Welcome back to new video guys.
Today i'm with my friend from canada and we're going to be learning english using comprehensible input here at the chiang mai zoo.
Hey guys, my name is Aptin.
So I'm friends with World Cup Free University.
We both studied business at U of A. So I'm just traveling Thailand right now.
Just recently graduated, so traveling Asia for a little bit.
And then we decided to link up here and we've been traveling together for a week.
But sadly, this is the last day.
So I think the zoo is going to be our last stop.
But yeah, we'll see how it goes.
We're going to check it out now.
Where are you from, Aptin?
So I was born in Iran, went to school there, but then moved to Canada for university.
So I've been living there for maybe seven years now.
Yeah, I met Afton second year of uni is when I met Afton.
That was like five, six years ago.
And then we've been friends ever since.
And now he came to Thailand, so we met up here.
Also, you guys know, I was an exchange student at Yonsei in Korea and he was also an exchange student after I went.
What was your experience like?
I loved it.
I did one exchange before that in France to experience Europe, but the one I did in Seoul, at Yonsei, was just a thousand times better than the experience I had in France.
So yeah, if anyone out there is looking to do any exchanges, I would definitely recommend somewhere in Asia, especially Korea, if you're looking at different options right now.
Yeah, i know we both went to yeonsei and we both loved south korea and it was just a lot of fun.
But now yeah, let's go in, head into the zoo and explore, let's go.
You can see here with the chiang mai zoo and they have a panda there as their kind of like entrance logo, but they don't have pandas here today.
The lady at the front when we bought our tickets, She told us that they don't have pandas because the panda died, unfortunately.
It was a mother panda, a female.
So the mom died and then they sent the baby back to China Chengdu, with the other pandas, because I guess it was here alone.
So unfortunately today, no pandas, but everything else is here.
So let's go.
I got a question for you, Afton.
What animal are you most excited to see today?

Get it in the description or at volcaenglish.com.
I would say I'm most excited to see the polar bears.
The animal I'm most excited to see is definitely the rhino.
Like I know I've seen it already, but it's just such a cool animal.
When you see it, you'll know what I mean.
But apparently this zoo is like super big.
So it's kind of going to be a little bit of a hike today, a little bit of a workout, but that's okay.
You need some exercise, don't you?
I definitely need all that cookies that you've been feeding me.
But no, I think the guy who's most excited to walk is the guy behind the camera, Leon.
Looks like they're baby hippos, dude.
150 meters.
You remember that hippo that went viral?
Which one?
The Thai TikTok.
It's called Mudang.
Like a baby hippo, like one of those, a pygmy hippo.
I've never seen that.
The only famous animal I remember is Harambe.
Oh yeah, Harambe.
Harambe was like this gorilla.
I believe Harambe was a silverback gorilla in like 2015, 2016.
It's actually a pretty sad story about Harambe.
I'll just tell it to you quickly.
There was a little kid that fell into the gorilla enclosure and then Harambe, which was the silverback gorilla's name, took the little kid and was like kind of like petting him, playing with him, I believe.
And yeah, like the kid wasn't really hurt bad.
The kid didn't die, but they ended up putting down the silverback gorilla.
That just means they ended up the silverback gorilla because of that and a lot of people were mad and upset.
They were mad at the parents for not watching their kid.
They were mad at the zoo for, you know, killing this animal.
So it was pretty sad.
But rip harambe it was.
It became like a huge meme and huge everything, But here we have flamingos.
They're supposed to be pink.
I learned this when I was in the Galapagos Islands.
You want to know why they're pink and why these ones currently aren't pink?
Honestly, I have no idea, no.
These ones are like kind of pink, but the reason pink flamingos get so pink is because of their diet.
They eat like these very tiny, like shrimp that have this like certain thing in them, like this certain type of pigmentation that I forget what it's called.
Like, if I get the actual name, I'll put it on screen, but they eat that and it turns them like pink.
The more they eat it, it turns them pink and uh, that's why they're pink, and that's why these ones probably aren't too pink, because they don't have the same diet and those shrimp live in like the shallow water that they swim in okay, and in the mud.
That's why they get it.
