That's it.
It's going to be a November to remember.
But for now, let's get on with the show.
Woo!
It's Wee Wow Week.
Happy Earth Day, everyone.
Happy Earth Day, Guy Razzi.
Same to you, Mindy.
And since today is Earth Day, no better day to think about this planet and all of the amazing creatures on it.
That's why we've been listening to the podcast Flip and Mosey's Guide to How to Be an Earthling all week long.
And why we're learning about how important it is to take care of our planet Earth and keep it healthy.
And everyone knows that if you want to keep the Earth healthy, you need to flush vitamins and chicken soup down the toilet.
So I have prepared a whole bowl of Grandma G-Force's special recipe chicken noodle.
Hold on, hold on a second there, Mindy.
There are lots of ways to take care of the planet, but flushing something down the toilet is not one of them.
It's not?
No.
In fact, you should try not to flush too often because you don't want to waste water.
Oh, good point.
I'll never flush the toilet again.
What?
No!
But that gives me an idea.
Guy Raz, we should make an instruction manual for the planet Earth.
Ooh, I like this idea.
An instruction manual for anyone new to our planet, like future generations.
Yeah, or babies or space aliens.
For your instruction manual.
You just need some markers, maybe some crayons, colored pencils and some paper or a blank notebook.
Or if you want to make a poster instead, that's okay too.
But you want to make sure to make a list of all the things that can be done to help take care of Earth's environment and all the creatures who live there.
Yeah.
Like the three R's.
Reduce, reuse, and refried beans.
Uh, recycle.
Oh, right.
Those are Grandma G-Force's three R's.
Reduce by buying only what's really needed.
Reuse by using the products as many times as possible.
And recycle by sorting through trash to make sure less waste piles up in landfills.
You can also include instructions on how to care for the wildlife we share our planet with.
This could mean doing something like planting native pollinating plants for birds, butterflies or bees.
The Care and Feeding of Planet Earth, a guide to life on the Big Blue Planet.
And while we're working on these instruction manuals for future generations, let's check out another episode of Flip and Mosey's Guide to How to Be an Earthling.
Thanks for joining us for this special Earth Week edition of WeWow and remember to share any pictures or videos from your WeWow projects with us.
Grown-ups, you can upload pictures and videos to us at tinkercast.com slash share.
And if you've been enjoying Flip and Mosey's guide to how to be an Earthling this week, there's more where that came from.
Be sure to subscribe to their podcast wherever you get your podcasts.
Happy Earth Day to all our fellow Earthlings and space alien visitors.
Looks like the time is snack o'clock.
Time to get myself another cup o' goop from the squeezy munchie machine.
Another one?
What?
Mosey, are you having another cup o' goop?
Yes, I am, Flip.
How many of those have you had today?
Only six.
Six?
Yep.
Then why are you having another one?
Because seven is a prime number?
I suppose I have to respect that.
I can't argue with mathematics.
Uh-oh.
That doesn't sound good.
It appears the Cubbo Goop dispenser has been depleted of its entire inventory.
What does that mean?
You ate it all.
No!
No!
Not my precious, squeezy, munchy machine!
Why you gotta betray me like this?
I thought we had a symbiotic relationship.
You know I can't live without your squeezy, goopy goodness.
Come on, just one more cup.
Please compose yourself, Mosey.
It's likely that this machine is just stuck.
Allow me to assist.
Hey, come on, Flip.
Be gentle with my baby.
I am being careful.
But I'm also applying...
What?
What happened?
Great gab, Larflip.
What have you done?
I may have employed too much force there, Mosey.
The machine is now initiating its reset protocol.
It will be hours before it reboots.
No!
Riding through the solar system, our spaceship hit a rock.
It would only take three thousand years, so we thought we'd look around and learn about this planet from the creatures that we found, and when they speak, they always sing.
So we learn from all the animals.
The machine is disabled, mosey.
It usually works very efficiently.
This is unexpected.
Oh krasnitz, now i have to settle for a different snack while we wait for it to reboot.
Well, i guess i could have blorg niblets instead.
Oh no, you can't do that mosey, Why not?
Because this is also the unit that sells the Blorg Niblets.
