Ruby Frankie, a controversial family vlogger who shocked the YouTube space and raised eyebrows around the world.
Her vlogs were not the happy family channel videos you would expect from a YouTuber, but instead a nightmare of child , punishing her children in ways that some people would rather just receive the belt.
And the drama eventually spread so large that not only was she convicted in court, but an entire Hulu docuseries was created to show the horrors that happened not only in front of the camera but behind it.
Crime!

All things that I love to consume, and I know you do too, you sick twisted beautiful, intellectually minded freak.
But yes, today we are talking about the infamous Ruby Frankie.
We all know how much I love family vlogging channels, don't we?
They're my favorite.
And by they're my favorite, I mean I feel like they should be illegal.
I don't like them.
I don't like them one bit.
I did cover ruby frankie very briefly in a video, maybe like a year ago, didn't go deep dive into it, but she's resurfacing on the internet and and in court and because of this docu-series, so i figured we'd do a deep dive into this much.
So, without further ado, let's unbuckle our seatbelts, go Mach 5 down the highway, slam on the brakes and bust through this windshield into this POS family vlogger together.
So Ruby was born in Utah in January of 1982 to Chad and Jennifer Griffiths, growing up with three sisters Ellie, Julie and Bonnie.
Her family was born in Utah, which was also deeply involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, the LDS Church.
We've done a lot of videos about that.
You can go watch those ones, but some shady stuff sometimes, which is better known as Mormonism.
And this belief would shape not only her life, but her children's as well.
And later in life she would marry Kevin Franke, a former professor of engineering at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah, on December 28th 2000.
And together they adopted a structured approach to parenting which was heavily influenced by religious beliefs.
They emphasized obedience, self-reliance and regimented lifestyle for their children, often framing these values as essential for their growth and success which, like On the surface, you know to each their own.
That doesn't sound so bad, I guess.
You know, if you're for religion against religion, that's your own thing.
But so far, we seem okay.
Buckle up.
So as the couple's family grew, Ruby saw an opportunity to document their lives and share her parenting philosophy with a broader audience.
So the launch of the eight passengers in 2015 marked the beginning of her vlogging career and the end of these kids' safe, private childhood.
Just, I can't stand, I can't stand these people.
I can't stand people that exploit their children.
Jail, oh wait, she's already in it.
I'm giving it away.
Let's continue.
So Ruby felt the need to share this part of her life.
A lot of mothers think their way of teaching and raising their child is the best way.
Not all mothers.
I think a good mom always thinks there's room for improvement.
I think that makes a really good parent.
But Ruby, nay nay, she thought she was perfect.
But sometimes they just wanna share their life experience and document their children, which again is like okay on the surface if it's just here and there and it's with friends and family, not with the entire world and every moment of their lives.
So in 2015 she created the channel Eight Passengers, a joke that mentioned how many people were along for the ride in her family of eight.
It's not that funny.
It's not that funny.
Herself, her husband, along with her six children, Sherry, Chad, Abby, Julie, Russell, and Eve.
And our audience began to expand with her semi-relatable content about raising children and experiences as a mother.
And she had a pretty loyal fan base of moms and others, entertained and even inspired by her take on parenting, and eventually she would reach her peak of popularity, garnering around 25 million subscribers on her over 1 billion views by mid 2020, which is insane.
However, with more eyeballs on her channel, people began to realize that she definitely wasn't in ordinary family channel and something was off about her treatment of her children, and the treatment of her children was mostly on camera, the only way the audience could see their lives are going, since they're not only on flip phones, but because she's the only one allowed to use technology and record, at least from what I could gather.
No texting at the dinner table.
No texting.
But I mean, her punishments are insanely ironic by nature, because she would be punishing her child for texting at the dinner table while she had a huge camera pointed in their face.
The irony is just spelt out all over the place.
And one of the worst controversies was the admission on camera in one of the vlogs of one of the children, which was Chad, describing how he was grounded from his room for seven months.
What?
Did he murder someone?
That's a jail- What?
My bedroom was taken away for seven months and then you give it back like a couple weeks ago.
I don't think our viewers know that.
He was sleeping on a beanbag.
I've been sleeping on a beanbag since October.
So instead of sleeping in his bed, he had to sleep on a beanbag, and his mother was sitting next to him, laughing and smiling.
Like it was the funniest thing ever.
Oh, my son has a perfectly fine room and what he did wasn't that big of a deal, but it makes for great content.
So tell us how miserable you are.
Chad just sick, she's sick.
I hate her, so i don't like this.
So wait wait, wait.
What is the reason he would deserve such a punishment?
You know?