And uh, when i was in galapagos, our guy Maybe you should say where that island is.
Yeah, the Galapagos is like an archipelago part of Ecuador.
So it's off the coast of Ecuador.
And it's like people say one of the most like beautiful and natural places in the world.
It's really like preserved in time, a really cool place to see because the islands are like so young and still getting formed.
So a lot of the islands are just like volcanic rock, like i saw some islands that the whole island is just like volcanic rock.
It's crazy.
But let's continue on to the baby hippos.
If you could be any animal for a day, what would you be?
Which animal?
I would be a panda.
No, honestly, probably a bird.
I love flying.
I love being in the skies.
When I see an airplane, I just go like that.
Maybe an eagle so I could fly up the mountains, the lakes, get that feeling.
So yeah, I would choose that was gonna say something similar i would either be a bird or a fish or a fish, because the fish is like the same thing, like any land animal is kind of boring because you can experience that yeah, as a human, but a fish, like imagine being like a deep underwater fish and just swimming, but also you could kind of swim as a human and you can go scuba diving.
But flying, i think flying is like yeah, you could go paragliding Yeah, but unless you're a Red Bull guy, you can't really do that.
So I think I would also be a bird and I would just be whatever the bird is that could fly the highest, fastest and strongest.
From an eagle?
Which I think is an eagle.
Eagle in the Canadian Rockies?
No, it's the falcon.
Falcon?
Falcon, oh.
What would you guys be if you could be any animal for a day?
Let me know in the comments.
Now let's go see the hippo.
Hopefully we can see the baby hippo from here.
The full name is hippopotamus, as you can see over there.
But we normally just say hippo just for short.
Oh, you know, hippos are some of the most dangerous animals in the world.
Did you know that?
Have you ever seen like, you know, this is the first time I see a hippo.
Oh, man.
Dude, look at.
Oh, my God.
They kind of smell like dookies.
Dude, its face is so weird, isn't it?
Have you ever seen that video of like a hippo skeleton?
No.
Like, it looks so crazy.
There's this video of it where they recreate a hippo from its skeleton like they would a dinosaur.
And it looks like the craziest animal you've ever seen.
It's got giant fangs and stuff.
But when you actually look at it, it's just like a round, almost like... piglet creature.
Oh no, but these things are apparently one of the most dangerous animals in Africa or in the world, because they can run really fast.
They can swim incredibly.
Actually they don't swim could be wrong, but apparently they go to the bottom of the water and they run along the water like they run along the bottom, and then they're like fast though they're super fast, they probably swim too.
But if you could see their feet, their feet don't really look webbed like they're meant to swim, but uh, you would think they would float.
No yeah well, i guess that's what i heard.
Pretty sure they go down and then run along the water and then they come up, but they do float, obviously.
But uh, they're just like crazy animals and their bite force is so strong and they look so like peaceful and calm like, look at them dude, they're just like chilling in the water but dude, they could actually kill you like crazy.
So that hippo, just look at that one look, look at it.
Yeah, they want to be fed.
Look at this one, bro.
Look right here.
Oh, I think they're asking for food now.
You can buy food right there.
You see they got bananas.
Look at the size of those teeth, dude.
Those are insane.
Well, I've seen them crush like watermelon in like one bite.
That's definitely a scary animal.
What is your most irrational animal or insect fear?
I have to go with insects, and the insect I'm going to go with is cockroaches.
I know they're not going to do any damage or anything, but I don't know, for some reason, if I see them I'm like I can't be here anymore.
But it's only when I see them in my room.
If I see them fly, there's no way out, because they could come get you anywhere.
Literally what's yours.
I agree.
Like for me, i associate cockroaches with just like dirty, like filth and like also like infection and diseases, like so when you see one on the streets, like by the sewage, it's like okay yeah, yeah.
When you see one in your room, it's like no, especially if it's like a hotel room and you're staying there for like a night and then a cockroach comes out, it's like oh, i don't like cockroaches.
For me, I'll choose an animal like similar to what you said, kind of like that filthy gross, kind of that type of animal.
And for me, it's a rat.
I just think they're like, like dirty.
Like I feel like they bite you one time and like you're going to get a disease and just die the next day.
