Today's episode is called Take Me Out to the Ball Game.
Let's knock it out of the park! It's good to be with you my friend Hello Hello I'm glad we're together again We got Zach on the keys Katie singing la, la, la, la, la, we'll have some fun in our imagination Go on adventures again and again Hello?

You're listening to Super Simple Imagination Time.
I'm Katie, and this is Zach. Hello, hello.
Zach is playing the piano. Do you recognize that song?
I've heard it before at a stadium when I went to see a sports game.
It's sometimes played on an organ. And it gets everyone in the crowd excited.
I'm feeling excited today because we're going on an imagination adventure to a big stadium filled with people to see a Baseball game!
Charge! It's gonna be a lot of fun. But before we begin, let's clear our minds.
We're going to need lots of room to fit this baseball stadium in our imaginations.
Are you ready, Zach? Ready, Katie. Are you ready, friends?
Let's take a deep breath. In one, two, three, hold it.
Out three, two, one. Let's imagine the sounds we might hear at a baseball game.
The crack of a bat hitting the ball. And the cheers from the crowd.
It feels so exciting! Let's imagine the excitement buzzing all the way from the tops of our head down to the tips of our toes.
Whoa, excited all over! Let's close our eyes and take one more deep breath all together.
In one, two, three, hold it. Out three, two, one.
We're ready to step inside the stadium and see this baseball game.
Let's go! Take me out to the ball game Take me out with the crowd Buy me some peanuts and crackerjack.
I don't care if I never get back, let me root.
Root, root for the home team If they don't win, it's a shame For it's one, two, three strikes you're out at the old ball Wow.
Can you see it in your mind? I imagine. I see lots and lots of people.
Some are holding signs that say go team!
They all look so excited! This is an excited face.
This is my excited face. And everyone is looking down at the baseball diamond.
It's so big. The three bases and home plate make a shape like a diamond.
Can you see it? The grass behind the diamond is bright green.
The sun is shining down into the stadium, making everything shine.
Oh, Mr. Sun Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, please shine down on me Oh, and I see the two baseball teams playing today.
They're wearing different colors. I imagine they're wearing blue and yellow.
Yeah, and I imagine the other team is wearing purple and orange.
So fun! What colors do you imagine the teams are wearing?
And more importantly, who are we cheering for?
Usually, when you watch a baseball game, there's one team that you cheer for to win.
Let's cheer for the team going up to bat.
A player is stepping up to the plate. Let's cheer really loud so they can hear us way down there.
We'll be as loud as a lion! I'm as loud as a lion, listen to me Loud as a lion, listen to me Loud as a lion, listen to me Go, team, go!
I imagine the player lifts up their bat and looks at the pitcher.
The pitcher winds up and throws the ball.
It zooms towards home plate and goes right past the batter and into the catcher's mitt.
Strike one. Huh, nuts. I imagine I hear the crowd let out a big groan.
But that's okay. The batter has two more tries.
The pitcher winds up again. Throws the ball.
The batter swings. And the batter misses.
Strike two. Well, that one looked close.
We have one more try. You can do it, batter!
I imagine the pitcher winds up. And throws the ball.
It flies so fast. I can barely see it as it goes.
Right into the catcher's mitt. Strike three!
Oh no! One, two, three strikes your route at the old ball.
The whole crowd sounds disappointed. I imagine all the excited faces are gone, and now everyone in the stadium is sad.
I feel a bit sad too. When I'm feeling big feelings I stop and see how the big Even though I feel disappointed.
I know it's a game. And even though our team might not win every time, it's still fun to watch.
It seems like our team needs some help today.
Hey, let's imagine we're on the baseball team and maybe we can help them score a point.
That sounds like fun. We can do anything when we use our imagination.
We can be anything when we're imagining Anything we want to be, imagine with me I imagine I'm not up in the stands anymore.
Instead, I'm down on the grass. Getting ready to go up to bat.
The view is a bit different down here. Let's look up into the crowd.
There are so many people looking down at us, waiting to see what we can do for our team.
Let's make sure we're all ready before we step up to the plate.
Getting ready, ready, ready, ready, ready, ready, ready, ready, ready, ready, ready to bat.
We'll put on our helmet. Make sure our shoes are tied.
Warm up our bodies. Now we're ready to play ball.
We're ready, ready, ready, we're ready, ready, ready to play baseball.
I imagine the bat feels heavy in my hands.
I look down to make sure my feet are lined up with home plate.
Then I look up towards the baseball diamond.
Can you see the picture? I imagine they look much closer now.
We're ready for the ball. The pitcher winds up.
Here it comes. Imagine the best swinging across your body, but it doesn't hit the ball.
Instead, we hear a thud as the ball goes into the catcher's mitt.
Strike one. It's okay. We have two more tries.
We can do it! When you wanna give up, try again Keep on trying, keep on trying The pitcher winds up and throws the ball.
Whoopsie! I imagine the picture threw the ball way too high.
It goes right over our heads! Woo! Good thing we didn't swing!
Yeah, I don't think we could hit a ball thrown that high if we tried.
We have to wait for the perfect throw. Right down the middle.
Just wait for the perfect pitch. Waiting, waiting We're patient as we're waiting Waiting, waiting Sometimes we have to wait Let's take a deep breath In one two three hold it Out 3 2 1 I imagine things are starting to move in slow motion.
The pitcher moves their arms in a big circle, getting ready to throw the ball.
The ball starts moving towards us. Can you see it in your mind?
It's getting closer? And closer, it's almost time to swing.
We move the bat. And I imagine I can feel the bat hit with a big thwack.
I see the ball moving back into the air, going higher, and higher, and so far!
We did it! Now it's time to run! Oh yes!
We hit the ball! Now we have to run around the bases!
Let's go! We'll run towards the first base.
Make sure to step on the base as you pass.
One. Keep going towards second base. Two!
Now onto third base. Three! Can we make it all the way to home plate?
We're almost there! We made it! We hit a home run!
The ball flew over the whole baseball diamond and into the stands.
I imagine I hear the crowd shouting hooray as loud as a lion.
And our teammates lift us up into the air, cheering!
Yes! It's so exciting to imagine being in a big baseball game.
Let's imagine we're back in the stands. Now all the players look small down there on the big baseball diamond.
Oh, but what's that on the floor by our feet?
Let's pretend to look down. And I imagine I see a baseball.
Let's pretend to pick it up. It feels nice and heavy and round in our hands.
I imagine this baseball was a home run hit that went way up over the diamond and into the stands just when we imagined we hit the ball.
We can imagine that we'll keep this ball with us as a great memory of our imaginary baseball game.
Take me out to the ball game Take me out with the crowd Buy me some peanuts and crackerjack I don't care if I never get back Let me root, root root for the home team If they don't win, it's a shame For it's one, two, three strikes You're out at the old ball Thanks for joining us today.
