Hi.
Happy Pi Day.
Yes, that's right.
All week I have been celebrating the circumference of a circle by eating round baked goods, specifically pie.
I'm Carly Q from Who and Wow Mystery Edition.
It's Pi Day, and I am absolutely here for it.
But I am not here to just serve up some pie.
I am so excited to serve up some amazing mysteries from listeners like you.
Recently, my time-traveling elevator dropped me off in the big city of San Francisco at a special event hosted by Emerson Collective, a team trying to make the world a better place.
And I, Carly Q, got to meet amazing kids from the San Francisco Unified School District who had some incredible and sometimes hilarious mysteries of their own.
Together we made the world's shortest mystery podcasts, including the who's, the when's and the wow's of a mystery in their world.
These detectives in training even made up their own clever catchphrases.
You're going to love it.
Roll tape.
I'm your host, Winston.
Let me tell you about myself.
I am a basketball player, and I'm cool.
Today's mystery is a ghost that is sometimes in my house.
This involves my brother, Matthew, and myself, Winston.
It happened recently, and the wild part is that it could help me do my chores.
Here's what I think.
I don't want it to stop helping me.
Like I always say, that ghost will do all my chores.
Hi, I'm your host Derek.
Today's mystery is someone stole my pretzels.
Wow, Ryan stole my pretzels while I was in the bathroom.
Like I always say, I solve your mysteries.
I'm your host, Alexis.
Let me tell you about myself.
I like track and marine biology.
One day I woke up and I went to put my socks on.
Then I opened up the drawer and I put on a pair of socks, but one sock was smaller than the other.
How could that possibly happen?
So I tried putting it on and then I asked my mom if one sock was smaller than the other.
She said yes.
So then I did not know what to do.
Like I always say, the mystery will one day be solved.
Thanks to everyone at Emerson Collective and SFUSD for making this event happen.
And thanks to all of those amazing investigators for sharing their mysteries with us.
So much fun and so many amazing mysteries.
And yet somehow still not enough pie.
Anyway, I bet if you think about it, there are some crazy mysteries in your world right now.
Like, are there space aliens in your house that only your cat can see?
Oh, did someone replace your math book with an exact replica?
Go check.
And who used up all the ketchup and put the empty bottle back in the fridge?
