It's going to be a November to remember.
But for now, let's get on with the show.
Woo out your pencils and a fresh sheet of parchment for tinker class is about to begin.
Welcome back to Tinker Class, our crash course in Science, Fun 101 for the science seekers and inventoritos of tomorrow.
It's day four of week four, so if you're just joining us for the first time, hit pause and go back and listen to the first three episodes of this week.
Don't worry, we'll be here when you finish.
This week we're using inspiration from our Wow in the World episode Getting nosy about the science of smell.
On day one, we had you listen to this episode while jotting down any thoughts, ideas and questions that came to mind.
And on day two, we had you collect good smells from around your home.
And yesterday you tested your favorite combination of these smells and gathered data based on your family's reaction to them.
And today...
It's time to use that data to improve your jar of smells.
That's right.
Remember, the challenge this week is to create a collection of smells that your whole family can enjoy.
Using your data, see how you can change your smell combination to make it more pleasant.
And this might mean removing a smell or adding a smell or just adjusting how much or how little of a certain smell you include.
Yeah, play around with different combinations and then retest the strength and pleasantness of your collection one more time, just like you did yesterday.
And when you're finished, share your findings with us.
You can leave us a message on our WOW hotline at 1-888-7-WOW-WOW.
Be sure to tell us about your collection of smells, what you used for them, what surprised you from the data you collected?
And how you can use your smells to stink up the whole house.
In a good way.
The point is, we want you to tell us everything and we might just play your message on tomorrow's final day of Tinker Class, Week 4.
Once again, our phone number is 1-888-7WowWow.
You can also share pictures and videos of your project with us at Tinkercast.com slash share.
And meet us back here tomorrow for the final step in the tinkering process.
And grown-ups.