Ask yourself that.
Well, That's the reason that's been in my head.
It's pretty funny, but now that I look back at it, it's pretty depressing.
No, we never told our viewers.
I woke Russell up at 2 in the morning and told him that we're going to Disneyland and he has to pack.
And he got up and made his bed all neatly and then packed all his clothes in a suitcase.
And then he walked out the door and I'm like, Russell.
And he's like, what?
And he's all happy.
If that's grounds for grounding your child and banning them from the room for seven months, I should literally be in a 30-year sentence in my parents' basement right now.
Like, so mild, so innocent.
Like, that is funny.
That is some shit I would pull.
Like they just weren't allowed to be kids.
Like it didn't harm anyone.
Made a couple people a little sleep deprived for the night.
My God.
So when he's laughing and telling the story, she looks at him very displeased, stating that if it's so funny, maybe he needs more time to learn his lesson.
And he wasn't even in his room.
He was sent to the family room and had to sleep there for seven months.
Not his bedroom, the family room.
Like, I can't even imagine.
Like, just can you imagine no privacy for seven months as a...
At this point, I don't know exactly how old he is, but a teenage boy.
And I know a lot of people don't have that option.
But to have that option and it just to be stripped away from a person that you think that's supposed to protect you and respect you, and it's just.
It just, it makes me really sad.
It makes me really sad for this kid.
Like, obviously they're at a point where they are privileged but at the same time other side of the coin they're living in a prison.
And they even talk about the daughter next to them who got her phone taken away for months, stating that they can't call their friends.
And then they change the topic and talk about how they can't hang out with their friends, to which Ruby says they can hang out with their friends with no problem.
However, what she doesn't realize is that their friends live far away and that they can't hang out with them, since they have no communication with them.
And I think she realizes that her kids literally have no friends and can't hang out with friends.
If they do have them, not only because they can't see them, but probably because they judge how their mother treats and disciplines them.
She's creating a cult in her own home, or she did create a cult.
She's isolating her children and she's controlling them, not in like a motherly way, like how you're supposed to teach your kids stuff and, you know, protect them from you know harm.
She's just a . menacing cult leader amongst her family.
I mean, it's just awful to watch.
And there is no smiling from the children other than to cope.
Not out of fun or excitement about their lives, but literally just to cope.
You can see her face too.
You can tell that she's realizing what she's doing to her children, but just refuses to change.
Just a classic, classic.
And it's hard to justify this behavior.
And it seems that the audience also agreed with this, thankfully.
Considering I had to make this video, you can tell people did not like the response to this.
But another horrible disciplinary action was the lunch deprivation incident.
And this incident involved the six-year-old daughter, Eve.
And according to Ruby in her vlog, she states her daughter's teacher texted her and told her that her six-year-old did not pack a lunch.
I just got a text message from Eve's teacher.
She said that Eve did not pack a lunch today and can I bring a lunch over to the school?
And she would then ask Ruby to bring a lunch for her because she's at lunch without food.
And Ruby says, this happens frequently.
And she knows her teacher is uncomfortable with her not having a lunch and it would ease her discomfort if she did have a lunch.
Her six-year-old daughter is going to school with no lunch as a punishment.
She's starving her children as punishment. frequently.
But instead of doing what a loving mother would do and bring a lunch, she texts the teacher back.
I responded and just said, Eve is responsible for making her lunches in the morning.
And she actually told me she did pack a lunch.
And the natural outcome is that she's going to have to be hungry.
That's what Ruby Frank said about her daughter.
So the natural outcome is she's just going to need to be hungry.
So her six-year-old daughter forgot to pack her lunch and is going to have to suffer the consequences and just be hungry.
But that alone is not the worst part, believe it or not.
The worst part is is that Ruby doubles down stating that And hopefully hopefully, nobody gives her food and nobody steps in and gives her a lunch.
Bitch, what?
Oh my God.
I want to go Undertaker on her ass and just...
But I mean, like this is an evil woman.
The fact that she's straight faced, talking about her six year old child in that way, hoping they starve for lunch to teach them a lesson about packing their lunch, is actually the definition of evil.
And her punishments just go on and on things that most people would probably just get grounded for or like their phone taken away for, like you know, a week or something, but not this family.
Ruby is just like to the extreme and past that line.
And another notable punishment she gave to her children was at the table, filming them and their reaction, ready to give them possibly one of the dumbest punishments.
And this punishment was putting all of their stuff in a bag.
If they wanted something out of the bag, they had to pay for it.
Cash, like real money, cash money.
You have something in the bag that you would like out.
You can pay cash for it.
So you learn the value of your items.