You're telling me I can't even get my Blorg Niblets?
Affirmative.
Well, what am I supposed to snack on, Flip?
Perhaps we could find suitable substitute snacks among the Earthlings?
Hmm.
That might not be a bad idea.
Or maybe we could go down to Earth and find snacks there.
Right.
Excellent idea there, Mosey.
Thanks, Flip.
I think better when I'm hungry.
Oh, well, this is a long way to go for a treat, but all of my stomachs want what they want.
Yes, we should be able to get whatever we want by pressing a button.
This is a reasonable expectation.
Am I right?
You are so right, Flip.
Or maybe instead of a button, it's a little ringy dingy kind of thing.
You mean a bell, Mosey.
No, that's not it.
You know that sound when the snack just falls down in the machine?
Oh, yes.
This is ridiculous.
I agree.
I cannot believe we are in this predicament.
I know.
It's a perfectly reasonable expectation to have just as much as you want from your supply.
The snacks are ours after all.
And when I want something from our snacking station Well, it should come at the touch of a button every time.
This is how it always has been.
And it just isn't funny when I don't get satisfied.
My immediate hungers, they will not be denied.
Because I want it now.
Anything that might take hold of my endless reckless appetite.
And when I want it now, I won't be satisfied.
I will not be denied.
This is something that is really resonating with me.
You know, no matter what, when those snack machine doors open, I want to see a package of something in my palm.
No answers, just sing it.
So moist.
Where are we, Flip?
Well, you said you wanted to be in the middle of everything.
So I plotted a course for Central America, the landmass in between the continents of North America and South America.
Well, I do not see a squeezy munchie machine anywhere.
Perhaps there is a different kind of snack in this area.
Or maybe we'll meet an earthling who could... What is that?
I don't know.
That looks like... No.
No way.
It couldn't be.
What?
That looks like my Uncle Kevin, Flip.
That would be impossible, Mosey.
That's just a new Earthling we haven't met yet.
Well, I did say it couldn't be Uncle Kevin.
And it looks nothing like your Uncle...
Are you kidding me?
The nose?
Come on.
Mosey, this creature looks like an earth bear, except it has a strangely shaped head and long snout.
And have you seen my Uncle Kevin?
Excuse me.
Stay back.
Don't you come at me.
I will claw you.
I ain't going to be anybody's lunch now.
You just come on and shoot.
No.
Wait, it's okay.
Don't make me stand up on these hind legs.
I don't want to claw anybody, especially since I just got them the way I like them.
I mean, they look good, don't they?
Actually, they are quite fabulous.
Oh, I thank you.
Now back off.
Our apologies.
Um, we seem to have gotten off on the wrong foot.
Or claw.
I am flipping is mosey and we are visitors from another planet.
We are here to interview amazing earthlings for our travel pod program and also snacks.
Oh, i don't know anything about all that, but i am an ant eater.
Technically i am a giant ant eater, but i have cousins who are much bigger.
You can call me auntie.
It is a pleasure to meet you, Auntie.
And this is my son, Chester.
Chester, say hello.
Chester, be nice.
These are our new friends, Trip and Flozy.
I'm sure they didn't mean to scare us.
Actually, we're Flip and Mosey.
Well, you have to forgive Chester.
He's not used to company.
I didn't even see him there.
Does he always ride on your back?
Most of the time.
He gets off now and again.
Won't be able to carry him much longer.
He's just a baby now, but he's getting big.
Yes, you are.
Now, now, no need to brag.
I'm sure our friends are very impressed.
Yes, we are very impressed.
Also a little hungry.
Any idea where I could find a vending machine or maybe a Krogrov's taco takeout?
Ooh, good gracious.
I have no idea what any of that is.
But we were just on our way to get a late lunch if you two would like to join us.
So we couldn't impose.
Did somebody say lunch?
Sign me up.
All right then, Rosie.
You and Chip just follow along and we'll see if we can get a little something.
Okay, but it's actually Flip and Mosey.
Say, what exactly do you eat for lunch?
Oh, mostly ants.
Well, I am an ant eater, so the name kind of gave that away, I suppose.
But also termites, now and again.
They can really be tasty.
Probably never had ants or termites before, have you?