Specifically the rats in New York City, dude.
But those rats I think are different.
Those are like some like steroid rats.
Steroid rats for me, dude rats, because we live in alberta, which is one of the only places in the world with no rats.
You just put like mouse traps out and then it's fine.
But literally, look right here dude, we found the giraffes.
Dude, seeing these animals up close.
I don't think i've ever seen a giraffe in my life, have you?
I don't think so dude, seeing this animal up close.
They don't even look like real, But I thought they'd be bigger.
Like how does this even evolve?
There is a baby over there.
Like a baby giraffe.
But like just think about how interesting this animal is.
It's like a horse that grew a really long neck and really long legs and then like two horns.
Is that a fact or are you just... I'm just like comparing it like... guess we live in canada where you don't have any like of these exotic animals but just seeing them is honestly like wow honestly even bears and honestly it's not even that long right no this one i think it's not too tall but usually or like long like oh long yeah like lengthwise so start blowing at it and see if it moves wow that's honestly so cool Honestly, this is super cool.
And we have zebras over here.
Come check it out.
Oh, what's the... Madagascar?
Yeah, Madagascar.
Marty?
What's his name?
Marty.
There you go.
You think one of them knows Marty maybe wow oh, and look at the baby giraffe.
But, like overall, you can see how they're all kind of separated like yeah, zebras together, because i mean the zebras can't reach that food and i guess they eat different type of food, but the pronged horn we'll call them is eating the food that the giraffe is dropping.
But these guys are probably used to living together.
Even in nature, you get the zebras and then those guys living together by nature.
It would be interesting to know what these animals think, or if they even think, or all they think is just eat sleep, drink.
Well, they probably haven't seen much in life, they've just been here, so but do you think they learned to coexist by nature or nurture here?
Yeah, probably both, because they're all herbivores and like, really not violent and they're not predators.
These are, like, prey.
They could live peacefully and not, like, fear getting eaten.
I mean, it is a zoo.
Let's keep going.
We still have to see the rhino.
That's gonna be my favorite.
Honestly, I feel like these animals here are an average smaller than what you would see them in like real nature.
Yeah, most likely.
Hmm, like here they could really grow with like non-stop, without like fear of predators, so they could just eat all day.
So maybe here they'd be.
I don't know if they'd be bigger or just fatter.
I guess it also depends on, like their genes, how big they're gonna get.
Is this gonna tell us what was in there?
No, just the zebra and the giraffe.
Low-key, though.
So this is the name.
So none of us had that right.
Holy man, they could get heavy.
900 kgs and they're big.
Oh, wow.
Look at their horns.
I was not expecting that, dude.
900 kilograms.
That's more than the... More than the zebra.
I found an elephant is like a ton or something, right?
Oh dude, elephants are more.
If that thing is 900, elephants are way more easily.
If you had to choose one animal that's like, you know, relatively big.
So we'll say like one animal that's at least to your waist and at least like this wide or this long.
If you had to choose one animal of those dimensions that you would win in a fight, which animal would it be?
If you want to learn faster, get the workbook for this video on my website.
It includes deeper explanations and exercises to help you remember and master what you learned.
And if you get five or more workbooks, you'll get 30% off automatically at checkout.
So go to the description or my website VolcaEnglishcom, that you think you would win if you had to fight it.
Do you guys know what a coyote is?
So in Edmonton, where we're from, we have a lot of coyotes there, which is actually a problem now because they eat our dogs and cats or any pets that we have.
And any like small farm animals, chickens, even like maybe sheep and goats, they'll eat them too.
Especially like they hunt in packs.
So yeah.
So a lot of the times you see them at night or just in the streets anytime, honestly.
In the city?
Yeah, in Edmonton.
I'd see them outside my house, like when I'm walking my dog, yeah.
Oh, wow.
No, I thought you were talking about like in general, I've seen them outside my house.
I've seen them in Kinsman.
Usually you see just one on the street, but if you're looking the trails then you see like multiple of them.
Have they attacked people?
Not people, but they have attacked dogs, because i know like edmonton has like a lot of like like forests and also like the river yeah, the river valley, yeah like the trails are like kind of in the woods so, but i feel like i could beat them in a fight.