And this was to teach them to understand the value of their items.
They could also do a chore equivalent for the cost of the item as well.
But to make things more fun, whatever they didn't buy back out of the bag by the end of the day would be thrown in the trash.
How fun, mom!

What?
Like there was a.
There's a moment in there where it's like okay, there may be a lesson in there somewhere, you know earning your stuff, I get that.
But then throwing it in the trash, just insane.
And I mean, I could go on and on about how much she mistreated her own children.
And how her obnoxious whining and behavior was just appalling.
But that would literally take hours and hours.
And I don't want to spend that much oxygen on this bitch.
Alright?
So, I digress.
We'll move on.
So finally, peer pressures from the audience steered drama channels and others to look into this family channel, pointing out the horrors going on camera.
So CPS and DCFS were called to check on the children.
However, no action was taken during those times.
And this happened multiple times.
The neighbors knew of their actions, but were unable to do anything about it, unfortunately.
So her audience began to turn on her, realizing she was not this good family mom she pretended to be, because it was impossible for her to hide from her true colors, even from behind the camera.
And things would just get worse when Ruby would make a new friend named Jodi Hildebrand, a self-proclaimed mental health counselor, And Jodi owned and ran Connections Classroom, which was a life coaching program to promote extreme ways of parenting and strategies.
And Ruby became closely knit with this business with Jodi, with videos like this to be relatable to parents who experienced the same things.
You guys, it is time for back to school.
This is what morning school routines used to look like in my home before I knew about structure and boundaries.
Get up!
Have you brushed your teeth or fixed your hair?
And Ruby was already in with this strict way of parenting, and having Jody in her life was encouraging this lifestyle even more like an echo chamber of bad ideas.
And it became so extreme that her husband began to dislike the treatment she was doing towards her children.
Oh, I'm glad he disliked it.
Step up, bitch.
Sorry, I'm getting really mad.
I'm getting really mad.
I also need to put my glasses on.
But this eventually would lead to Ruby kicking Kevin out of the house.
It's insane that she would just continue this horrible mindset though.
Thinking it's best for her family with her equally insane therapist friend, Jody.
But we'll come back to talk more about her husband because it's just a rabbit hole with him as well.
His unfortunate name, Kevin, which is my dog's name, and he's a precious little angel.
Not the husband, my dog.
And Ruby would continue to fall out of more relationships, that of her siblings and her extended family as well.
And her obsession with Jodi's teachings even made her two oldest children, Cherry and Chad, become distasteful of her becoming vocal about her sick relationship with her new friend.
And it might've been more than just a little friendship.
I mean, there's a lot of things.
There's a lot of things going around online, but I'm not gonna say anything because I don't know for sure.
So they had already been kicked out of the house due to them being above the age of 18, which is exactly what she wanted out of her children when they turned 18 to get the out of Dodge.
My kids are not welcome to come live with me after they're 18.
I am very straightforward about that.
Chad had been kicked out of the house during her friendship with Jodi, a problem that stemmed from him doing what teenage boys do, you know, off or whatever, i don't want to say it, i don't know, it's weird, but he, he did those things, made out with his girlfriends, behind his mom and jody's back, while they were in the house.
He confronted jody saying like hey, i did these things and he felt like he needed to confess to jody and, by doing that, needed to confess to his mother as well.
So he would go up to his mother and be like hey, i'm struggling with this.
You know, i know i shouldn't be doing this, but i am doing this, doing what Most boys would not do.
Most guys would just keep it to themselves.
But this guy is just like putting it on the table, being vulnerable with his mom trying to get help.
And what she did was just kick him out of the house.
Jodi thought it would be a good idea for me as part of my repentance process to tell my mom.
So I pretty much confessed to her that while Jodi was in the home, I was viewing pornography.
I was making out with girls at nighttime behind your back.
And I have never seen my mom more distraught.
And I have never seen her more red in the face.
I was 17 at this time.
Great parenting, 10 points to Ruby and Jodi.
And that brings us to one horrifying day, specifically August 30th, 2023.
Something would completely change Jodi, Ruby, and her children's lives in an instant.
On August 30th, 2023, a 12-year-old boy was seen knocking on the door of his neighbors.
I just had a 12-year-old boy show up here at my front door asking for help.
And he said he just came from a neighbor's house and we know there's been problems at this neighbor's house.
This boy was asking for some food and water, shown skinny and with duct tape around his ankles.
And, when examined closer, injuries to his wrists and ankles were severe, leaving damaged tissue and muscle.
And the boy ringing the doorbell asked for the police, and he was obviously thin and starving.
So the neighbor gave him a banana and some water and waited for the police to come and arrive.
