Here's the news. A train themed around the legendary Sanshin Dui Ruins site has recently launched in southwest China's Sichuan province.
Departing from Chengdu East Railway Station, the train takes 18 minutes to reach the Sanshin Dui ruins and around two hours to reach Zhoujiai Valley, two of Sichuan's most prominent attractions.
It operates daily with thirteen round trips and is expected to carry about 30 ,000 passengers per day.
Jointly developed by China Railway Chung Do Group company and the Sanxingdue Museum, the themed train aims to offer an immersive cultural experience for both domestic and international travelers.
The Sanxingdue The ruins are believed to be the remnants of the Shu kingdom dating back 4 ,500 to 3 ,000 years.
Joji Valley, a UNESCO world heritage site is celebrated for its spectacular waterfalls, lush forests, serene plateau lakes, and karst rock formations.

An ancient Egypt themed exhibition at the Shanghai museum has become the world's most visited paid special exhibition of cultural relics, marking another milestone in China's cultural tourism boom.
The exhibition titled, On Top of the Pyramid The Civilization of Ancient Egypt, was the largest of its kind held outside Egypt over the past 20 years.
According to museum officials, since its opening in July 2024, Therefore, the exhibition has drawn over 2 million visitors and generated 580 million yuan, about 80 .6 million US dollars in tourism revenue.
The museum estimates that visitor numbers will exceed 2 .5 million and revenue could exceed 700 million yuan by its closing in mid August this year.
Co -hosted by the Shanghai Museum and Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, the exhibition features 788 artifacts from Egypt, including many from Saqqara, an important burial site in ancient Egypt.
It also includes dozens of ancient Chinese artifacts to create a dialogue between the two millennia old civilizations.
Chu Xiaobo, curator of the Shanghai Museum, described the exhibition as an important cultural exchange program between China and Egypt, praising it as one of the world's most remarkable Super Exhibitions in recent years.
The exhibition has previously made headlines with its innovative arrangements including night events that invited audiences to bring pet cats.
The great success of the exhibition has taken place as China is experiencing a boom in the cultural and tourism sector with museums drawing unprecedented interest from tourists.
During the past May Day holiday, museums across China recorded more than 60 million visits, setting a new record and marking a 17 % increase year on year.
According to the National Cultural Heritage Administration, in 2024, Chinese museums received over 1 .4 billion visits, a new record high after 1 .29 billion visits in 2023.
The Egyptian exhibition in Shanghai has seen nearly 70 % of its visitors coming from outside the city.
Local officials have hailed the exhibition for boosting cultural and tourism consumption in the metropolis.

Yunnan Province, a major supplier of flowers in Southwest China, has reported robust export of fresh -cut flowers in the first four months of this year.
According to the Kunming Customs, the export value of Yunnan's fresh -cut flowers hit 360 million yuan, about 50 million US dollars, from January to April, up 51 % year on year.
The production of fresh cut flowers in Yunnan now accounts for more than 70 % of the market share nationwide, Donan Flower Market in the provincial capital city of Kunming, the world's second largest fresh cut flower trading hub and Asia's largest, is witnessing a sustained boom in the export to over 50 countries and regions, including Thailand, Japan, Singapore, as well as Russia, Australia and increasingly Central Asian countries.
Zhou Tianyi, who is in charge of a flower base in Kunming, said that his company ships 60 ,000 fresh -cut flowers weekly to Kazakhstan.