Yeah, this is what a coyote looks like, but it is really like kind of like at the knees.
It's like a small some of them.
Some of them do get bigger, but They're like a small, like scruffy dog.
Yeah, no, I'll give you that one.
Unless it bites you, then you're in... Because then it might give you, like, rabies.
I don't know.
I would never fight this animal.
But if I had to choose one to beat in a fight, it would be a giant tortoise.
A giant what?
Giant tortoise.
Those things can get like this big or bigger huge, hundreds of pounds, but they move so slow and they're also like herbivores and non-aggressive.
They're from the galapagos islands or there.
There are a lot of species in the galapagos islands, that one easily so.
So would you just run away or do you actually fight?
Well, if it was like a fight to the death like I don't want to, but we're just talking hypothetically.
That one, I feel like easy, easy win, honestly.
But there I can see the panda sign, but unfortunately no pandas today.
But you can see the map over here of this whole thing.
So we'll go up to the map.
We'll see where we've gone and what we need to do.
Oh, kangaroo.
I feel like we missed that.
Africa zone.
So far, we've just hit the hippopotamus and African animals.
Dude, this thing is huge.
Okay, so we still got a lot to see.
So this animal here is an ostrich.
And it is the biggest bird in the world.
But it can't fly because I guess it evolved to not need to fly because it could just get all its food from the ground.
It is the biggest bird but it can't fly.
And actually i've tried ostrich meat in south africa, because there are so many ostriches in south africa and they have ostrich farms and it's like the meat is like really like dry in my opinion, like dry and sandy.
It's not really a good meat in my opinion.
But i mean, if you want to try it, you can try it.
In my opinion it does not taste like chicken.
Let's go with tiger.
If you were a tiger, which one?
Would you be very thin underweight ideal, overweight or obese?
Okay, take a video of this.
And then take a video of this.
You guys put it in the comments.
Okay, so he would be ideal.
Where would you put me on?
I'd say jacked, if i put myself here, i feel like i would go ideal too, like maybe a little bit more here, not really ideal, but like hey, more ideal than not, and that's okay, that is okay.
Leon, where would you put yourself?
For this guy goes leon, myself as a lion.
I don't know like, where would you put yourself?
I'd call myself a tiger.
Okay, so I think we all know the answer to that.
Anyways, oh, it says I'm here.
Look at the pictures.
This guy is good at hiding.
There's a tiger in here.
Yeah, well, the glass is super dirty.
Yeah, and there's like reflection.
I feel like the only place it could be is over there.
I literally don't see the tiger at all.
Okay, no tiger today.
This, I think, is one of the worst animals to encounter, a hyena, because usually they're in packs.
And imagine being hunted by an animal in a pack, and then they're all just laughing.
You know how they laugh?
They're found in Africa, but specifically this area.
What's in here?
I think it'd be another tiger.
Ah, it's over there.
Is it?
Yeah.
Oh yeah, I see it.
Oh, there's a hyena.
Oh, that's a hyena.
Bro, that's a sad life though.
This guy's just living alone in this.
I doubt he's gonna attack anyone.
You think there are lazy animals just like there are lazy humans?
Imagine if you're a lazy animal and they put you here and you could just be lazy all day, not having to hunt.
Yeah, but I feel like they put you here and then you become lazy.
This guy probably wasn't lazy when he was born.
He just moved.
Oh, that guy's sleeping right now.
Yeah.
Do you think these animals are bored?
Yeah, 100%.
You don't think so?
I agree.
Do you think they're happy?
No.
No?
But what do you think about supporting the zoos?
Buying tickets and then going to a zoo, huh?
Would you be supporting them?
It depends, because sometimes zoos get these animals that can't survive on their own in the wild because they're injured, they're hurt or they lost their parents.
So they had to raise it and then, once you're raised in a zoo, you can't be put back into the wild easily.
They just keep them in a zoo.
It could be good, but if they take animals that couldn't survive alone and that don't really need to be in a zoo and they take it and just put it like put them on a show just for people, just to make money,
Yeah, that's not good.