Strangely enough, we have.
We encountered a pangolin once.
Oh, did you now?
Oh, pangolins are adorable.
I love the way they just curl up into a ball and sit there.
Don't be jealous, Chester.
Okay, this is our first stop.
Wow, look at the size of that anthill, Flip.
Yeah, I like to start here.
These little black ones make nice appetizers.
So, do we use a stick or anything?
Nope.
Just gently pry apart the outer shell like so.
Okay.
And slurp away.
Flip, look at the size of her tongue.
It's got to be about two feet long.
I know.
That's longer than my tongue.
You have antenna?
Of course.
What did you think these things on my head were?
Bling?
I don't know.
I just thought you were just trying to be fashionable.
I do not do bling.
I know that's right.
Excuse me, Auntie?
What is it, honey?
We don't have tongues like that.
How do we... Just do whatever works for you.
But be careful.
Oh, Krasnitz.
I can't catch anything.
Flip, you're not even trying.
Yes, I've decided I'm not in the snacking mood at the moment.
I generally don't like my food to touch or touch me, so... You and Chester have that in common.
He doesn't eat solid food yet either.
Oh, that is not true.
Pay him no mind.
You have a very active imagination.
Oh, man.
You're missing out, Flip.
These are yummy.
I mean, they're not blorg niblets or anything, but they are okay.
I'm just going to dig in here a little more with my tentacles.
Oh, honey, be careful.
Look, Flip, if I get my tentacles sticky, it's like I have a bunch of tongues.
Yum!
Dinner is served.
Yummy.
Got me ketchup.
Oh, that's terrible.
This is terrible?
There are now more ants here than you could ever eat.
Yeah, come on, dig in.
Yes, more than we could eat today.
But tomorrow there won't be any here.
Huh?
We don't eat too much from one spot.
And why is that?
So there will still be some left for tomorrow and the next day and the next.
If you destroy the whole ant hill, you can never come back to it.
I'm sorry.
I didn't know.
We only ever graze, dozy.
It's mosey?
A little from here and a little from there.
It's how we ant eaters keep enough ants around for us to eat.
Really?
We go from hill to hill all day long, taking a little from this one, a little from that one.
Grazing?
Sure.
See, when your food requirements are as large and as intense as my body's asking.
Ooh, girl, I so feel you.
Yeah, you must certainly make sure that your food supply is secure.
When you take just a bit, you can come back. you hey grown-ups it's Mindy and Guy Raz here from wow in the world Mindy and I have some brand new wow in the world toys out in the world just in time for the holidays made for the kids who love science and for the ones who don't yet from our 100 experiments that wow kit to the telescope and astronomy kit our wow in the world toys help your wowser learn about their world through play plus can hear exclusive audio content from me and Guy Raz to help your wowzer discover even more wows.

You know, Flip, I think I could get used to being an anteater.
I mean, I'd like slightly larger portions, but I'm all about this buffet life.
Yes, well, this has definitely been an interesting snacking experience.
But what is next?
How do you mean, Skip?
It's Flip.
And I am curious about what you would do next.
You mean what an anteater would normally do if space aliens didn't drop by unexpectedly?
Uh, yes.
Exactly.
Oh, we'd eat more ants.
More?
Like I said, we gotta eat all day.
Gotta keep moving and looking for more ant hills.
You know, we gotta hit up to 200 nests a day just to keep going.
That's right, Chester.
Ant eater isn't just a name.
It's a way of life.
That is an excellent motto.
Write that down, Flip.
What's a motto?
Nothing.
What's the motto with you?
Well, I have been catching and eating ants all day, and I am still a little hungry.
My appendages are raw from this long grass and I am slightly concerned that we will bring insects back aboard the No Flip.
That was a joke.
What's the motto?
What's the matter?
Get it?
No.
Ooh, look here!
Biff!
Josie!
It's Flip and Mosey!
Come on over here and try this one.
It's time to mix it up a little with some turmeric.
Ooh, I remember these.
The termite mound is huge.
Yes, it's like an anthill, but it has a different texture.
Yeah, Flip, it's like goop.
Well, almost.
It's actually poop.
Poop!
And soil.