And after a deep examination of the boy at the hospital, they found cayenne pepper and honey had been used to dress his wounds.
And this was due to them trying to stop an infection, so they wouldn't have to bring them to the hospital and lie about what had happened to him.
And looking into more details.
The boy describes how he wasn't at his mother's house, but his mother's friend, Jodi Hildebrandt.
And he then, after being placed into safety, describes how there's another child at the house, which was his sister.
And this part is honestly one of the saddest things I've ever seen.
When police find her, she's in a closet, just sitting on the floor alone.
She doesn't speak.
She's sitting on the floor, not moving, no reaction.
And police described she was so thin they couldn't even discern her from a boy or a girl, especially with the buzz cut that she had.
So she refuses to move or leave the closet, possibly out of fear due to Jodi's instructions telling her she had to stay where she was.
And obviously starving.
Police would bring her a pizza and some soda to help ease her fears and getting something into her system.
And reportedly she just stared at the food and the drink for several minutes.
Not moving, not eating, not drinking, just totally paralyzed in fear.
And after four hours, four hours, she would finally stand up and leave the closet.
And afterwards, both Jodi and Ruby were arrested. you bitches.
And in the arrest, you can see Ruby annoyed in the handcuffs.
And later when detectives question her, she's seen blinking like a psychopath and completely silent.
It's honestly just sick.
And when she finally responds to a question, it's to wait for her lawyer.
And Jodi, equally insane.
Telling detectives if they knew all the pieces of the story, they'd have a lot of empathy.
Like, just shut the up.
Put some duct tape around your mouth, shove you in a closet, and not give you food.
How about that?
No?
Yeah, probably not.
That's probably not a good thing to do.
Prison?
Yes.
If you knew all the pieces, I think you'd have a lot of empathy.
What's going on?
But according to police questioning and the evidence alongside, the young boy had slept outside and wrote jail in pebbles, meaning he was thinking about calling the police not for help but to absolve himself from the crimes his mother said he committed.
The brainwashing that happened in this household is astonishing.
When I say she's a cult leader and Jodi, it is astonishing.
It is just like, Jim Jones, they are right up there with him.
And knowing that the young 12-year-old boy thought he was the one who was going to be arrested and not his mother and her friend is insanely telling about just all the that happened.
And a day before all of this she's seen on Jodi's channel with just crocodile tears.
Ruby, that is saying she's staying firm in how she's mothering her children.
And this happened while they were obviously tied up in this exact house, which is horrifying to think about.
You wonder where I've been on my vlogs.
You wonder why I left YouTube?
To save my kids no amount of money.
And I'm telling you I was making millions and I left it because my kids were being hurt with entitlement.
They were being And she was then charged with six counts of felony aggravated child .
However, we wouldn't know if she would suffer for her crimes until later that year.
Ruby was held without bail.
And the media was all over this.
Any sort of influencer that is charged with something is immediately national headlines, as we know.
And to no one's surprise.
Everyone celebrated the fact that she was finally caught and arrested and were eagerly awaiting details of what would happen to her, including myself.
And before Jodi Hildebrandt could be charged, she immediately surrendered her license as a counselor.
I hope so.
And on December 18th 2023, Ruby pleaded guilty to four counts of the second degree aggravated child charges.
And in the proceeding, they talked about how she would her children.
One story involving her young son working outside for several weeks without any protection, which caused him to be severely burned.
And Jodi herself was also charged with four counts on December 27th of the same year.
Ms.
Frankie, how do you plead to count one aggravated child abuse, a second degree felony?
Guilty.
To count three aggravated child abuse, a second degree felony?
Guilty.
To count five aggravated child a second degree felony guilty.
And to count six aggravated child a second degree felony, with my deepest regret and sorrow for my family and my children.
And we wouldn't get any more news until February of 2024, when they would finally receive their sentencing.
On February 20th, 2024, the sentencing hearing would begin.
And they read off the situation Ruby and Jodi had put the kids in describing it as a concentration camp where she starved and neglected them.
From May to August in 2023, Ms.
Frankie and her business partner held her two children, ages nine and 11, turning 12 in a concentration camp-like setting.
And they were even emotionally so badly that they believed the punishments that they were receiving were earned and deserved.
Heartbreaking, like so heartbreaking.
However, the defense had taken an interesting side.
They're trying to pin it all on Jodi and avoid as much punishment against Ruby as possible, it seems.
And yes, she's accepting her punishment.
But they frequently mentioned how most of it falls on Jodi, as if it's not the mother's fault, as if they're not her children.
And oh, you know, she's responsible for her children and the care she puts them in, you know.
