Hey, JJ.
Wanna hear a story?
Yes, I do.
Can I please help tell it too?
Yes, listen close.
Let's imagine and rhyme.
It's Coco Melon Storytime!
Splish, splash, splish, splash.
I like playing in the bath.
Why are you putting those bubbles on your head, JJ?
Oh, that reminds me of a story.
It's called Jack and the Bubble Bath.
There once was a boy named Jack who loved playing in the bath.
Like me?
Splish, splash, splish, splash.
Yes, just like you.
This one day Jack was especially excited for his bath, because earlier he traded his cow for some magic bubble bath soap.
Magic bubble bath soap?
What did it do?
Jack didn't know, but he was about to find out.
It was almost dinner time.
Jack's daddy filled the bathtub and Jack climbed in.
When he poured in some magic bubble bath soap, bubbles filled the tub.
Pop, pop, pop!
But nothing magical happened.
No magic?
Well, not yet.
Maybe magic will happen when he scrub-a-dub-dubs.
That was Jack's guess too.
But then Jack had a thought.
I've got to wash up before bath time ends.
But before I do, I'll make a friend.
Jack fluffed the bubbles into the shape of a duck.
And when the bubbles popped, the bubble duck turned into a real duck.
The bubble bath soap was magic.
It really was.
Jack thought, wow, I gotta wash up before bath time ends.
But before I do, I'll make one more friend.
So Jack fluffed the bubbles into the shape of a dolphin.
When the bubbles popped, It turned into a real dolphin.
Did the dolphin go roar, JJ?
No.
Dolphins go... You're right.
Jack reached for his bath toys to share with his new friends.
But when he grabbed the soap, he remembered... He's got to wash up before bath time ends.
Yup.
But instead, Jack said...
Make one more friends.
Jack fluffed the bubbles into a baby shark.
And after the bubbles popped, it turned into a real baby shark.
Jack splished and splashed in the tub with the duck, the dolphin, and the baby shark.
Just then, Jack's daddy said, Jack, bath time's almost over.
Finish washing up or you'll be late for dinner.
But Jack never washed up.
That's right.
Jack was so busy making new friends he forgot, and now he had a problem with all these bubble friends around.
Jack didn't have enough room to wash up.
Ah, i can't shampoo my hair with a dolphin jumping over my head.
I can't scrub my feet with a baby shark swimming under them.
Hey, Jack couldn't even wash his belly because of the duck's big flapping wings.
Quack!
Quack!
There's no room to scrub-a-dub-dub in this very crowded tub.
Suddenly, Jack got an idea.
He poured the last drops of the magic bubble bath soap into the tub and fluffed the bubbles into the shape of a beanstalk.
So when the bubbles popped and the beanstalk became real, it grew and grew and grew.
All the way out of the window.
Whoa!
That's a big beanstalk!
Jack waved goodbye to his bubble bath friends as they went up the beanstalk and out of Jack's bathroom.
All the animals were gone.
So Jack had room to wash up.
Yeah, JJ.
Scrub-a-dub-dub in my tub-tub-tub.
Scrub-a-dub-dub in my tub-tub-tub.
And Jack finished his bath just in time for dinner.
Yay!
Now Jack just had to explain to his daddy why there was a beanstalk in the bathroom.
The end.
We heard a story.
Yes, it's true.
And I helped tell it, too.
We listened, imagined, and made some rhymes for Cocomelon Storytime.
