Today is March 12th, 2026.
I woke up this morning and it was raining.
It's been raining all week and the rain has melted most of the snow now.
I just made it to the lake, and I'm about to do one of the craziest things I've ever done.
Actually, okay, this is not the craziest thing I've ever done.
However, I'm about to do something kind of psychotic.
Maybe I've been living alone for too long, and I'm slowly losing my mind.
Oh my gosh, I love the rain!
Wow, I love the rain.
The transition from winter to spring is my absolute favorite time of year, watching the days getting warmer and the snow melting.
I don't know, there's just so much hope, so much to look forward to.

Okay, so I made it to the spot.
I made it to the spot where I have seen this very attractive man standing here by the lake fishing.
And I kind of have a crush on him.
I've talked to him once before.

But anyways, here's my plan.
My plan is I'm gonna write a note.
I'm gonna write a note, fold it up and put it into this jar and then place that at the spot this man has been standing fishing.
Now you might be thinking is about that's never gonna work, and you're right, it probably won't work.
However, i will say there's really not that many people that come to this area.
This is a very like secret lake area and um.
So if that's the case, i mean he's bound to come back at some point and i feel like he could possibly see this jar, open it up and then get my note.
Um, but i have to write it quick because now my paper is getting wet From the rain.

Okay, I gotta write this.

What am I gonna say?
Oh my gosh, my paper's getting wet.
Okay, let's just do it.
I think I'm going to start off with saying Dear Mysterious Fishing Man.

Okay, I have the note written.
It's barely legible because the rain is like bleeding the ink, but this is what I said.
Now don't make fun of me.
Dear mystery man, you probably don't remember me, but I'm the girl who said hi to you last month while you were fishing.
I thought you were really cute and I'm wondering if you would ever want to hang out sometime.
I will be here on March 25th at 5pm.
If that time and date doesn't work for you, then just write a note back and place it in the jar.
I wasn't sure if I should write down my number on here or not.
I decided against it because... I don't know.
I think I mean this probably will not work, but if it does and I show up here on March 25th and he's here,
That is like the most romantic story I've ever heard.
And I think giving my number would kind of ruin it.
