Guys, i've been in new york for the past couple of days and my skin has been having a lot of dry patches.
It's been breaking out.
You can't even see it because i'm wearing so much makeup to cover it.
My hair has been dry because there's no hair dryer in this house and i've just not been doing well.
I'm running out of my makeup products, i'm running out of my skincare products, i'm running out of my hair products.
So i was thinking let's go to korea.
This whole trip was honestly super last minute and i didn't even think i would go, but i was invited by the government of seoul to shoot with them super last minute.
So i bought my flights two days ago and i just thought this video concept would be a fun way to show you guys how i get pampered in seoul every time i go.
Guys, we just finished checking in our bags and we are in the lounge area because we still have two hours until boarding.
It's currently 10 40.
Our flight's at 1am and we'll land by 5am, korean time, back to the motherland.
Even though i felt super stressed about this really last minute trip, i was really excited to visit seoul in the fall season as i haven't been before in a very long time.

The stream is a lot more packed than I expected.
Our flight was 15 hours, which is crazy because usually it's like 12-13 hours, but it got so much longer.

Hi, guys.
We woke up feeling super hungry, so we're going to go eat some breakfast.
I'm really happy to be here with my boyfriend.
We have come to korea before with our whole exchange group but i think this will be like a really different experience because last time we came we were with like 18 other people and all we did was spend our trip around partying and just going out.
At night.
Last night i slept with my makeup on, so i'm washing my face for a lot longer than i would today.
I have a lot of beauty appointments booked.
At 10 am i have like a whole skin appointment and i'm working with the skin clinic and they're providing three thousand dollars worth of skin treatments for free, which is insane, and i actually worked with them before and i also thought it was just as insane.
But i probably won't get three thousand dollars worth, because last time i did and it was quite a lot on my skin and it took a lot of time to heal.
My skin has been dry for like the longest time, but being on a flight worsened that.
And then at 2 pm i have like a hair appointment as well as a makeup appointment with the makeup artist that works with aespa and jenny.
So i'm really excited to get like a kpop makeup transformation and thankfully i don't have to do my makeup this morning because they're gonna be taking it off anyways if i do Skin booster.
I have arrived at Vans clinic in Sinchon.
After taking off my makeup, they brought me to the skin consultation room, where they did a whole skin analysis using these cool devices.
Then she told me everything that was wrong with my skin, but she was being so nice about it and my biggest concern areas were redness and pores.
Just got sent to a new room and they have a little stuffed animal for the pain.
We're done with picotuning and this is supposed to help with acne scars, but it hurt a lot more than i remember this day.
All three of my appointments were very back to back, so i headed straight to the commune hair and makeup salon.
I washed my hair this morning because it was embarrassingly gross, but i'm just gonna wash it again because we want to try out new hair products on week, So we just finished washing my hair.
I don't really know what style I exactly want.
Maybe like C curls inwards.
We'll see what they do.
This is the scalp serum we're first going to use.
We're also gonna be going in with the mellow cream, because my hair has been so dry.

It's a thicker cream.
Then we headed upstairs to the makeup room and guys look at all this makeup.
This is the makeup look we're gonna try to go for.
It's like Bambi makeup.
Every time i go to korea and get my makeup done by an idol makeup artist, i feel like i always learn something new, and this time, when i went, i learned that the way you apply your skincare matters heavily when it comes to makeup.
So she used the glow aloe vera cream and used these small circular motions to really get the cream in between all the crevices of my face.
She's making my shade with the glow foundation product.
That's the brightener, And I always take inspiration from how they do my eyebrows, because they're genuinely the best at it.
And I was also analyzing how she was doing my eyeshadow because I don't really use it that often.
Guys, this is the final makeup and hair.
I feel like it's very different to what I usually do, so I don't even recognize myself.
I really like the whole bronzy look.

Then, on my way back home after a long day, I had to stop by Olive Young, because that's a must if you're in Korea, but I just needed to go to pick up the eyebrow pencil that the makeup artist was using because the color was really nice.
Okay guys, welcome to the final portion of this glow up video for a date.
It is to actually get ready with me for a date.
I'm gonna be trying out a lot of the new products that i picked up here and there, and especially from Hemeco, because they invited me to their office building, as you guys have seen in the beginning portion of the video, and I picked up a bunch of new trending k-beauty products that I have tried out in my Instagram reel, but I also want to show you guys here on YouTube.
So I just moisturized my face and also used this Hello Kitty body scrub and i like how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized.
I don't feel the need to go in with an extra body butter or anything.
Okay, i've noticed a lot of k-beauty makeup artists use this product that i got from himeko.
It's from the brand glow and it's a dual sided concealer.
I like to use the more salmon color on my acne and then use the brightener under my eyes, and i've noticed the idol makeup artist used a very flat brush to go in the very thin layers, but i couldn't get my hands on them.
They were sold out at the olive young.
Honestly, if this was the first day, i would be a lot more nervous but, like i've traveled with owen so many times and i'm like we're like besties now, so i'm not nervous or anything, but i'm just very excited to be hanging out.
The makeup artists here don't use a lot of powder.
I've noticed
Especially because I told them I have dry skin.
They just powdered my eyelids and my eyebrows and with the leftover they would go on the forehead and on the top of my nose.
This is a lip and cheek product from ALU.
Since it is fall, i've been obsessed with the color burgundy.
A lot of you guys have also asked me questions about like, what my type is like.
When i told you guys that i was with owen, you guys were, like you finally found your own nerd.
And honestly yeah, like i don't really like guys who are like very into social media and all that i.
I just needed like a nice nerd.
You know what i mean.
Like I see these memes on Pinterest all the time and honestly, like that's literally me.

I always just draw my aegis hair with my eyebrow pencil.
For my outfit tonight for the date.
I'm just going to be wearing one of the dresses that Whitebox sent me because they're so pretty.
Recently, I've been into using less eyelashes and just focusing on creating more depth for my eyes using eyeshadow which is crazy to say because I never use eyeshadow.
But I never use colorful colors.
I just use a dark brown to go softly along the lash line.
I feel like it looks so much more natural that way.
But a lot of you guys were also wondering how we met.
We actually met on exchange while I was in Japan.
If you guys are new to this channel, I studied in Japan earlier this year.
We had the same class and we were assigned as partners.
So we just started off as friends and things escalated very naturally.
And I feel like I'm the type of person to really just like let things happen if it happens, so naturally, because if it happens it's meant to happen.
That's how i view things and like why not experience when the opportunity is given to you?
So, and i'm so glad i did, because i feel like the blush looks a lot less pinkier in person and the glitter stands out a lot more, but hopefully it looks good on camera too.
I think we're done with the makeup look.
I think something that I prioritize above makeup or like equally just as so is perfume.
I'll show you guys my favorites right now.
Okay, this perfume is from Fleur.
It's called Heavy Cream.
And I honestly feel like this goes with any perfume that you might have.
But it nicely softens the scent and it makes it more cozier.
It makes it smell like...
Turns your favorite perfume into a cream, almost like you applied a body cream from that perfume And so it doesn't smell artificial.
It just smells like you take care of yourself.
Second one I go in with is from the brand glow, and this was like a perfect perfume, but it's so girly.
These two go really well.
But honestly, this goes well with like, I have decided on, this floral dress.
I like how the colors flow with my blush color, my necklace, as well as my nails.
