Awesome!
Hi, we are 5th graders, Joy, Anya, Liz, and Zora.
And we are going to be talking about the Winter Olympic Events.
First of all, who do we think is going to win these amazing Olympic events?
I think Michaela Striffen is going to win the event Alpine Skiing.
And I think Aaliyah Malin from United States is going to win figure skating for the men's.
And for the women's, Kaori Sakamoto from Japan.
I think Chloe Kim is going to win the women's snowboarding competition.
I really hope she wins this for America.
I want Francesco Frederick to win the bobsled for Germany.
We all love winter games.
And are very competitive.
Who do you think is going to win?
Tell us in the comments.
Hi, my name is Kim.
And I'm in second grade.
I am going to tell you about the movie Mighty Ducks.
Mighty Ducks has this man that was an ice hockey player for a hockey team called the Hawks.
When he grew up, he was a coach for a really bad hockey team.
On their first game, they lost 14-0.
The coach took a visit to this man I do not know.
He gave the coach some advice to teach the players.
So he taught the players and they got really good and made it to the championship.
They did awesome courses.
They did some cool plays like the flying Vs. And they won at the last second on a penalty shot.
It's a good movie.
You should watch it.
Hi, my name is Jasmine, and here's the Joke of the Week.
Can you jump higher than a house?
Of course you can.
Houses can't jump.
Hi, my name is Augie and I'm in second grade.
I am going to talk about Sandlot.
Sandlot is a movie.
I like Sandlot because it is super funny.
It also is about baseball.
My favorite character is Yaya.
Yaya is also super funny.
There are more characters. of characters like Hamilton, Smalls, Benny, and Squints.
They call Hamilton Ham.
I did great.
Awesome.
You're killing me, Smalls.
Hi, my name is Alex.
Hi, my name is Rishi.
And we're in third grade.
And we're also going to talk about the Australian Open.
Last week, we made predictions for the Australian Open.
We knew that Alcaraz was going to beat Zverev.
We also knew that Alcaraz was going to win the Australian Open.
But the thing we didn't know Alex, was that the old, 38-year-old Djokovic was going to beat Sinner.
3-6, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
P.S.
Who's the richest tennis player?
Roger Federer.
That was a random thing that popped up on our screen, by the way.
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie.
Oi, oi, oi.
Hi, my name is Oz and I'm in second grade.
I like spiders.
They're my second favorite creature.
My first is a snake.
Spiders have different numbers of eyes.
Some have eight, some have six, and the biggest spider is the size of a dinner plate.
They're called the hunter and spider.
Miss Tarento is not a spider person, but I hope you are.
Hello, my name is My name is Winston and I'm in third grade.
Today I'm going to talk about parrots.
Did you know that some parrots can live to over 100 years old and they don't have vocal cords and instead say stuff with a specialized organ called the syrinx?
They also are very smart and they can use tools, solve puzzles, and understand simple concepts.
Parrots see a UV spectrum, which basically means the sun is whitish-purple for them.
They also can copy what you say.
Cool, right?
Bye!
