Hey friends, it's Rosie from Radio Headspace here with the very special announcement.
Radio Headspace is supported by Storyworth. There are some stories about my dad's life that I
truly never get tired of hearing. From hilarious to heartfelt, tear jerking, to plot twisting,
his retelling of events always brings me joy. Just in time for Father's Day,
I found the perfect gift that captures all of his stories for my family forever.
It's called Storyworth. Storyworth helps you preserve precious memories and stories from
your dad for years to come. Here's how it works. Each week, Storyworth emails your loved one
a thought-provoking question that you get to help pick. Stuff like, what was your favorite
subject in high school or is there anything you regret? Things that will really illuminate
who they are as a person. Storyworth makes the writing process a breeze. All your loved one needs
to do is respond to that email with a story. Longer short, it doesn't matter. You'll be emailed
a copy of your loved one's response as they're submitted over the course of a year.
You'll get to enjoy their retelling of stories as you already know, or be surprised by the stories
you've never heard before. And, after that year of fun, Storyworth compiles your loved one's
stories and photos into a beautiful, keepsake hardcovered book that you'll be able to share and
revisit for generations to come. You can even keep a copy of the book for yourself. I really want
this so that my nieces and nephews and hopefully their kids will always know about my dad.
It's the story of our family and I think it's so important for them to have that connection.
Families love Storyworth. That's why it has more than 25,000 five star reviews on Trust Pilot.
With millions of stories preserved since they were founded over 10 years ago. Give all the
fathers in your life a unique heartfelt gift you'll all cherish for years. Storyworth.

Hi, it's Andy here and welcome to Radio Headspace. So I was chatting with a friend earlier today
and we were talking about taking time out for ourselves and now I think more than ever.
It's really important that we take time out for ourselves. It's always been important but now with
so much going on in the world, I think is especially important. And it's really tempting to look at
taking time out for ourselves as somehow being selfish, perhaps an escape of some kind.
But I don't know about you. When I take time out for myself, I feel better and I don't just
feel better for me. I feel better for the people around me. I feel calmer. I feel more relaxed.
I feel recharged in some way. I maybe have a little more clarity in my mind. Whereas when I'm
very distracted in the world, when I'm very cool up either in my internal chat or the external noise,
I actually feel like that is the escape in some ways. I'm not really experiencing the hearing now.
I'm cool up in commentary on what did happen or commentary on what might happen rather than simply
being present. So when we step out of the world and when we are quiet still for just a short period
of time in the day, there is the opportunity to really reconnect with what's happening right now
with how we feel right now, to feel a greater sense of appreciation for those people in our lives.
So that when we go back out into life, we can be there in a better state of mind not only for
ourselves but for the people around us. So my hope is that however your Monday on folds today,
there is the opportunity to pause, to take a little time, whatever you want to call it for yourself
so that you can better show up for the people around during your life. Thanks so much for joining us
for Radio Headspace, I look forward to seeing you back here tomorrow.
