Our story today is about a family of three bears who live in the woods and a young girl called Goldilocks.
We'll listen carefully and you'll hear what happens when the bears go out for a walk one day and Goldilocks comes to their house.
in the cottage of the three bears in the middle of a deep dark wood daddy bear was making porridge mummy bear and baby bear were setting the table with breakfast bowls daddy bears bowl was big like a washing up bowl mommy bear had a medium -sized bowl and baby bear Had a sweet little baby bowl.
This porridge is very hot," said Daddy Bear.
Let's go for a walk in the woods, while it cools down a little.
So they did. Forgetting to close the front door behind them.
Someone else was walking in the woods that day and someone else hadn't had their breakfast that morning.
Goldilocks was hot.
Goldilocks was lost in the woods.
And Goldilocks had a rumbly tummy.
But most of all Goldilocks was very, very criss.
Suddenly she saw something wonderful.
And smelled something wonderful.
Pirage! Seeing the open door, Goldilocks marched right into the cottage of the three bears and decided to help herself to some breakfast. She saw three bowls on the kitchen table.
A great, big bowl, a medium sized bowl and a sweet, little baby bowl.
The hungry girl went to the big bowl, dipped in her spoon and tasted the porridge.
fridge. It's so hot, Goldilocks cried.
Much too hot. Goldilocks moved on to the medium -sized bowl.
Yeah. She cried this time.
It's so sweet, much too sweet.
Finally, Goldilocks came to the smallest bowl.
The sweet little baby bowl.
This is just right," she said.
When all the porridge was gone from the smallest bowl, Goldilocks decided that her legs were tired and this made her cross.
She spied three chairs.
There was a great big chair, a medium -sized chair, and a sweet little baby chair.
Goldilocks marched right over to the biggest chair and climbed up onto the seat.
Oh, she cried. It's so hard!
Much too hard! Next, Goldilocks headed to the medium -sized chair.
Ooohhh. Goldilocks cried.
This is much too soft!
Finally, she headed for the sweet little baby chair.
Oh yes! She smiled.
This is just right.
Suddenly the chair cracked and broke beneath her, throwing her to the ground.
Goldilocks didn't feel sorry, she just felt cruss.
Feeling sleepy now as well as cruss, Goldilocks decided to find a bed to lie down on.
Upstairs, in the cottage's only bedroom, Goldilocks spied three beds.
There was a great big bed, a medium sized bed, and a sweet little baby bed.
Goldilocks marched right over to the big bed.
Oh. This bed is so high.
It's much too high.
She said, Oh. This bed is so low.
She cried when she tried the medium size bed.
It's much too low. Finally.
Goldilocks tried the sweet little baby bed.
And, you guessed it.
Oh! This is just right!
She smiled! And within seconds, Goldilocks was fast asleep.
When the three bears returned home, they were cross too.
Oh! Somebody's been eating my porridge!
Fried -Daddy -Bear Oh, somebody's been eating my porridge, cried Mummy Bear.
Somebody's been eating my porridge, said Baby Bear.
And it's all gone. Somebody's been sitting in my chair.
Daddy Bear noticed.
Ooh, somebody's been sitting in my chair.
said Mummy bear. Some moody has been sissing in my chair." said baby bear.
Now it's broken. Somebody's been sleeping in my bed.
cried daddy bear upstairs now.
Ooh somebody's been sleeping in my bed.
Echoed mummy bear in horror.
Ooh, so far she's been sleeping in my bed.
Said baby bear. And she's still there, ooh, ooh.
Goldilocks woke with a start.
She cried when she saw, not won, not two, but three bears at the end of her bed.
She was too scared to be crossed, oh!
She cried again. And then as quick as a flash, she leapt out of bed, zoomed past the three bears, shot down the stairs, and ran out of the door.
And that was the end of that.
But something had changed.
The three bears never, ever left their house again without locking the door behind them.
And when Goldilocks's mummy told her off for going into the woods alone, without even eating her breakfast first. Goldilocks didn't for once feel cross.
She just felt sorry, and she agreed with her mummy that she would never, ever, do that again, ever.
