They seem to like you a lot.
I would say.
I mean, look at them.
Hi, I'm Sarah Pidgeon.
And I'm Paul Anthony Kelly.
And we're playing Most Likely 2 with Variety.
Most Likely 2 with the cast of Love Story.
John, I want to introduce you to Carolyn Bessette.
Carolyn, this is John Kennedy. most likely to know the most Kennedy history.
I think you make a really good team.
I agree.
When it comes to that sort of knowledge.
I would have to say you probably know more about... The Kennedys in particular?
The Kennedys in particular.
Yes, due to my character.
All those details, yes.
Yes, I agree.
But I think I could hold my own.
What we were trying to accomplish in this series was the interior lives of these very public figures.
So I think that was sort of overarchingly my goal of trying to take in as much as I could about who Carolyn Bessette was and then infuse that knowledge into what might have happened behind closed doors.
So I think that was really my goal.
I don't know if I could really put a finger on one point exactly.
Most likely two, binge an entire TV show in one sitting.
Yeah, I've been watching a lot since we wrapped.
Pluribus, incredible television.
I watched the new Stranger Things, also great.
I've been getting into It, Welcome to Derry.
There was this one I episode, I don't know if you've seen it yet, but pretty gnarly.
And you've seen a couple of this.
I'm all caught up.
I've watched a lot of television in the past week.
Most likely to stay in character when the cameras stop rolling.
Oh, darn, that's a good question too.
I think me.
I think you as well.
But I don't know.
It all dropped pretty fast.
Like in between takes, I think no one was method on this set.
Most likely to improvise on set.
Me.
What was it like working with writer Connor Hines?
That was fantastic.
Yeah, it was such an incredible amount of knowledge about this world and these people.
And just from the moment I got the script, even before I got the whole thing for my audition, I felt like his words were so exciting to get to live in.
They're very easy to drop into.
I found him very invested and protective of these characters.
I think the same way that you become when you are an actor.
It's not a question of if I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
It's a question of if I'm cut out to be Mrs. JFK Jr.
This man is very, very fashionable.
In Carolyn's wardrobe, there was a lot of Calvin pieces that we pulled.
What's so incredible about her and why her fashion is so enduring is that it really is sort of this capsule wardrobe and that so many pieces.
I mean she wore them in such a way because of her essence, which I think is something we tried to really hone in on, as to how do those clothes look on my body and how do I fill them out.
Seeing how her style transitioned from those Calvin Klein days and that work uniform that she had And then as she became more of a public figure later in her life, was so exciting.
From Calvin in the 90s to its newest collections.
I think it's just such an incredible line and house.
And yeah, it was wonderful to get to wear some pieces.
Most likely to be the editor of a magazine.
I don't know if I would ever do that.
Do you?
It would probably be me, I think.
Yeah?
Yeah.
Yeah, it would be you.
Yeah, sure.
We'll just go with that.
You have some experience now.
Yes.
In having those hallways at George.
Totally.
George Magazine was at the turning point of political commentary, as we know it.
Nowadays, it would have been more relevant than ever.
Yeah, it's a shame it didn't make it.
Most likely too, forget a line at the end.
I think me there were certainly times where we were laughing and couldn't get it.
Couldn't get it back for a minute.
Yeah, there were quite a few times like i was, i slipped, there wasn't rubber on the bottom of my shoes and almost fell right on my butt um, and like loud noises, i think sometimes i am quite jumpy and i think sometimes that can.
He caused me to sort of go up.
I think eight was pretty difficult for that, but our workload was incredibly large.
It was a big episode.
It was a big episode.
Get ready.
Most likely to get mobbed by the paparazzi.
They seem to like you a lot, I would say.
I mean, look at them.
They were intense scenes.
Being surrounded by the paparazzis or people that played the paparazzis.
Your senses are so heightened and you almost collapse into yourself.
They were tough and very real.
And if that was their life day in, day out, oh my gosh.
Yeah.
No thank you.
About to say that I feel like the intensity of someone who's inhabiting a world that's fabricated for the sake of television.
In those moments I think it gave me an appreciation for what that intensity must have felt like without the safety of an AD right there.
The whole world will be watching you.
They were intense.
It really made you understand just how hunted I think at some points I felt.
Most likely to have the best decorated trailer I thought you did a good job with your dressing room.
What was my dressing room?
Yeah, you put your cats up on the wall.
Yeah, my cat and my dog.
Your cat and your dog.
Yeah.
Yours had a lot more personality than mine, I think.
I had this old fruit basket from some day that we did the photo shoot for the.
I also had that fruit basket situation.
The world's tiniest apple sat in that basket until we wrapped, and we did that shoot in Like August.
I think it was August.
I think so, yeah.
Yeah, so three months later.
You kept an apple in there?
It was just so small, I couldn't get rid of it.
It didn't mold or anything, it just got a little wrinkly.
Most likely to live in Tribeca.
My affinity for that neighborhood grew the more time we spent down there.
I've always loved Tribeca.
I guess the answer's... What are some of your favorite spots in Tribeca?
Well, Walker's is a good spot.
I've been there quite a few times beforehand.
And then we get to recreate some things in there.
You know, Bubby's is great.
The pancakes.
The pancakes are very good.
Most likely too.
Read reviews of the show after it comes out.
You know what?
I tend to be overly curious, but I think I might have turned a page on that.
Morbid curiosity is dead.
Most likely to listen to music on set.
I listen to a lot of music on set.
I think you.
I really did like a deep dive on 90s alternative and stuff because I thought that that was kind of a John thing.
Not that I didn't listen to it already, but I really kind of stuck with that.
And it really got me into the mood.
Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Local H. Yeah, things like that.
Tool.
Yeah.
