hi i'm clarice and in this video i thought i'd bring you along with me for a week in my life and this was a very fun week to vlog i had some fun dinner plans a special screening but i also had a lot of uni work to catch up on and was also trying to find balance amongst it all so without further ado i hope you enjoy and let's get right into it good morning everyone and welcome or welcome back to another video and happy monday i'm gonna be filming another week in my life this week and just bringing you along with me i have a few fun things planned this week so i think it'll be fun to vlog but as i said today is monday and we actually are about halfway into the semester already which is kind of crazy to think about but that means i am kind of on the end of midterms i submitted most of them last week but i still have one i have to submit tonight which i'm like almost done with it so i'm just gonna finish that up this afternoon and submit that and then later this evening i am so excited i'm going to a screening of severance the tv series it's on apple tv and it's a screening of the seventh episode of season two which was directed by the cinematographer for the show and there's also going to be a q a with her so i am so excited our school sent out an invite for this event like over a week ago and they were just like if you want to come rsvp will add your name but at the time of receiving that email i had not yet seen the series i just had been meaning to so i rsvp'd and this past week i've essentially just been binge watching the show and it's so good so i'm really excited for that tonight i do normally have class on monday evenings but i'm just Not gonna go because I would much rather go to that screening I think it's fine to miss one class, you know out of the school year That being said i'm gonna grab my little notepad right now and just plan out my week Enjoy my matcha and then as I said, I have a midterm that I still have to submit So i'm gonna do that without further ado Feel free to grab yourself a matcha or coffee or whatever your drink of choice is and let's get right into it All right. good morning everyone and happy tuesday last time i think i vlogged was yesterday night at the sovereignty screening which was so much fun it was such a good episode if you keep up with the show then season two episode seven is so different and it was just so great getting to not only watch it but also talk with the person who directed it and like basically helped build the visual world of season one and two Anyways, now I'm like, I feel like my life was empty because I have to wait for the next episode.
But I'm so, so glad I went to that.
It was such a fun time.
And honestly I feel like it was the only interesting thing I did yesterday, because otherwise I was just sat in front of my computer and I submitted my midterm for my propaganda class.
But today is Tuesday and I'm actually gonna head to school to do some editing.
I booked one of the editing suites there just to get ahead a little bit, because I am editing one of the projects that was filmed by my class, and so I have to show something in class tomorrow and I have already like, made a little bit of progress, but I just want to make sure that I'm submitting something that is watchable.
So yeah, I feel like this semester is slowing down a little bit now that most of my midterms are done and also, we've already all filmed our winter projects because, if you didn't know, I'm studying film.
I absolutely love my major and it's just so much fun to talk about it and learn about it and share that with you guys.
And so this semester we were filming four short films.
I worked on two of them as producer and the other as assistant director, and now the third one I am editing.
So I'm really excited.
I saw the footage already, but now I'm just gonna like work on getting it organized and Kind of boring things honestly, but I am still going to bring you along.
And then other than that, this evening, I have plans to meet up with some friends for dinner.
So I'm really excited for that.
It's going to be a nice way to just end the day.
Anyways, all this to say, I'm going to pack my bag and I will catch up with you guys once I'm in the editing room.
Wednesday was another busy but very productive day.
I feel like usually, by the time Wednesday hits, I'm just ready to lock in and get all the work I need to do for the week done.
As you can see, I did my whole morning routine before heading out to campus early, where I spent the few hours before my class editing a rough cut of the short film I'm working on.
To be honest, most of my days lately have consisted of this, so this was a very realistic day for me, especially midweek. good morning everyone and happy thursday i didn't really update the vlog much yesterday i think i was just kind of out and about as you saw i edited it in the morning once again and then had class in the afternoon where we just kind of showed the progress of our short film projects so it was a pretty busy day i'm not gonna lie i came home pretty exhausted and then this morning i had my course registration so all of last night i was preparing for that and essentially just like looking up all the classes i need to take and i don't know if i'm the only person that feels this way but i feel like course registration is so stressful for no reason anyways i was really nervous about that and then went to bed late just trying to figure that out so i'd be ready because i had to register at eight this morning thankfully everything went well i also feel like it's very early for us to be doing registration for next year since like we're not we're about halfway into the winter semester so it's kind of strange registering for classes that i'm going to be taking next fall and winter but this week i've just had like a lot going on and i feel like i've been just a little bit all over the place but yeah i'm kind of hitting a wall i find now that it's thursday and i'm just like needing to rest a little bit and needing to just like recharge but i mean i've had a really great week and i've had a fun time i just feel like mentally i'm a bit drained and just like so scattered that i can't really i don't know like take things as they are i'm always thinking about like the next thing i need to be doing anyways as i was saying today is thursday i have montage aesthetics this afternoon so i have that lecture i have to go to um but i'm probably gonna head to campus early and like try to work at a coffee shop or something because i also have my online class that i usually like to do on wednesday mornings but i just haven't like watched the lectures or done the work for that yet so i feel like getting out of the house and in an environment where people go to be productive is going to be helpful and i'm probably going to get myself a matcha which i very much look forward to Thank you.

As you saw, I did my workout, took a shower.
I also had lunch and blow dried my hair and just kind of got ready.
I've been working basically at my computer for most of the afternoon since and surprisingly, have been quite productive.
Today was a very productive day and i'm very happy with how it turned out because, first of all, i didn't check my phone first thing in the morning, which is, to me, a great accomplishment.
To be honest, i'm probably just gonna sit here and keep working on my to-do list up until i have to get ready and head out for dinner, so i'll probably see you guys then, because i feel like most of what i've included in this vlog so far has just been me working at a computer, which is honestly like the reality of what my weeks look like.
