I have always wanted to film a kitchen makeover video.
I actually planned this video so many times at my last two apartments, but I never ended up filming it.
So now that I moved, I knew this was one of the first things I wanted to do.
So I have been looking at so many inspiration pictures to figure out what aesthetic I want my kitchen to have.
I'm going for a really clean, organized, and minimal look.
I don't want too much going on, but I definitely wanna add some color and personality and just make it more me.
And I've also been accumulating so many boxes that I haven't opened yet, filled with organizers, decorations and a few appliances I have wanted for so long.
I'm so excited for this video, so let's get started with my absolute dream appliance that I finally bought.
Ever since I moved out for the very first time, I knew I wanted one of these.
Oh my God.
I finally bought a Smeg.
I did not order the blue one.
Luckily, I've watched so many unboxing videos of these products that I know they all come in a blue box.
So I didn't have the jump scare thinking that they sent me the wrong color.
Wait, this is so...
I could cry.
I cannot tell you how long a Smeg appliance has been on my wishlist.
I was so torn between the toaster, the kettle, the coffee maker, and the espresso machine.
Those are my absolute favorites.
And I also was really torn between getting the cream color or the pink.
This would seem like a really easy answer because I love the color pink, but I wanted this to match my kitchen forever.
And I feel like the cream color is just so timeless.
It's so clean and pretty looking.
I just know this would be my most used appliance.
I have wanted my own Aesop soap for so long.
So I bought this little kit.
I have never been this excited for hand soap ever.
So this kit came with hand soap.
I also bought this hand lotion.
I figured I could keep them together.
Like after I wash all the dishes, I can use my hand soap and then my hand cream.
I also bought this room spray that will be so nice for in the kitchen.
And it came with this bar of soap.
So my kitchen is going to be really fancy now.
I don't know.
Every time I wash my hands at my friend's house, they have this soap and it's like such a luxurious experience.
I love it.
So that's really what convinced me to get it from my house.
It's honestly so nice.
I don't know.
I could be losing my mind.
This is definitely unnecessary.
And this other box goes with this also.
So I wanted to make it really cute by my kitchen sink.
I have a little tile coaster from this same artist, but I have always loved these trays.
It's just a really simple, pretty design, but it looks so clean.
And I thought, why don't I put this tray next to my sink?
I can put all of my nice soaps and hand products on it.
Next I wanna start to organize all of these drawers and cabinets.
I've always loved the look of super organized dishes and utensils and just everything having a place.
As I've talked about on my channel, I'm really trying to use everything I have, and being super organized helps so much with that, because I only wanna have the essentials in my house.
This is what my silverware drawer looks like right now.
I have this little silverware drawer, but it flies around and it doesn't fit everything that I wanna keep in here for you.
So i was looking for a wooden utensils organizer, and it took me forever to find the perfect one.
That actually could not be more perfect.
This is crazy.
The wood matches perfectly with the drawer.
So let's start organizing this.
I love how this came out.
It's a huge difference from what it looked like before.
This is everything I actually use on routine.
I have all of my silverware right here.
I have my sharper knives, chopsticks, straws, and then this is more of the random stuff.
I love this organizer.
It's so nice to be able to see everything.
Well, I thought it would look a little prettier, but I bought this glass olive oil container a while ago.
I think it's so cute and I thought it would look a little better in here, but it's cute enough.
I'm excited to finally use it.
Next, I want to organize all of my dishes.
It honestly doesn't look bad in here at all.
I have all of my plates, bowls, and mini plates, but I have a vision for this.
So I'm going to organize this next.
I love how it's organized and put together, but it's also kind of empty.
I do not want to fill up these cabinets all the way.
I only want to keep the essentials and things that I actually use every day.
So this feels very minimal and really good.
Love how it looks.
It's so satisfying.
And here are all my cups.
Same thing.
These need to be organized.
Yeah, I'm pretty happy with this.
I love how this came out.
It just feels really good seeing it all organized and everything has a space.
So I think what this room is really missing is a rug.
It took me forever to find the perfect rug for this room, but I'm really excited to see how it looks.
So I knew I wanted a large rug to fill the entire kitchen.
I just envisioned myself doing the dishes or putting away groceries or cooking something.
And I want this rug to completely cover the entire room.
And then with the design, it took me forever to find one that I really liked.
I think the colors in here are perfect because they really compliment the cabinets.
My pots and pans are actually this like orangey color, but then with all the other colors and the swirls and shapes, I just think it looks really pretty and organic and it adds a lot to the room.
So I am so happy with this choice.
It looks so cute.
And this is what the kitchen looks like so far.
I am so happy with the progress we made today.

Next, we're gonna focus on the fridge.
I am so excited to have a larger fridge.
In my last apartment, the fridge was so narrow.
I couldn't see anything in the back.
With this larger fridge, it's so nice, but it's also inspired me to organize my fridge a lot better.
I've always wanted to get those clear containers so that I could see everything.
That way, everything is used.
So I'm gonna clean out the entire fridge, wipe it down, and then I'm gonna restock at the grocery store and organize it so it looks super perfect.
Here is the grocery haul for today.
