Hello little explorer.
Did you go exploring today?
Did you discover anything new?
Being a little explorer means we're always on the hunt for new experiences.
So what did you find today?
Tonight, we're going somewhere very special.
Before you go to sleep, we have a new adventure to go on and new friends to meet.
Are you ready?
Do you remember what we need to do first, little explorer?
That's right.
Before we do anything, we always connect with our breath.
That's because, to be a brave little explorer in this world, we need to know how to slow our breath down and calm our mind and body.
It's one of our superpowers, isn't it?
So, shall we try that now?
Here we go.
We're going to do something we call the bumblebee breath.
Start by taking a big deep breath in for the count of four.
One, two, three, four, And then when you breathe out, make a gentle humming noise, just like a bee.
Let's try it again.
Breathe in.
One, two, three, four.
Breathe out and gently and quietly make a bumblebee hum.
Hmm.
Remember, bees are very small insects, so you don't need to make a loud noise.
Just like a bee.
Hmm.
One more time.
In one, two, three, four.
This noise helps us relax, helps us focus, and helps our bodies and minds calm down.
Great job!
Now that you are calm and relaxed, little explorer, let's go exploring.
Ready?
Sometimes when you're young, you can feel small and not very powerful.
Sometimes as a kid, you may even think that what you have to say isn't important.
But tonight we're going to meet some new friends that show us that little creatures can do big things.
Are you ready?
Great.
First, you need your explorer's backpack to help you.
On the side of your backpack, there's a special button.
And when you push that little button, you shrink right down to be teeny, tiny, small.
As small as an insect.
And the reason we want to be teeny tiny small?
Because of who we're about to meet.
Okay, let's find that special button.
There we are.
Now let's push.
Oh wow, here we are.
We're so tiny that we've come down into the world of bugs.
So who are we going to meet?
Oh, hello there, Miss Ant.
It's so wonderful being this small and seeing you up close.
I can see you have six long legs and you seem to always be in a hurry.
Have you ever noticed ants scurrying around on the ground, little explorer?
They're always busy. always on the go.
That's because they are doing very important work for their big ant community.
There's another really exciting thing to know about Ants Little Explorer.
Even though ants look tiny tiny, small and their legs look super thin, They can actually carry 20 times their own body weight.
That's like you lifting and carrying a horse.
Can you imagine?
We think ants can't be strong because they are so small.
But it's actually because they are small and don't weigh very much that they are able to use all their strength to lift.
And you are just like an ant, little explorer.
You may be small, but in so many ways you are super strong too.
Other people may look at you and only see a little person, but the people who know you and love you understand all the special ways that you are powerful, like being smart and kind and funny and thoughtful.
These are all things that make you strong, even if you are little.
Always remember that.
Even though you're small, you have a big, important role in the world of your family, your friends and all the people who love you.
And that is a super strength.
Well, thank you, my friend, Ant.
You've reminded us tonight that small things can be powerful and important.
Good night, Ant.
Let's get ready to return to our beds now, little explorer.
Press that button on the side of your explorer pack and here we go.
Back to our normal size, landing back into your own bed ready for a great night sleep, waking up in the morning feeling healthy and happy and ready to explore the world again tomorrow.
Good night, little ones, Thank you.
