It's going to be a November to remember.
But for now, let's get on with the show.
Woo! out your pencils and a fresh sheet of parchment, for Tinker Class is about to begin.
Welcome back to Tinker Class, our crash course in Science.
Fun 101 for the science seekers and inventoritos of tomorrow.
It's day three of week three, so if you're just joining us for the first time, hit Pause and go back and listen to the first two episodes of this week.
Don't worry.
We'll be here when you finish.
This week, we're using inspiration from our Wow in the World episode, Good Habitat Keeping.
On day one, we had you listen to this episode while jotting down any thoughts, ideas and questions that came to mind.
Yesterday we had you search through your imagination to come up with a creature and what that creature's habitat would need to help it survive.
And today, now that you're an expert on your imaginary creature, it's time to design a habitat for it.
Now remember.
Its habitat must help to protect it from predators, give it access to food and water, and fit well with this creature's characteristics and behaviors.
Sort of like how Mindy's gingerbread house... Ahem.
Mansion.
Gingerbread Mansion.
Sort of like how Mindy's gingerbread mansion offers protection from the weather.
But also serves as a snack when I eat my house.
Go ahead and draw a picture of the habitat design from your mind.
And don't forget to label the specific parts.
And meet us back here tomorrow for day four of Tinker Class, when we'll bring your habitat design to life.
And grown-ups.