I am so excited.
I needed this so bad.
It's so nice to see so much color in my grocery haul too.
It's always such a good feeling.
I have everything from produce to snacks spices, random things.
I needed to restock in my pantry ingredients, especially for dinner.
A lot of energy drinks.
I am so excited for everything.
It looks so good and it's making me so hungry.
It always helps to go to the grocery store hungry.
That's for sure.
I have always dreamt of having those super organized refrigerators, especially in these clear containers and this drink stand.
I knew I wanted to get slide out drawers because I know that's going to be the most convenient instead of getting bins and like putting everything in it.
This doesn't even look real.
This is so crazy.
I have always wanted my fridge like this.
This looks like a display.
This is looking so good.
You guys, it is looking so good in here.
I didn't know if everything would fit like this, but it looks so perfect.
Everything's fitting so well.
I still have so much storage.
I love it.
And next we have this drawer.
So my plan for this drawer is to put all of my spices.
I have been loving the idea of having a super organized spice drawer, specifically because at my last apartment I just had all of my spices like thrown into a drawer but I did not keep it clean or organized or anything.
So it was so disgusting.
There were so many crumbs and like everything was built up and like crusted on the bottom of the drawer.
Super great, I know.
So I want that to be very different with this drawer.
I think you know where I'm going with this.
I bought so many little containers for my spices.
These are really nice because they're glass.
They have the wooden top, which is just my favorite, and it matches my entire kitchen.
It also has these little tops, so you can use it as a shaker, and this funnel, which is perfect, because I'm gonna put all of my spices in these, and I love that it came with labels also.
And then I also bought these acrylic racks so that they can nicely sit in my drawer.
I'm realizing this is insane.
I do not have even close to as many spices that I can fit in here.
And this is what my spice drawer looks like right now.
So anything is an improvement. a lot more spices than I thought I would.
I honestly only thought I had like five different spices, but this is pretty good, but I'm nowhere close to filling up this entire drawer.
Okay, this did turn out really cute though.
I love how they look in all of these bottles.
It's just so satisfying to see all of them match and it's gonna be really easily accessible, since my oven is right here.
I am so excited for these and it's gonna be so fun to keep filling them up as I get more spices.
And this is actually my first time shopping at HomeGoods, which is crazy.
The reason I avoid stores like this is just because I always end up coming out with things that I don't actually need.
And I get so excited, especially with all of the kitchen stuff.
Like I could shop in these aisles forever and just look at every little thing.
But today I actually went in with a list of things I wanted to get and I ended up finding everything I needed.
This store is so dangerous though.
I could spend way too much money here.
They have everything.
I could have been in there for hours just looking at every little thing.
I don't know if I should go back there.
That was crazy.
At first I didn't even get a cart because I was like, if I have to carry everything, I'm gonna get less.
But they had so many things that I was looking for.
So I'm so happy with everything I got.
I got these utensils.
I've been wanting to get a new set.
They are silicone, which probably should have gotten just wood.
I loved the wood and then this beige color.
It matches my kitchen really well since i started redoing it.
I found this mug.
I did not need it, but it's a really good size and it's really cute.
And i also found this plate, which i fell in love with immediately.
It's a little snack plate and it has all of these sections for each thing.
I'm always so bad at putting together cheese boards, so i figured this would probably help me.
I bought this stainless steel cleaner.
I bought this bowl that I'm so excited for.
I really needed to get a new fruit bowl, but I couldn't find any that I actually liked.
This one is so cute because it's this woven basket, but it has a glass bowl in the middle.
So it'll be really easy to keep clean. clean.
One of my favorite parts of going out to eat, especially at a cafe, is when they have cute patterned plates.
I don't know what it is.
It just makes me so happy.
And I always wanted to have something like that at my house.
When I saw all of these at home goods, I was like, this is actually perfect.
Like this is what I want.
I want a ton of mix match plates and dishes.
I just think it's so much more fun.
I'm so excited.
I love the patterns, especially like this one is going to be so cute for spring.
And I think it's going to be so fun to layer them like this.
So this is the complete haul.
I am so excited for everything.
It's finally time to put together this section.
This is one of my favorite areas in my kitchen.
It's literally where i start my day every single morning, because this is where i have my coffee pot.
I want to make it like a cute coffee station, but i also want it to be really decorative, especially with these shelves.
I've had this mug tree for so long.
I definitely want to keep it next to my coffee pot.
I'm gonna put some of my favorite mugs on here.
I just bought these flowers, which are so pretty.
They're very spring, so I definitely want to put these in the kitchen too, so much I think I'm gonna move this little salt lamp nightlight to another outlet, but the rest of this area came out so good.
I feel like it's the perfect mix of things I actually use and decorations.
I also put this new mug that I bought and I think this one is so cute.
I love the design, and then I ended up putting the flowers over there on the counter.
So excited to show you guys the final reveal, but first I have a couple last touches that I want to do Bye.
It is so nice to see my Tupperware drawer so organized.
I slowly started replacing all of my plastic containers with glass.
These from Ikea are definitely my favorites.
They have a glass bottom and then a wood top.