But I believe this zoo does take care of animals and that's why it's good.
What's your thoughts on that?
You have a different opinion?
No, I think Walker covered the amazing points.
As the great guy he is, he always comes up with great ideas.
You see, I don't know if that's sarcasm or not, but I'll take the compliment.
He's a good guy.
He supports animals.
Oh, you can see better from this angle.
I support animal rights.
That guy doesn't look happy, man.
Well, he just looks like he's sleeping.
What does he do to be tired?
That's the question.
You see that ball there?
Bro, what does my dog do to be tired?
He sleeps all day.
You see that.
You see that buoy there.
Oh, he plays with that.
That's like his punching bag.
And you see this, he has like a dock, like a ramp, and he jumps into the empty pool.
And it's also the middle of the day.
It's like right now yeah, it's almost noon, so that's about to be the hottest time of day, so i think animals usually rest during this time.
Okay, maybe here we have lions.
Let's check it.
You guys answer this too in the comments or take a video of yourself answering this.
Which animal would be the best bodyguard?
Oh, wait.
Okay, look at that.
The black... What is it?
Black tiger?
Did you see it?
Black panther?
Black panther, yeah.
Oh, wow.
Oh, wow.
Honestly, that looks like a good bodyguard.
Look at it.
It just kind of looks like a big cat.
So which animal would be the best bodyguard?
Maybe a bear.
Which bear?
Grizzly bear.
Grizzly bear.
It's big.
It's fast.
You can see the print on him.
Oh, that looks like a female, doesn't it?
Yeah.
Oh wow, it kind of has that like pattern on it.
I thought it would just be pure black.
Wow, that's actually super cool.
Well, you think this guy came to check us out.
Oh yeah, i think that's a girl.
Maybe he's pregnant.
Dude, that literally just looks like a fat cat man, like a big fat cat.
Okay, let's keep going.
It looks like it wants to rest over there.
Dude, you would pet that like it's a cat and then it would just start attacking you.
Well, acts like a cat.
That's it literally.
Well, I mean it is.
It's like the same family, like felines, right?
Yeah, panther.
Panther.
Oh, a leopard.
We're tripping, dude.
It's a leopard.
A black leopard.
So yeah, it had the leopard print.
Okay.
Yeah, because it had this pattern on, but it was black.
Anyways, back to answering the question.
So Afton said a bear would be the best bodyguard.
And me, I would choose an eagle, straight up.
Or is there a third option that's even better?
A shark.
No, gorilla.
Actually, I feel like, yeah, I would go with a gorilla, man.
I could just sit on the gorilla's back.
It'd be like a piggyback, dude.
New choice, gorilla.
Would you stay with your bear or go with a gorilla?
Well, if a gorilla's stronger, yeah then I'm going with a gorilla, a silverback gorilla, though.
What do you guys think which would win in a fight a grizzly bear or a silverback gorilla?
Which one of the two?
Yes, we'll never know.
I feel like this is like a tale of like king kong vs godzilla minus like the atomic power.
Honestly, think a gorilla would win, Because I do think a gorilla is stronger.
And also it has like movement, like hand movement.
Yeah, I think maybe a bear can run faster.
But imagine being a bear and getting like hit in the face by a right hook from a like thousand kilogram silverback gorilla.
I think we have to give it to gorilla.
If gorillas are stronger, bite harder, and have better movement in close range, then it has to be.
That's off.
Fat squirrel, black giant squirrel.
Holy moly.
Are these flying squirrels?
It says right there on that picture.
It's bigger than the ones you have in Edmonton, that's for sure.
Oh, a squirrel.
It's the size of a cat.
Yeah, a squirrel.
Okay, we found the tiger.
It's like it's so hard to see because of the glare, but it's way at the back corner there behind the bamboo.
Dude, and it's just like staring daggers at us.
That thing looks like a painting on the wall.
Literally.
Dude, let's try to see if we could see it better from this side.
Okay.
It was kind of hard to see the tiger, but at least we got to see its face a little bit.
Dude, that thing is like scary.
I know tigers are definitely one of like the scarier big cats.
But that thing, wow.
At least we saw it honestly.
