I have an important announcement to make.
I've just launched my own app.
For a long time, you guys have been asking for something more, something deeper.
And today I can finally share the answer for those of you who are desperate to go from a B1 level to a solid B2 level of English.
In this video, I'm going to tell you all about it.
But first, I need to tell a story about why and how this app came to existence.
I've been teaching English for 20 years.
I started learning this language when I was 15.
And if we combine my time as a learner and a teacher, that is over 25 years of experience, knowledge and transformation.
I have experienced firsthand how being fluent in English changes your life.
And I have successfully transitioned from being a local teacher to a global one.
Now, thanks to the internet, I've been able to reach students from all over the world through my YouTube channel, my courses and my private community.
But as my online presence has grown, something became painfully evident to me.
I can't help everyone at the level I wish I could.
Yes, I create free video lessons, I have a pronunciation course, and I offer private coaching.
But I kept asking myself, how can I help even more people?
How can I help the students who feels completely stuck at the intermediate plateau and doesn't know what to do next?
Let's talk about the problem with the current landscape of language apps.
You've probably downloaded them.
You've probably used them.
And don't get me wrong, there are some fantastic apps out there.
I've even recommended a couple of them myself here on the channel, because I genuinely like them and I believe they can be useful on your English learning journey.
But here's the issue.
Most language learning apps out there take what I call the shotgun approach.
The lessons are incredibly generic.
They try to cater to everyone, ranging from A1 all the way to C1, supposedly.
But in attempting to capture everyone and all levels, the depth of the lessons becomes quite superficial.
It's wide, but it's shallow.
The learning model is often too passive as well.
You are just given exercises to tap, swipe, you are told what to do, and that's it.
You aren't really challenged to produce the language or to think critically in English.
And the biggest problem?
They don't address the specific pain of the intermediate plateau.
When you are at a B1 level, you don't need more generic.
The cat is on the table.
I drink milk exercises.
You need nuance.
You need depth.
You need feedback.
So, I started daydreaming.
I started thinking, what if?
What if there was a way for lessons to be tailored specifically to the intermediate and advanced learner?
What if practice sessions could be highly personalized to your specific life and interests?
What if there was a way for you to access my entire teaching philosophy, my methodology and my guidance 24x7, at an affordable price?
Look, I love working with people one-on-one.
It's one of my passions.
But private coaching with me is not cheap.
And realistically, I can only work with a few people at a time.
I wanted a solution that focused specifically on helping you get to a solid B2 level and start using the language in an advanced, confident way.
Well, thanks to the advent of AI, that what-if is now a reality, introducing my new app, the B2 Edge.
This isn't just another language game.
It's a coaching app powered by AI, but trained by me.
Inside this app, you are learning English with my resources, my teaching philosophy and my curriculum.
It is literally like having me as your personal English coach, right in your pocket, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Here's how it happened.
A few months ago, the folks at a company called Studio got in touch with me.
They asked if I would be interested in being part of the very first wave of creators to launch their own coaching apps.
These coaching apps will revolutionize the market.
Mark my words.
For those of you who don't know, Studiocom is a platform that helps creators turn their expertise into beautifully designed, fully functional apps.
They provide the AI power, tools and infrastructure that allow creators like me to bring our ideas to life and connect directly with you.
The audience.
And just to give you an idea of the quality here, this is the same platform used by top creators like Kygo, Charlie Puth, David Blaine and Mark Rober.
When I saw what they were building, I knew this was the vehicle I needed to finally solve the intermediate plateau problem for my students at scale.
So let's talk about what this app actually does for you.
Why will this get you to B2 faster?
Well, the first major benefit is structure.
One of the biggest reasons you feel stuck is that you are overwhelmed.
There is too much information out there.
You watch a video here, you listen to a podcast there, but you don't have a map.
The B2 Edge solves this.
When you enter the app, You don't just get a random list of exercises.
We have built a proven 77 lesson curriculum designed specifically to move you from B1 to B2 and recover everything.
You'll master B2 level grammar and sentence structure.
You will expand your vocabulary significantly, and not just with random words, but with the specific vocabulary you need to function at an upper intermediate level.