And a lot of termite spit.
But dung is a big ingredient, so make sure you stick to the bugs on this one.
Excellent advice.
Write that down, Flip.
So is this your lunch or your supper, Auntie?
I'm not sure I know anymore.
I think we're somewhere in between.
Right, Chester?
Chester?
Chester!
Honey, where did you go?
Wasn't he on your back?
He must have crawled down.
Whoa, where would he go?
Let me check my scanner.
I have detected him.
He is that way, over there by those new-looking antelopes.
Oh, Chester, honey, be careful.
Looks like Chester found another new anthill, and it's fresh.
Oh, Posey.
Mosey.
You want to be careful now.
Oh, I will.
I'm not going to destroy it.
I'm just going to grab a few bites from the buffet and... What's wrong, Chester?
Okay.
More for me, then.
I'll just... Ow.
Hey, my food bit me.
Ow.
Ow.
Ow.
You've got to remember that some ants bite and sting.
That could be why no one has touched that one.
I like my food to have a little bite, but this is too much.
So you don't eat those ants?
Oh, we do.
But we have fur that helps protect our skin.
And we really don't spend hardly any time at these ant hills.
We just swing by.
Like a drive-thru restaurant instead of a buffet?
Exactly.
Just like back home on Plagmar 5.
Flip!
My food is biting back.
What do I do?
There appears to be a small body of water just a few paces that way.
Maybe if you went... Cowabunga!
Are you better now, Mosey?
I think so.
We better go help him out, Kip.
It's Flip!
Come on out, honey.
I think you best head up here and rest for a spell.
That's an excellent idea.
I was impressed with that too, Chester.
You know Dobie, it's mosey.
A lot of creatures would have smashed that in here when they started to get bit, but not you.
Well, I was tempted to, but then I remembered what I did before and I didn't want to make that mistake again.
And if you had, you would have been stung a whole lot worse.
So that was a good choice.
Thank you.
I think you have both learned something today, haven't you?
Yes, I think we have.
Me too.
But please, Auntie, I would like to tell you something important.
Oh, what's that, Sugar?
My... name is Flip!
Of course it is.
Chester, honey, give me a beat.
Now, tell us what you learned today, Skip.
Oh, I mean Flick.
Flick?
I'm trying.
Well, on the spaceship where we live, there's a machine that fed us every day.
And we The day the food ran out would be so very far away.
Oh, we didn't see it coming.
But then just like that, we all ultimately ended up running out of our favorite snack.
And if we just ate them slower, well, we'd still be eating snacks today.
Aha, so?
Uh, yes?
Well, what did you learn?
Well, don't use it. a dwindling supply of ants.
Oh.
Oh.
But if I spread it around nicely among all the ant hills and if I only eat precisely what I need, then I will give it time to grow back and supply will always meet demand.
Oh.
Will you sing?
I'm sing.
Do you need me to lay it out one more time?
That would be nice.
You have a lovely voice. with another amazing earthling.
It sure does, but it also brings us back to snack time.
Yes, it does, Mosey.
I think we should be a little more like anteaters.
Wait, you want me to lick up bugs with my tongue?
No!
Because I'm kind of over that whole scene.
No, I mean showing respect and taking care of the things that provide for our needs.
Oh, yeah, that, definitely.
In fact...
Even though this machine is fully rebooted, I am going to have one and only one cup of goop.
Very good.
And I'm going to share it with my good friend.
Why, thank you, Mosey.
You are quite welcome, my friend.
Here's your half cup.
Cheers, Mosey.
Cheers, Trish.
What did you say?
Flip.
I mean, flip.
Cheers, flip.
Uh-huh.
Mmm.
Thank you, Earthlings, for joining us for this guide to how to be an Earthling.
We hope we helped you discover something new about your incredible home planet.
And if there's one thing we've discovered, it's that your planet is big.
You got land, sky, and ocean.
That is way too much for any two intergalactic travel guides to cover on our own.
So that is where you come in.
We need your help.
We can't do this on our own.
I need me time.
What Mosey is trying to say is that we need your contributions to our Earth Guide.
If you happen to notice or learn something interesting or unusual about an Earthling species on your planet, please share it with us.