Now I just want to see the line and I'll be happy.
We found the line.
It's literally right in the open now.
Honestly, it doesn't look that big in person.
No, i'm telling you, i think the animals here are smaller.
I think tigers are more dangerous than lions yeah, but yeah, that's a lion, the king of the jungle.
Let's keep going.
So yeah, here you can see the white lion.
He really looks like like a not really like a good line.
Usually they have like the huge, like lion's mane, but here he doesn't and he kind of has like some scars on his face.
No, but you know, I think the difference is like eating Asian food in Europe versus eating Asian food in Asia.
It's like the lions in Africa are obviously going to be more of a lion than Yeah, like if you go on a safari.
But I like how the whole continent of Africa has lions, except for, like here.
Here's the female line.
She's also just resting, but honestly, this looks like a good setup.
This setup is a lot better than the guys.
Like here.
She has white noise.
There's three of them.
Oh yeah, you think they're all married to the same lion.
Oh yeah, usually it's like a pack like that like uh, one male for a bunch of females.
That's why they have to fight other males all, and that's why they need their energy.
Female line, Let's go.
If you had to choose, where would you live in the city?
You know city life urban, metropolis.
Or would you rather live in nature with the animals or like on a farm?
What would you prefer?
I would probably choose the nature, but a more realistic answer, I would probably just say a mix.
Some city like Vancouver, maybe even Calgary.
So close to the mountains, or if it's Vancouver, just by the ocean, by the mountains.
So something like that would be very ideal.
I think that would be the ideal scenario for me.
I do agree with Calgary.
I would not live in Vancouver just because it's so expensive.
Taxes are high and the ocean is freezing cold anyways.
If I had to live in any city in Canada, I would live in Calgary.
If I had to choose between city life or nature life, I lived on a farm my whole life.
I think I've had enough nature living for my entire life.
So I would choose city life.
I like the fast pace, so many people, a lot of different people you can meet every day.
You can go around the city and see something new all the time.
Me city life, for sure.
And like a giant, giant metropolis city like uh seoul bangkok shanghai, like where would you guys prefer to live?
In the city or on a farm, in nature?
What do you prefer?
It doesn't have to be on a farm, but in nature or in a city.
Let me know in the comments.
Okay, so here are the tortoises.
What are those two tortoises doing over there?
Any guesses?
Aptin, would you say you're faster than a tortoise or slower than a tortoise.
I would say I'm faster, 100%.
Would you say you're faster or slower than a hare?
Than a hare?
Like a rabbit, you know, the tortoise and the hare when they raced.
Honestly, rabbits are pretty fast.
I would say yes.
Slower than a rabbit, faster than a turtle.
I feel like you expected a different answer, but I'm very logical.
I don't do ifs, buts, or maybes.
Only absolutes.
He's only black or white.
It's good or it's bad.
Yeah.
Yes or no?
No, maybe.
That's good.
Is he faster than a hare?
No.
Is he faster than a tortoise?
Yes.
I'm faster than you, so I'm faster than all of them, so yes.
Let's keep going.
We only have a few more animals to see here and then we'll be done.
It's just this last section over here.
I swam with these.
It was so nice.
They like swim super fast and they zoom right by you and then they swim with each other.
Also sea lions.
Wow.
These guys look happy.
That guy kind of looks lost.
Those guys up there kind of look like lost.
Bro, low key they got the AC running for them.
Yeah.
Oh, no, that guy looks like he's having a good time.
Penguins.
Oh, you think they could jump out?
Did you know, fun fact... Oh, they're fighting.
Did you know that penguins only ever mate in their entire lifetime with one partner?
So if they die, they'll never, ever get another partner again.
So penguins made for life, which is different than a lot of other animals.
What?
I guess someone's jealous, but it smells like fish, though.
What do you think they eat?
They eat fish.
Oh yeah, a leopard seal killer whale yeah, leopard seals are like a big, you know, killer of penguins, and i know that from uh, what's that movie, happy feet?
Have you watched that happy?
Yeah, Leopard seal.
Killer whales as well.
Didn't Happy Feet have a song that was famous?
No idea.
Happy feet, happy seat, happy meat.