And then I have this bigger one too, which is so nice for leftovers.
And then I just bought this one, which is like a big pan.
This drawer looks so good.
And we are officially done with this entire kitchen.
Now it's time for the full tour.
Starting over here, I love this area.
I knew I wanted to have a lot of plants and the color green throughout my entire kitchen.
I feel like it really brings everything together.
First I have this plant.
I think this was the perfect spot for it.
I also love this plant stand and hopefully this plant does better here.
My cats love to chew it.
And then over here is one of my favorite areas.
So I have these two shelves that I really wanted to decorate, but also make super practical.
These mugs are probably my most And they're also really cute.
I finally got a Smeg.
I can't believe it.
I actually can't.
I ended up going with the cream color, which I am so happy about.
Although I love the color pink, I wanted to make sure whichever Smeg appliance I bought matched my kitchen forever.
And who knows what that's gonna look like in the future.
So with the pink, Although I love it and I think I would have loved it forever.
I felt like this color was a much safer choice, but it looks so perfect next to this coffee cup holder.
And I got this mug in this video and I just think it's so cute and perfect for this season.
I also have my basil plant, which is so decorative, but also so useful and perfect.
I love this area so much.
I think it came out so perfect.
Moving on along the counter, these flowers are so pretty.
I love this bouquet so much.
I feel like this was the perfect color combination to tie this entire room together.
And I ended up sticking it right there in like the emptiest part of my counter, which I think is perfect because it's not in the way, but you can still see them.
And then moving on, I have my sink. and we have this area.
I was so excited to put this together.
Starting off with this scrubber, I actually finally replaced my green one.
I have been putting it off for so long because I loved that green one.
It's my favorite scrubber ever, and I loved the green over the black.
But honestly, this one matches really well.
I didn't really think about it until I stuck it here.
And I was like, wait, it kind of works.
Like right here, I have this tile tray and I put all of my ASOP products on here.
The ASOP soap so far has been so good.
And I have a little hand cream and the room spray, which smells so good and fresh and clean.
And then next to that, I finally have some new utensils.
I have been needing to upgrade my utensils for so long.
I ended up getting these new cream ones with the wood at the bottom.
And then I had these pink ones, which were still really nice and held up well.
So I decided to keep those also.
Next to that is my new fruit basket.
I think it's so cute actually smaller than I kind of envisioned, but I do really like it.
I just love that it's this like basket and then the glass bowl.
Next to that I have my knife stand, which is so nice, and then my salt lamp nightlight.
I think this is the perfect spot for it.
It just adds something a little extra to this area.
I love having the nightlight on and then these under cabinet lights.
It's so nice.
But I love how this area came out so much like.
This is the perfect level of decorative but clean.
One of the biggest things for me as I was putting this kitchen together is I did not want a lot out.
I wanted to keep it as clean as possible with very little on my countertops.
I just feel like the kitchen gets messiest the fastest.
So I really wanted it to feel as clean as possible.
So that way, as it gets dirty, it's not as bad.
Over here, I kept it really simple.
I honestly don't really come to this corner very often, but I've had these flowers for a while and they're still holding up really well.
And then I have some olive oil and then this little plate that I bought.
I just think it's so cute.
So I want to look at it.
I also put my avocado oil in this little jar, but I don't know.
I had it out for a while next to the oven, but I just don't really like it.
Like I just don't think it looks that good.
So I kind of hit it in the corner.
I can't skip this rug down here.
This was definitely the best decision I made in this video.
As I talked about, I love how rugs transform a room.
And I think this was the perfect selection for my kitchen between the colors, the design and also the size.
I feel like it just brings this entire room together.
I also have to show you guys in my fridge i have been eating the last couple days as i've been filming this, so there's a couple things missing now, but these drawers have been so amazing.
It honestly just makes everything so much more convenient.
I had a snack the other day and i opened up these mini tomatoes and i had a handful of them.
I am all about convenience and if i have healthy food really easily accessible, i'm gonna snack on these a lot more than the unhealthy stuff.
I did a lot of organizing throughout this video, including this drawer.
This is all my silverware and like everyday utensils.
This has been amazing.
I love this organizer because it reaches all the way across this drawer and the wood just blends in perfectly.
So it's so satisfying.
And then, of course, I also did my spices, which I'm so excited to keep filling up, but this was also really fun to put together.
In the cabinets, I organized a lot also, and I love how it looks with my new dishes.
As I said, I got some new plates and bowls and I love how they look so much.
It's just so much fun to have these versus the plain white plates.
I am so excited to use all of these.
And these organizers helped a lot.
I wasn't even gonna get them, but I'm so glad I did, because I feel like the spacing just makes it look so much better.
And same thing with the cups.
I should definitely get rid of some, but with the shelves, it saved a lot of space.
It looks a lot better.

I honestly didn't have too much of a plan when I was trying to put this video together.
I just wanted to decorate with things that really resonated with me.
And I feel like that is the key to putting together a space.
As much as I love looking at inspiration pictures, I want it to really fit my personality.
I'm slowly putting together this entire house and it's been such a fun process.
So I'm so excited.
