We'll remember how your amazing body keeps you alive and growing.
Wander through the wonders of space and weather. and peek at the clever inventions that shape our world.
And of course, We'll celebrate the curious, funny and thoughtful questions you've shared with us all season long.

Did you know that 3D printers can print chocolate?
And scientists are working on making them create cookies, too?
Imagine printing your own dessert. Season four began with 3D printing. one of the most interesting technologies changing our world.
Remember how we learned that 3D printers build objects layer by layer?
Just like stacking super thin pieces of paper, we learned that doctors print custom prosthetic limbs Scientists are printing human organs like hearts and kidneys And astronauts use 3D printers in space to make the tools they need.
We discovered that plastic for 3D printers starts as crude oil deep underground. which is heated and splits into small molecules known as monomers before forming into lengthy chains known as polymers.
It resembles the transformation of the building blocks of nature into the inventions of the future.
We also explored how 3D printing is changing the toy industry. letting kids design and print their very own custom creations.
Instead of everyone having the same toy from a factory mold, you could print a toy that's uniquely yours.
Maybe even one you dreamed up yourself. But technology isn't just about making things.
It affects our health, too. We learned that spending too much time staring at screens constrain your eyes and make it harder to fall asleep.
Your amazing body needs balance, just like everything else in science.
3D printing shows us that with creativity and science working together, we can solve problems in ways people never imagined before.
From helping people walk again with custom prosthetics to making tools in space.
Technology is making impossible things possible every single day.
Did you know your body produces about one to three pints of gas every single day?
That's roughly the same amount as a large milk container.
And speaking of stinky... Did you know that penguins are strangely attracted to the scent of rotten eggs?
While that sounds gross to us, to a penguin, it smells like dinner time.
This season, we took an amazing journey inside your body.
And we discovered that you're made of about 37 trillion cells.
That's 37-000-000-000 all working together to keep you healthy, growing, and learning.
We explored your skeleton All 206 bones that give you structure and protect your most important organs Your skull protects your brain.
Your ribs act like armor for your heart and lungs.
And your bones even make new blood cells in a special place called bone marrow.
We learned about digestion, the six-step process that turns your breakfast into energy.
From chewing and swallowing to your stomach's powerful acids breaking food into mush. called chyme, to your small intestine, absorbing all the good nutrients And finally, your large intestine dealing with what's left over.
And yes? we talked about gas too. Those five different gases, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and methane. that sometimes need to escape.
Do you know what they escape as? Do you remember that your nose can smell 50,000 different smells?
That's a lot of different smells. How many can you list?
Maybe you can have a competition to see who can name the most.
We learned why food smells so good. Those aromatic compounds that make your brain say, let's eat.
And why fart? smell so bad. Those sulfur compounds that signal waste Some people even have synesthesia. where they might see colors when they hear music or taste words.
We also explored curious parts of your body. like why you have tiny muscles in your ears, why you get goosebumps, and how your sternocleidomastoid, that's your neck muscle, helps you turn your head.
We discovered that your brain uses 20% of all your body's energy. even though it's only 2% of your weight.
No wonder good breakfast fuel matters so much.
Remember learning why you can't just eat candy for breakfast?
Your body needs steady energy from proteins, carbohydrates, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals.
Not just the quick sparkler-like energy burst that candy gives you.
And we had some fun with some gross but fascinating facts. like how your stomach acid is strong enough to etch metal. how your skin replaces itself about 1,000 times in your lifetime. and why eggs are slimy inside. those stretchy proteins that protect the yolk and turn firm when you cook them.
Did you know you're literally made of stardust?
Every atom in your body comes from ancient star explosions.
Does that make you a star too? Did you know the sun looks white to astronauts in space?
But Earth's atmosphere scatters the light to make it appear yellow or orange to us?
Do you think you will visit the sun someday? we learned some amazing facts about our universe.
We found out that space itself doesn't have a temperature.
Only things in space do. Astronauts see the sun as white, but we see it as yellow or orange. because of the air on Earth.
We found out that every atom in your body came from an explosion of a star. which means that you are literally made of stardust.
Nuclear fusion is what makes the sun so hot.
In its super hot core, 15 million degrees Celsius, hydrogen atoms smashed together to make helium. which releases a lot of energy that takes thousands of years to reach the surface.
We explored other planets and their atmospheres.
Mars has a butterscotch colored sky during the day, but turns blue at sunset. which is the opposite of Earth.
Venus has such a thick atmosphere of carbon dioxide that it's hotter than an oven at 462 degrees Celsius.
Jupiter has auroras 1,000 times more powerful than Earth's northern lights. and can be larger than our entire planet.
The weather fascinated us too. We learned the difference between weather, what's happening right now, and climate long-term patterns over 30 plus years.
We discovered why the South Pole is colder than the North Pole.
Antarctica is a high icy continent surrounded by ocean. while the Arctic is an ocean surrounded by land.
Antarctica's massive ice sheet high elevation and fierce winds up to 327 kilometers an hour, make it the coldest place on Earth.
We studied the water cycle, which includes evaporation, which turns liquid water into invisible vapor condensation which forms clouds when the vapor cools, precipitation, which returns water to Earth as rain or snow, and collections. which returns all of the water to rivers, lakes and subterranean sources.
We discovered that even though a single tiny cloud contains hundreds of tons of water, It floats due to the minuscule size of its droplets.
Climate change became less scary when we understood it as changes in average conditions over long periods.
We learned positive actions we can all take. staying curious and learning, turning off lights when not needed. reducing waste and recycling.
Small actions by lots of people can make a big difference for our planet's future.

Luckily, your stomach has a special lining to protect itself from dissolving.
Did you know that when you cook an egg, the heat makes those stretchy proteins completely change their shape and reconnect in new ways?
Scientists call this protein denaturation.
