Hello everybody.
This is teacher Levi.
Today we'll be filming another slow English video.
This time we're inside a restaurant and we're having pizza.
Let me show you.
This was called picante, which means spicy.
I believe.
So sometimes we have pizza sliced.
You can see it here sliced, but it's not fully sliced.
So we need to use a knife fork and a knife to cut it a little better.
So this way we can keep our hands clean, and i prefer to eat with a fork and a knife in general.
Okay, we also got uh, this is ginger ale.
Okay, so we got ginger ale in a glass bottle and we got a glass and we've talked about to pour, but we'll repeat, because remember the key, one of the keys repetition.
To repeat if we're learning new vocabulary to use it in our conversations and in our speaking practice.
All right, guys.
So we got back.
The food was amazing and so there was a lot of commotion.
We were sitting by the stairs in the restaurant, so people were coming up and down the stairs and but the pizza was really good.
So we came back home and we'll make some matcha or I'll make some notice I'll make some matcha and I'll show you the ingredients and then making the matcha, which is a type of drink this is Japanese matcha.
I think it tastes a little Notice, little like seaweed.
So, but once in a while I do drink matcha.
Of course, if you watched some of my other videos, I think I've mentioned that I don't drink coffee.
So this is a nice alternative.
Nice alternative.
We have a milk frother.
Okay.
Milk frother.
Then we have honey.
We have two mugs that we'll put the matcha into.
We have milk and also the matcha.
And we're heating the milk, warming up the milk, so it's a warm drink.
You can also put ice into it, I've been told.
But we won't be doing that.
And we have a teaspoon to add the matcha into the mugs.
So let's wait until the milk is done and then we'll add the ingredients.
Okay, so we have our two mugs, we'll add, take the lid off of the matcha and we'll do one teaspoon notice, we'll do one teaspoon about like this into each mug.
And then we'll add about an inch of water into each mug.
Then we'll use the milk frother to froth it. for about 30 seconds until the clumps are gone.
Let me show you the clumps.
And here you can see those bigger pieces we call clumps.
So about 30 seconds.
Is it any good?
And then we'll add the milk.
So we'll pour.
We've talked about to pour the milk to about here and we'll add the milk to this one as well.
And the matcha is almost done.
Now we need to add our honey.
And now we're mixing the honey into the matcha.
Some people prefer to have less or maybe no honey.
I like mine a little sweet.
So I added about a teaspoon of honey.
Yeah, this is good.
This matcha is like sweet.
All right, so we have the matcha.
Now I'd like to share that today is New Year's Eve.
So in a few hours, we'll meet with some friends and I will film the fireworks.
We'll see the fireworks at midnight.
Midnight is 12 o'clock.
Notice 12 o'clock.
12 o'clock, so i'll film that.
You might see a familiar face from the past in the video.
So we'll do that soon.
In a few hours we'll go out and meet with some friends and see the fireworks.
Hey guys, as you can see, it is snowing, So we will film a little outside.
I'm not sure if there will be music.
So I can film some music, but some music gets copyrighted.
So then it gets removed from YouTube or gets detected by YouTube.
So we'll film a little outside just in case I can't film later, but i will film the fireworks.
So we're in the city and i want to say again the statement about goals, how important those important goals are for your english and how you should have goals if you want to have a good head start for 2026, the new year.
So we'll have a live stream tomorrow, depending on whether or not I get to upload this video.
We'll have the final episode of the book club or the book challenge posted.
If you miss it, you can watch it back.
Notice watch it back later.
It is uploaded to the channel so you're able to watch it afterwards, instead of saying later, we can say afterwards, so you can watch it afterwards and follow along the book with the book.
If you have the book either the physical copy or you got it online
You can read the book and follow along.
We have vocabulary, which we cover during the live streams, phrases and expressions.
And this is a good way to continue your reading journey.
Remember, reading is one of the four pillars which we have spoken about, which are reading writing, listening and speaking.
And this way, when you're out in the city, either talking to people or having class, you're able to use the new words or expressions which you learned in our videos or on the live streams through reading the books.
So these are useful expressions.
Some might be phrasal verbs.
Some might be idioms or simple vocabulary words.
But you're able to use them in your conversation.
So that is the idea.
Happy New Year and happy holidays to everybody.
And thank you for joining.
Say hello.