You will practice listening in the app, reading and writing.
You don't have to guess what to study next.
You log in and the path is laid out for you.
You just follow the steps.
The second benefit, and this is where the AI really shines, is personalization.
When you download the app, you go through a personalized onboarding process.
You answer questions about your habits, your goals, your challenges, and your background.
Are you learning English to advance your career?
To travel?
To pass an exam?
Based on your answers, the app generates a 100% personalized step-by-step plan for you.
If you need to focus on business meetings, your plan will reflect that.
If you need to focus on casual conversation, your plan will reflect that.
Every single day, the app assigns you tailored activities.
You might get a daily briefing, a short video lesson from me or a grammar exercise, but it's adapted specifically to you.
And the coolest part?
The app learns.
As you complete activities and track your habits and mood, the app updates your plan.
It's constantly calculating the best next step for you and your journey.
This level of personalization is simply not possible in a traditional classroom or a generic classroom language learning app.
Another benefit is that the app forces you to be an active learner, and this is a key component of my teaching philosophy.
I believe that the best learners, the most successful learners, are the ones who are active learners.
You are not just consuming information passively.
You are actively going after the information.
You are curious about the English language, and that's how you improve.
Why do I say that the app forces you to be an active learner?
Because we focus on quality, not quantity.
What does that mean?
It means that every day you're going to have a handful of activities to do.
You're going to have the topic that you're going to be covering for the day and five to seven activities that you have to complete that day.
It's not 20 plus activities that you're going to have to do.
It's just a handful of select activities.
Quality over quantity.
But here's the thing.
If you are busy that day and you don't have more time to dedicate your studies, that is perfect.
You can just spend 15 to 20 minutes doing the activities for the day and then you're done.
But maybe you are a little bit more motivated that day and you want to study more.
Or maybe you have more time to do some extra practice.
What can you do?
No problem.
You can just talk to the AI coach that is built inside the app and ask the coach to to generate extra practice on the topic you want.
For example, imagine today's topic was about the difference between present perfect and past perfect.
You have gone through the five or seven activities of the day, you're done, but then you go, man.
I think I need to practice present perfect and past perfect more.
That's all right.
Go to the AI coach and ask look, give me two more extra exercises for me to practice present perfect and past perfect and add them to my daily activities.
Boom.
Done.
So now, instead of five activities for the day, you're going to have seven, eight or how many you need.
What about speaking practice?
Maybe you want to role play a conversation about a specific topic.
No problem.
Go to the AI coach in the app and ask something like generate a speaking activity for me to practice English in casual conversations and add it to my daily activities.
Boom.
Done.
Done. you have another extra activity to do.
You see.
So that's why I think the app forces you to be an active learner because yes, you do the minimum that we recommend you do that day.
But if you want more, you got to ask for it.
You got to be specific and search for what to do next.
That's beautiful because it forces you to take initiative on your learning.
Finally, Another benefit is confidence through feedback.
Most people stay stuck at B1 because they are afraid to speak.
They don't have anyone to practice with, and when they do speak, they don't get corrections.
In the B2 Edge app, you have a real-time scenario coach.
You can talk to the AI coach at any time.
It uses a native-like voice, so it feels like a real conversation.
You can ask it to generate a speaking activity for you on the spot, Just like I mentioned.
Imagine you have a job interview coming up.
You can tell the app, I have an interview for a marketing role.
Help me practice and add it to my daily activities.
And then you have the role play ready for you to do.
You get instant feedback on your pronunciation and fluency.
Just ask the coach for it.
And you can even submit written texts, handwritten or typed, and get detailed corrections.
And if you ever have a question, I don't know, maybe you are confused about a grammar rule or a specific word.
You have the 24-7 ask your coach feature.
You just type your question and you get an instant accurate response based on my teaching data.
With this app, you have a powerful resource on your hands.
The limit here is only your imagination.
I truly believe this app has everything you need to leave the intermediate plateau behind.
It combines a structured B2 curriculum with a smart, caring and personalized coach that is with you every step of the way.
