Feel like falling deeper Call the nights, I hate it so much Literally the perfect lazy day today.
Freezing cold outside.
It's snowing, but it's nice and toasty in bed.
And I'm cuddled up with Rue.
Rue and Dobby has been waking me up at 5 a.m.
I don't know when this new schedule started happening, but it did.
And now it's disrupting my sleep.
I'm curious if you guys also live in cities that are cold, what do you guys do during the winter?
You guys just stay home or do you guys just bundle up and go out?
Anyway, i'm getting ready to meet my friend, ina.
I'm sweating right now because i'm wearing a heat tech a cashmere heat tech that my mom sent me today.
A snowstorm is coming and it's supposed to be really cold today and we're most likely going to be snowed in tomorrow.
My ootd.
I'm wearing these really cool earrings, i'm wearing my new bag from demilliate and i have my little bag charm from the warrior.
Today's scent is silk bouquet is so good.
It is so cold.
Look at the steam coming out of my mouth like five degrees.
Oh careful careful, I'm gonna try the jjondeuk what is it called?
Dubai jjondeuk cookie.
Ina made this.
She made it really well.
Tastes like professional, so good.
It's so good.
A lot more.
We should make this.
It's really good.
Earlier this year, i did a therapy check-in about easing into the new year without feeling the pressure to jump right in, and i feel like some of you guys have really resonated with that.
So i want to expand on it and i want to give a big thank you to betterhelp for sponsoring this portion of the video.
Something that's been really weighing on me is wedding planning.
The stress is definitely creeping in balancing my full-time work, my relationships, my everyday life and then, on top of that, planning a wedding.
Mentally and financially, it's a lot.
So I've literally asked my therapist, is all of this even worth it?
And what she helped me to do was first acknowledge the stress but also reframe this as a really meaningful moment in my life.
With social media, weddings can just be so extreme and it's so easy to get caught up in wanting everything to be so picture perfect.
What actually really matters to us is just being able to celebrate with the people we love the most.
So now i'm genuinely excited again.
I've decided to let my planner do what she's good at.
My motto is as long as it fits in the budget, i'm letting go.
So if you're thinking about starting therapy this year, betterhelp makes it really easy.
You fill out a questionnaire and you get matched with a licensed therapist who fits your needs.
You can click the link in the description or go to betterhelpcom michelle choi and get 10 off your first month of therapy.
So it is a Friday night today and I'm home alone.
I'm actually going to attempt to meal prep.
I've been inspired by Blair Saltzman.
He's just been so locked in on working out and eating healthy.
So I went ahead and bought glass Tupperwares in all the same sizes.
I'm going to enjoy this time alone, make something good, and watch singles in person.
That is like probably one of my favorite dating shows.
I'm thinking of making like an orange pepper garlic chicken with some cucumber salad and some broccoli.
Look at this vegetable.
Starting off with my chicken thighs.
I'm gonna drizzle some soy sauce, pepper, salt.
I'm gonna add a little bit of this garlic puree.
I'm just adding whatever I have.
Shelby, did you just fart?
Bell pepper, just to give it a little rainbow color.
Honey.
I'm going to pop this in the oven now.
I'm going to steam my broccoli.
To season the broccoli, I'm going to use some sesame oil, sesame seed.
I'm going to do some garlic and some salt.
All right, taking one out off to a very rough start.
Here we go.
Oh my god, it looks so cute.
To make it more my style, i'm gonna add a little bit of chicken uh, chicken chili crisp and oil, and that is my friday night meal prep.
It tastes so clean.
You guys have to try to make the broccoli at home, because it is so good, so simple, but so good.
Now that we are all cleaned up, it's time for singles inferno.
Some popcorn.
I'm not even a big fan of popcorn, but the popcorn that comes out of this is really good.
We got this as our white elephant gift.
Happy, lazy sunday everyone.
There is a full snowstorm that's going on right now, so everyone is just kind of staying safe, staying indoors.
This is the most snow that new york has gotten in a minute.
I thought i would take this opportunity to do some more baking.
Blurry sauce man loves to bake.
I do not enjoy baking but i'm starting to enjoy it because he does all the measuring and all that stuff.
So i just get to do the fun stuff, like putting everything together and then popping it in the oven.
You guys know how i am with cooking.
I don't do any type of measuring, i just eyeball everything.
You can't really do that with baking.
You need like, the exact measurements.
So that's what we're gonna do today, while blurry sauce man is measuring out all the ingredients stuff that i don't like to do.
I wanted to share with you perfume that i recently discovered and i love and i think it.
It might be my, I think it might be my wedding perfume.
For full transparency.
I am working with Eloria, which is a Korean fragrance brand based in New York, but I'm working with them for like a TikTok video.
I just want to be transparent.
Like this video is not sponsored by Eloria.
They have no idea that I'm even talking about this, but I do want to tell you that I got these perfumes for free for a video.
I've been a big fan of Eloria.
Actually, a viewer introduced me to the brand.
Blair Sauce Man got a perfume from them.
I have never smelt this one particular perfume and I am obsessed with it.
This is Silk Bouquet.
Even the name is like perfect.
It's such a bridal like name Silk Bouquet.
It is the most gorgeous beautiful smell.
The top notes are Korean watermelon blossom, lemon, white magnolia.
I have my other perfume.
That's also like a magnolia scent.
That's why i like it so much.
Like this is what i imagined to wear on my wedding day.
It is so beautiful and it lasts so long.
I sprayed this on yesterday and i kept thinking about it, so i wanted to talk about in a video because you guys know, i love i love my perfumes.
This might be my wedding scent.
I think i might have to get the full size for this.
I have some other favorites.
Please go smell water and then also hazy blue.
All right, let's go bake now.
I just want to share that with you guys.
You guys see how deep we're gonna be making madeleines.
Take it away.
We are making misugaru, misugaru.
What's misugaru?
It's like a korean grain mix.
It's like 10 roasted grain powder.
We just got this at h mark.
Traditionally you can make this into like a drink with milk, but we're gonna turn this into a dessert, all right.
So the first step, we'll start with the eggs, add the honey.
That was kind of a fail, so we're redoing it.
Oh, it shows in the video.
Don't follow our recipe because this is what it will look like.
Very good.
This is the before.
