
There's so much for an extremely low price, $80 a year.
You can just sign up for $8 a month.
You still get tons of benefits, but the $80 a year is a great deal.
So if you're interested in that, in my community, just type 80.

All right?

Enjoy E-Cube number 488.
Let's go back in time.
Okay, today's expression, really good.
It's about me.
It is bursting at the seams.
Bursting at the seams.
B-U-R-S-T.
Burst.
I-N-G. Bursting at the seams.
S-E-A-M-S. Bursting at the seams.
So when we say the word seams, S-E-A-M-S, we need to be thinking about clothing, like a shirt or pants, your trousers.
So think about my shirt.
Now I have a shirt and pants.
And it has, you know, two arms.
And if you look at the arms, actually, there's a line where they sew, S-E-W, where they sew the cloth together.
That is a scene.
That's a scene.
So a typical T-shirt is like two pieces of cloth.
Sewn together.
And then they add more cloth for the arms.
This is a typical t-shirt.
Same thing with pants.
If you look at your pants on your leg, on the left side and the right side, there's a seam.
Where they actually sewed the pants together.
Okay, so that's a seam.
So to burst, B-U-R-S-T, means to rip, to rip the seams, to expand, and it's like explode the seams.
So I know many of you have never seen me in person.
You only listen to my voice.
And well, if you listen to my voice, you can probably notice that I am a man and I'm a big man.
I'm a
I can lift a lot of weight.
In kilograms, if I'm laying down and I lift in kilograms, I can lift about 140 kilograms.
So my muscles in my arms are very, very large.
Very large.
Should I show you?
You might be able to hear.
Let me make a muscle here.
Oh, no.
I just ripped my t-shirt.
My muscles are so big, I burst the seams of my t-shirt.
Oh, man.
Okay, you guys are going to have to send me some money so I can buy more clothes.
I need to buy bigger clothes.
I'm bursting at the seams.
My muscles are so huge that whenever I make a muscle...
I rip my shirts.
My pants, too.
Yeah, it's true.
And here is another usage.
And yeah, this one might be more like me.
Check it out.
Did you like it?
Oh, that was the best spaghetti ever.
You want a bit more?
Oh no, I'm already bursting at the seams.
Yeah.
When I eat, I tend to eat like a pig.
I eat a lot.
And generally, I'm not that fat.
I'm kind of skinny, actually.
Not super skinny, but kind of skinny.
But when I eat, I eat a lot, like a horse or a pig.
And my stomach...
It gets just huge.
My stomach expands.
I look almost like a pregnant woman.
And my pants, they do rip.
Almost.
They almost rip.
I'm bursting at the seams.
This expression means I am full.
I'm so full.
I'm bursting at the seams.
Oh, the meal was delicious.
I'm bursting at the seams.
When you go to the clothing store to buy a shirt or a pair of pants and you try them on, you can say, Oh my God, I'm bursting at the seams.
The shirt or the pants are too tight.
Or if you're like me with huge muscles, when you make a muscle...
Yeah, I tend to burst at the seams.
Believe it or not.
It's a great expression.
And even if you're really skinny, even if your shirts and your pants fit properly, even if you're not muscular, you can still use this great expression.
And you eat and eat and eat, and you're very, very full, you can say, oh, that was delicious.
I'm bursting at the seams.
I'm super full.
It's a great expression.
So I want you guys to use it.
Use it today.
Eat something delicious.
Yeah.
And send me money for my T-shirt, please.
Thanks a lot.
All right.
Let's go ahead and check out the dialogue.
More times.
Did you like it?
Oh, that was the best spaghetti ever.
You want a bit more?
Oh no, I'm already bursting at the seams.
Did you like it?
Oh, that was the best spaghetti ever.
You want a bit more?
Oh no, I'm already bursting at the seams.
Thanks so much for listening.
