Camden is one of the most popular and most touristy one of the most touristy areas of london, So we're going to have a look around.
So let's go take a look around Camden.
So here we are in Camden Town.
As you can see, it is absolutely heaving with people.
It is absolutely heaving.
There are so many people here.
There are sirens going off.
It's absolutely heaving with people here today.
And that's no surprise, because Camden Town is one of the most popular areas in London.
Let's go have a look and see why it's popular.
Okay, let's go.
So in Camden there's a few different markets.
This is one of the main ones.
So let's go take a look at Camden market here today.
What is going on here?
As you can see, in the queue behind me, we have a lot of people who are queuing up for some kind of event at the electric ballroom.
The electric ballroom is quite a famous place to go.
Everybody is dressed in a kind of alternative style, right?
We have some people dressed in a kind of goth, goth style.
Some are more, you know, kind of emo, emo style, but everybody's queuing up.
They're queued up right now.
These people are queued up and they are getting ready to go into some kind of event.
Anyways, over to the market.
Here we have lots of different t-shirts with the faces of famous people.
This is, of course, the late Queen Elizabeth right here.
I think this is quite an old picture of her, when she was a bit younger.
Now, this here is the famous English singer, Amy Winehouse.
It is, isn't it?
And I think I could be wrong.
I think that Amy Winehouse grew up around this area of Camden.
At least she definitely grew up in London.
I know that much.
So this is Amy Winehouse.
Know what's going on with?
I believe this is the queen with a.
Is this a freddie mercury queen?
A mix of freddie mercury from queen and the queen of england?
So he's wearing a crown, but but he's also got a mustache.
See, he's got a moustache right here.
So this is Mike Tyson.
Obviously he's a famous boxer, so if you want a t-shirt with a famous face on it, then you can come here.
So Do you know who this gentleman here is?

This is of course Eminem.
He's a famous rapper, American rapper.
Do you know who these guys here are?
This is obviously the famous shot of the Beatles in Abbey Road. the greatest band ever, apparently.

So we're just going to take a look around this little market.
As I said before, Camden is famous for its little markets like this.
You know, this is a let's go this way actually no, let's go this way.
What do we got here these?
Here we have lots of records, right?
These are called vinyls.
So if you're the kind of person who likes to buy vinyl records, you know You like to do things old school.
You're the kind of person who likes to do things a bit old school.
So here we have, I think this is the Kanye West, the new Kanye West album, The Life of Pablo.
I am right, aren't I?
Here we have Led Zeppelin.
So if you want a really old school style of record, this is another band who are from London.
Okay, so lots of famous British bands obviously came from London.
So pretty cool little, cool little stall, just a nice little stall here.
Actually, at the moment the stall is unmanned, stall is completely unmanned.
There's nobody here.
If you wanted to buy something, you can't because there's nobody here.

What we've got here is some coasters, right coasters.
Coasters are for putting your mug down, on putting your drink down, and we've got some cool coasters for six pounds each, or three for 15 pounds or four for 18 pounds deal.

However, it is not actually raining yet, so you have to be thankful that at least in one of my videos it's actually not raining.
The last two days we had good weather, we had sun what a little bit of sun.
But as soon as i come out to film, the sun hides away.
I think the sun has a personal grudge against.
Oh, i think the sun has a personal grudge against english sponge, because every time we make a video for english sponge, the sun just goes away.
So yeah, the sun does not like this YouTube channel.
So we're here today at the Dublin Castle, this pub here.
This pub is actually quite famous.
It's famous because it's a grassroots venue.
What do I mean by grassroots?
I mean that people come here before they are famous.
They come when they are unknown.
For example, the kaiser's chiefs, the kooks, amy winehouse and blur and other famous bands like that.
They came here before they were famous and they performed here at the dublin castle.
So it's kind of like a famous grassroots go ahead.
Yeah, no problem, it's a famous grassroots venue, so people come here before they're famous and we've had so many famous musicians started in this pub.
So yeah, helping out my pal james with his project and um, you know, making sure that things keep ticking over with that, because that's just the kind of person i am, don't you know?
Uh helping, caring kind of guy, and so yeah, it's the man of the community and um, you know, just enjoying the, the unique scenery of this road which you won't really see in many other places.
Basically, it's pretty loud in here.
Oh nice, They've got light up.
T shirts say charging battery.
It's cool.
But like the sound waves of the music sound waves playing.
So as you can see, when I talk, the t shirt lights up.
This t-shirt lights up.
Chinese buffet.
What's a buffet?
A buffet you can eat as much as you want, all you can eat.
So in the on this sign, if you are under one meter and three 30 centimeters, you get half price.
But if you are a tall child, then you don't get half price.
And what if you're a small adult?
What if you're an adult who's one meter tall?
I know that's not very common, but there's probably, you know.
But then I guess you're not a kid, are you?
£13.90 in the middle of London for an all-you-can-eat buffet is an excellent price.
That's for sure.
As you can see, Camden is still heaving.
It is absolutely heaving with people and tourists and locals really just all kinds of people.
It is one of the busiest areas of London.
It's only a thursday, it's not even the weekend, but it's still absolutely heaving with people.
That's right.

Hello, how you doing good looks like these two gentlemen are squaring up.
They're squaring up right now and they may be about to have a bit of a confrontation.
This here is the Camden lock, so you can see down here we have one level of water and then over there the water goes up see, and then we have these doors.
We have this set of doors.
So a lock is basically a place on a canal where you can go up and down.
This is how you can go up and down on a canal.
It's a really cool thing and it's called a lock.
It says Camden Lock over there because of this.

Okay, we're going to have a little look around.
As you can see it's jammed here.
Absolutely heaving with people.
Lots of I think students, maybe students on a trip from somewhere.
I think they're from Brazil.
If you're watching from a country like Taiwan or Korea or Vietnam or Thailand or something like that, I'm sure you know what bubble tea is.
So yeah, bubble tea is awesome.
This is a statue of the famous, uh british pop singer, amy white.
Go ahead, no problem.
Amy winehouse and uh.
Why did they build a statue of?
Go ahead guys, you don't have to stop to keep going.
Why did they build a statue of amy winehouse here?
Well, because she grew up in these parts.
This is where she grew up.
This is where her early music career started.
Amy Winehouse is actually part of the famous 27 Club.
The age 27 club, it's not a very good club.
There are a lot of famous musicians who unfortunately passed away at the age of 27, including Kurt Cobain.
And who's the other one again, jimmy?
Including kurt cobain and jimi hendrix, who both also died at the age, who both also died at the age 27.
So yeah, they built this statue of um amy winehouse to remember, remember her, her existence here.
So yeah, let's go.
So right now we're in a place called umbrella alley.
Now you may be wondering why is it called umbrella alley?
Well, if you just look up here, i think you will understand the reason why they call it umbrella alley because it's an alley, a small alley, But there are absolutely tons of umbrellas on the ceiling.
Absolutely tons of umbrellas hanging down from the ceiling.
Hence why it's called Umbrella Alley.
Right there are loads of umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, hence the name umbrella alley.
And so, as you can see, there are shops either side of this alley t-shirts, other clothes uh, leather bracelets.
Down here you can buy a leather bracelets with gods.
Everything here in this shop is made of leather.
That's why it's called the real leather workshop, because everything in this shop is made of leather.
