It's going to be a November to remember.
But for now, let's get on with the show.
Woo! once in a while is about to begin.
Reggie, did you help Mindy and Guy Raz get their astronaut costumes on?
What do you mean you don't remember?
Well, come on.
We better go find them.
Mindy, are you sure this is what astronauts wear in outer space?
It looks like you're wearing a trash bag.
And why does your helmet look like a fishbowl?
Oh, that's because my helmet is a fishbowl, Guy Raz.
Well, where are the fish?
They're in your water bottle.
What?
Now, can you help me put my helmet on?
Okay, stand still.
How do I look?
I think your trash bag space suit is leaking air.
Uh-oh.
Mindy, Guy, oh, there you are.
Houston, I found them.
No, your name is Reggie.
I was being funny.
Come on, you two.
It's time to blast off.
We're coming.
You there, space the ship.
And you, arm that pit.
And Reggie, count all the downs.
We're going live in three, two, one.
And now, for everyone's favorite game show, it's Two What's Up.
And the world!
The scientific game show that separates the wows from the what's.
And the category for today is... The Milky Way Galaxy.
Mindy, why don't you refresh our contestants on how the game works.
You know it, Guy Raz.
Contestants in each of our three rounds.
Today, Guy Raz and I will present you with three scientific statements about the Milky Way Galaxy.
But... And this is a big one.
But only one of those statements will be a true wow.
The other two, just a couple of made up what?
In each round, if you guess correctly, congratulations, you get a point.
But if you guess wrong, you must stop, drop, and do a ridonkulous physical challenge.
Okay, everyone, ready to start the game?
Great, let's do it.
Round one.
Which of the following statements about the Milky Way galaxy, the galaxy where we live, is a true scientific wow.
Is it A, it rains diamonds on Saturn and Jupiter?
Or is it B, on the planet Mercury, there was once a lake with glow-in-the-dark worms?
Or is it C, the extreme heat from the sun is what makes Mars red?
When you think you have the answer, tilt all the way to the side like Uranus and shout it out.
Thinking music, please.
And time is up.
Let's reveal the winning wow.
And to do just that, joining us by phone It's Lila from Pennsylvania.
Lila, tell us, what's the winning wow?
My wow is that it rains diamonds on Saturn and Jupiter.
Winner, winner, spaghetti and space balls for dinner.
Thank you, Lila.
Contestants.
If you guessed the answer A, that it rains diamonds on Saturn and Jupiter, you found the winning wow.
Congratulations.
That's right.
Lightning storms on both planets can turn methane gas into soot, which hardens into graphite and then pressure turns it into diamonds.
And when it hits the ground, it melts into the planet's core.
Now, if you did not get that answer correct, you must stop drop and bust out ten jumping jacks while shouting.
Okay, round two.
Which of the following statements is a true scientific wow?
Is it A, there's a gooey substance on the moon that tastes just like yogurt?
Or is it B, humans are made up of the same elements as stars?
Or is it C?
Some comets are tiny planets passing through our galaxy to get to their own galaxy.
When you think you have the answer, scream it at a star.
Hey, Reggie, cue the thinking music.
Time is up.
And to reveal the winning wow, it's Reese from North Carolina.
Reese, tell us, what's the winning wow?
My wow in my world is that humans are made up of the same elements as stars.
Winner, winner, moon yogurt for dinner.
Thank you, Reese.
Contestants.
If you guessed the answer B correctly, that humans are made up of the same elements as stars, you found the winning, wow.
Congratulations.
That's right, Wowzers.
The carbon, nitrogen and oxygen atoms in our bodies.
The tiny building blocks that make us who we are were created over 45 billion years ago in the stars.
In a way, we're all superstars.
Now, if you did not get that answer correct, you must stop drop and orbit a grown-up like a satellite.
And with that we'd like to thank one of our sponsors for today's show the cow that tried jumping over the moon.
I sure hope it made it to the utter side.
Oh, I get it now.
Okay, well, moving on to round three.
Which of the following statements is a true scientific wow?
Is it A, the spider star crawls two feet closer to Earth every day?
Or is it B, there's a bridge made of space junk on Mars?
Or is it C, penguin poop can be seen from outer space?
When you think you have the answer, bark it out like a little puppy.

Now back to the show.
Welcome back to Two What's and a Wow.
Two What's and a Wow.
The scientific game show that separates the wows from the what's.
Before the break, we left you with a dangling question for round three.
The question was, which of the following statements is a true scientific wow?
Was it A.
The spider star crawls two feet closer to Earth every day.
Or was it B?
There's a bridge made of space junk on Mars.
Or was it C?
Penguin poop can be seen from outer space.
We've given you some time to decide on the correct answer.
And to reveal that winning wow, please welcome by phone Dina from Hawaii.
Dina, tell us.
What's the winning wow?
My wow in the world is that penguin poop can be seen in outer space.
Thank you, and I love your show.
Winner, winner, astronaut ice cream for dinner.
Thank you, Dina.
Contestants.
If you guessed the answer C that penguin poop can be seen from outer space you found the winning wow.
Congratulations.
That's right.
Emperor penguins in Antarctica are great at hide-and-seek, but thanks to satellites, their poo can always be found.
Scientists use those satellites to look for dark smudges on the ice, and that lets them know where the penguins have been and even learn more about their environment.
Now, if you did not get that answer correct, you must waddle like a penguin and count to ten as fast as you can.
And race and go!
Dennis, you're messing them up.
No, I'm counting as fast as I can.
No one said anything about order.
What was that?
Oh, that sound can mean only one thing, Guy Raz.
It's time for today's Bonker Balls bonus round.
And the question for this round is... If oranges are called oranges...
Are lemons not called yellows?
Huh?
Congratulations to all of our winning contestants on today's show.
And everyone who played along today will be taking home a fabulous invisible prize.
By the way, why is it always an invisible prize?
Oh, because all of the visible ones were already taken.
Okay.
Reggie, it's time to roll out the prize generator.
Okay, to make sure that everyone walks away feeling like they've won something, even if they can only see it in their own imagination.
Okay, let's go.
All of our contestants today will be taking home their very own invisible swimming sardine necklace.
Indy, fish swimming around their necks may not be a good idea.
Can't we give them something else?
This literally stinks.
Guy Raz!
No, really, here, smell it.
Hey, the prize machine has spoken, Guy Raz.
Okay, well, that's just about all the time we have for today.
But before we go, we have a little space-themed challenge for you.
We call it Operation Starlight Starbright.
That's right.
The Milky Way is filled with some very cool constellations, and that means you need one of your own.
So it's time to make it happen.
On a piece of paper, with a pen marker, crayon or pencil, draw your own constellation that represents you.
And don't forget to take a photo or a video.
Grown-ups, you can upload pictures and videos to us at Tinkercast.com slash share.
And be sure to come back on Monday for a brand new episode of Wow in the World.
And again Friday for a new episode of Two What's and a Wow.
