First day of school.
The day has come.
All right.
Junior year in America.
What we got going on?
Numero r letter r coffee, only the best.
Yeah, what do you want to say?
I made boba last night and drinking it.
He's drinking boba for breakfast.
Well, i'm making coffee, my fork Energy power, motivation.
Yeah.
How's your boba tea?
Oh, Selena got a haircut.
The channel hasn't seen that yet.
And it looks really good.
Let me do a 360 dance moves.
We got the food.
It's gonna be junior year.
We should do this daily.
It's funny to watch for our neighbors.
It is funny because it's awesomeness when i say good morning, all right, so none of you really know.
But um, i have like a 20 pound filmish giant, aka a rabbit.
Um, If you want me to do a video on him, let me know.
He's a pretty cool pet.
Kind of like a mix of cat and dog.
He's litter box trained.
Yeah.
And his name's Slumper.
And he just wants to say hello and good morning.
You thirsty?
To a swath.
To a swath.
We're gonna let Thumper eat.
If you want to see more of my rabbit, let me know in the comments.
Leave a like, you know.
I'll listen to whatever you guys want.
I'm not doing jury duty today.
I made a meme.
Waking up and realizing you actually have to go to school today.
Follow me on Instagram.
Right?
They should.
Nah.
Don't go on social media because it breaks depression.
I don't know.
Alright, I have to finish making my lunch.
Oats, clip bar, and then like a little kale salad.
Alright.
Oh.
Oh!
That was like a 360.
There we go.
I love you.
Have a good day.
Bye-bye.
Have a good one.
Enjoy being back.
I love you too, sweetie.
There she is.
There she is, folks.
I like to ride to school.
You know, it's fast.
It's easy.
Economical.
There is no going back now.
I got the big camera out.
We're at school.
I just locked up my bike.
Yeah.
Benny Benkern.
What's up?
Welcome to Chapel Hill Construction Zone, dude.
Yeah, welcome to our school.
School's kind of a stretch.
It's kind of wrecked.
Not quite a school.
It's basically under construction, as you can see.
So our school's kind of like weird.
We got to call it something other than that.
This is documentary.
And I don't want to go at all.
I like your shoes.
I like the fit.
Thank you.
Can you get my fit?
Yeah.
My fit?
It wasn't my fit.
So if this is your first day of school, I just need to give you a little bit of advice.
So the advice is basically to have fun and talk to new people in your classes.
Sit next to someone new.
What do you want to say?
Hey guys, first day of school.
It's got to come here, this one.
This year you need to work hard and have fun.
Work hard.
What are your tips?
I would say just be yourself.
Be yourself and don't let anyone else take it.
Getting my schedule out here, authenticating.
What we're taking this year, 10 APs.
First period, we're going to, where is it?
We're going to our fourth first, so I'm going to room 133.
Catch me in room 133.
What's your first period?
My first period is Kroll English, but fourth I have study hall.
So Max, this is your first day back to American high school.
How is this different from your first day of French high school?
Well, first of all, there's not even like walls.
I can just like walk into school, go into the front door.
That's different.
In France, there's like a giant wall.
You have to use your identity card to get in.
Basically, in American school, you can walk right in, go to your class.
It's very casual, chill.
Yeah, no one is smoking cigarettes.
That's different.
Everyone looks different.
There's school buses.
They didn't exactly have those in France.
Those are kind of like the big noticeable things.
People didn't have, like, buses in France.
Like, how do people get to school usually?
Well, there were buses, but it was like a city bus.
In America, there's school buses just for the school, not for the city.
Kids also walk and bike.
I took a private jet here to school this morning, but, um... He rode his bicycle to school.
I care about the environment, so I like I'm actually heading to class now because I'm not trying to be late.
It's, um, entrance to the door.
I think it's, like, very... It's my idea, though.
I'll see you later Yeah.
Nice to meet you.
Hope yourself to a note card and I have a worksheet for you, but I don't have it out yet.
So far so good.
You're finding where you need to go and all that?
Yeah.
I have a first period here for psychology, so I left my water bottle.
Oh, that's yours.
Okay, cool.
I wondered whose that was.
Yeah.
Who are you?
I'm in history.
This is where I also have AP psych.
Look at all the $2 euros I can have.
It's rotted.
Flex silly.
Out here eating kale with a spoon.
In America, school lunches suck.
So no one eats school lunch.
Some people do, but a lot of people don't because it sucks.
So I'm out here eating lunch.
In a teacher's classroom, that's where we eat.
Because our school is under construction.
Yeah, anyways, this is lunch in America.
I talked to you guys in the morning.
I was optimistic, but it has not been going well at all.
And I am not optimistic anymore.
All right, Max.
So what's going on today?
We just finished four periods, and now we're at lunch.
And then after lunch, we have three more periods.
Lunch is like 45 minutes.
In France, it was like two, three hours.
So lunch is very short in Americana.
Honestly, probably one of the best and worst spots today is lunch because it goes by so fast.
But what's good?
The lunch goes by super fast and it sucks and we get like no time to eat or do anything fun.
Um, but it is chill.
I mean in france, like could you have this In France?
Could you have like an opportunity to like go anywhere and do stuff?
Or what did you do at lunch?
You walk in the city.
Like, at lunch, you have two to three hours.
The city's, like, five minutes away.
You can do whatever you want.
You go back home.
I'm trying to do the vlog, bro.
What's up?
This is Andre.
Nice to meet you guys.
Andre's my neighbor.
He lives up the street.
He's a cool guy.
Let's just put you on camera.
Hey, guys.
What do you want to say?
What do you want to let the people know?
Be kind to yourself and others.
Show them.
Show them.
Three, two, one, action.
Hey, guys.
Simon Asher Cook here.
I'm single.
Ready to flamingo.
Ready for mingle.
I want this.
Catch you later.
2,000 subscribers.
Nice job, Max.
Thank you.
Am I allowed to be in it?
Yeah.
You told me you liked Lucy?
Yeah.
We need all your papers.
Maxime.
Pre-calculus 164.
Olivia.
They're just around here and like also it's like any place.
Alright, bye.
See ya.
Yeah, this essentially concludes my first day of junior year at an American high school.
As you can see, it's under construction.
There are sports teams going on right now, kind of like field hockey.
We got a soccer game tonight.
Heading to cross country right now.
Practice is just right over here.
That's where the track is.
So yeah, thank you for coming along.
Adios.
It's hot in here.
That's what we're trying to get.
You can say hello really quick.
This is our track.
I missed you.
Hi, Mitchell.
Because you're in it.
Who's your math teacher?