So we found the Asiatic black bears.
Well, black bear because there's only one.
And you can see he's just sun tanning over there on that rock.
What do you think of that, Afton?
I wonder if you could leave that bear in nature.
Bro, look at that thing.
That thing ain't surviving nothing.
But I see the sign up here that says elephants.
This one is the Malaysian sun bear.
There you go.
Oh, Malayan.
Malayan sun bear.
Maybe that's why it likes to suntan, because it's a sun bear.
That is a good observation, actually.
Oh, here are the goats.
These are the ones we get in Canada.
These are like mountain sheep.
Look at them, dude.
They could literally climb like a cliff, bro.
Have you seen the videos of them falling?
Yeah, it's like that's the craziest thing.
They just yeah, but don't.
We don't focus on the fall, we just focus on the climbing.
These things can climb like any cliff dude.
It could be like the tiniest ledge.
These are the world's best rock climbers, best boulderers.
You can say so.
This is the last thing.
We're gonna see the asian elephant one kilometer away, so let's start walking there.
You know that elephants, I'm pretty sure, look at people the way you look at a baby like oh, so cute.
Yeah, I actually did know that.
I think that's a super common fact.
I don't know where I heard that, but I've definitely heard it somewhere.
But yeah, this is an elephant, an Asian elephant.
What's the elephant eating, though?
Kind of looks like sugar cane, like really young sugar cane.
And what would you call an animal who survives on greens and vegetables versus one that eats meat?
So an elephant that just eats, like you know, plants and stuff.
It's called a herbivore or an herbivore, depending on how you pronounce it.
And an animal that eats just meat, like a lion, is called a carnivore.
But then us humans that eat both are called omnivores.
But yeah, that one looks like a baby, a little bit younger.
I saw elephants in South Africa, and we walked with them, and they're way taller than this.
Those elephants are super tall.
But they're just like friendly giants, man.
They're so nice.
But it's funny how you say they look at humans as their babies.
Like a baby, yeah.
Yeah, but the thing is, for example, in places like this, it's the humans taking care of them.
So you think the elephants don't see it that way, that they're being taken care of by humans.
Well, i think it's more like they see them like cute, like you see a baby puppy or like oh it's so cute, but then the really cute thing takes care of you.
So it is like kind of a weird dynamic.
They just eat man.
Well, let's continue on to the very end, because i think this is one of the last stops.
If you could have one of these characteristics so either the intelligence of that monkey over there or the strength of a silverback gorilla.
But one thing you need to consider is that the intelligence of the monkey over there is the highest of any monkey out there.
And monkeys are known to be intelligent.
So would you choose that or would you choose the strength of the silverback?

I would choose the strength of a silverback gorilla, and then I would go join the UFC beat everyone, get a couple hundred million dollars, like Conor McGregor, beat everyone up and then, with that money, hire the smartest people in the world to do whatever I wanted.
I think we found a good answer.
Yeah.
Strength of a silverback gorilla.
Join the UFC.
Fight people, get a couple hundred million dollars.
Hire smart people.
Now repeat that five times.
Backwards?
Backwards.
Double it to give it to the next person.
Repeat that five times backwards.
And put it in the comments.
Facts.
But yeah, I think now we reached the end of it.
So what was your favorite animal you saw?
Ooh, I think the hippopotamus was probably the most interesting because I had never seen any.
Second, I would put the black panther.
I think it was a leopard.
Leopard, I would put that because it just looked very interesting.
True.
And then number three, the bear was kind of funny.
It was.
It didn't seem like the... Wasn't too much going on upstairs, but... Didn't seem like what you would expect from a bear. no that's a friendly bear yeah that was a friendly pair friendly bear yeah what was yours dude i love the giraffe the giraffe was so cool giraffe number one hippo number two because hippos are just so cool unfortunately we didn't see a rhino so number three the elephant elephants are just an amazing creature but those were the top three my top three and aptin's top three yeah And I guess we didn't catch it on camera, but one highlight of the day was the polar bears.
We'll just put a photo of them here so you guys can see.
The polar bears were amazing, I agree.
Super nice, super nice.
You will become fluent in English.