Ruby realizes that she still has work to do in shedding those thinking errors and to reestablish a better and correct pattern of thinking and behavior.
Ruby realizes that changing her thinking, Reestablishing relationships and healing are not simple or easy tasks.
However, she is committed to doing that work.
I would like the court to know that Ruby Franke is a delightful, respectful, and responsible person.
She is open to feedback and addressing the consequences of her actions head on and now ready to address your honor and accept your judgments.
And Ruby then makes her own personal statement, talking about how she followed counseling guidance from her friend Jodi, and that, in turn, is the reason for her unchecked reality, as if she wasn't doing all of this before.
Sorry, I just, I can't.
I can't take anything seriously that comes out of her disgusting, foul, Bitch mouth.

So she spends the majority of her time thanking the officers, the medical staff, her lawyer, blah blah, blah blah.
Only at the end does she talk about her children, which is why, in my opinion, she doesn't care what she has done against her children, only that she got caught and was in trouble.
And her crocodile tears honestly mean nothing.
Zip.
Nothing.
Nada.
Because you talk about all these other people that you put above your children, just like in your own life.
And as for Jodi, she has her own statement as well.
And, weirdly enough, she seems more humane about it, despite her being a huge reason for the ab towards the children.
Or at least furthering and encouraging Ruby to ab*** them more.
And I say this because she mentions the children more.
First.
Wow, first.
See, take notes, Ruby.
Although Jodi's a piece of shit too.
I sincerely love these children.
But in the end, they both received the same sentence.
One to 15 years terms in prison served consecutively for each of the four counts of child abuse to which they pleaded guilty.
And this is one of the harshest punishments ever given in recent child abuse cases.
However, they're more likely to serve around 30 years.
Honestly, I think it should be the rest of their miserable lives.
Personally, there should be no chance.
These just wastes of oxygen should ever step foot outside of a jail and be allowed to be near children of any kind.
And Ruby's sister, Bonnie, made a YouTube video titled, I am not my sister.
I am not my sister's crimes.
And in the video she talks about how she knew her family was strange, but she never knew what was going on.
And why is that?
Well, Ruby, like we talked about before, cut off her family from knowing anything that was going on.
She knew she was weird, but didn't have a clue what was going on behind closed doors.
And she could be seen crying after learning the horrors her sister had done.
She said they worked behind the scenes legally to try to fix things.
She couldn't just go there and bust in, because if she did that she could go to jail for breaking and entering.
So how could she help?
However, her most important point, which we'll get into, is that the only person who could have directly gotten involved and helped those kids was Kevin.
Remember Kevin?
The father?
Kevin, as mentioned before, was in the vlogs in Eight Passengers, Ruby's husband.
And Kevin is a less talked about character in all of this.
As he witnessed the abuse and eventually just left her in 2022, but never went back to help.
You know, his children, who you know, were being... by, you know, his wife.
Kevin Frank would state that he was unaware of the extreme ways she was parenting.
However, he talked about how Jodi was able to avoid the law because she never answered her door, and more.
Not answer the door, not speak with authorities, DCFS or police, just remain silent.
And as long as everybody remains silent, then within a specified amount of days, typically 30, the case closes by itself.
But what's weird is the interrogation he had with detectives and his reaction to learning the information.
He seemed crying about what's going to happen to his wife because he loves his wife.
You know, the wife, that his children and he has no reaction to anything.
He's just stone cold and just.
It just feels wrong and a little evil.
Not gonna lie, it's my opinion.
Okay, not saying he did anything well, i'm just saying he didn't do anything and i can say that because he didn't.
But just look at his reaction to the officer saying he doesn't know how he'd feel if he wasn't able to see his kids.
Now you could say he's in shock, but I see someone involved.
Because he says, I trust her.
Okay, so the dude is either spineless and guilty or just ignorantly guilty.
But there's no way he didn't know, you know?
And he blames Jodi for everything.
But if all of that doesn't convince you, here's police body cam footage of him asking why his daughter isn't going to be arrested for the robbery of his personal items.
Explain to me again why this was not robbery.
Because it's a civil issue.
You guys are family.
She's been in the house before.
You haven't been in the house in a year.
She had interest in the items.
She didn't take them with the intention to deprive you of them.
So that's the theft code.
We have to prove intent to deprive you of the items.
And that wasn't her intent in having them.
So the detective sergeant said that we're not going to charge her for anything.
Okay.
Okay.
But yeah no, he's totally a loving father who just really loves his kids and wants the best for his kids and everything you know.
Totally.
Totally.
Oh, and did I mention this was two days after Ruby was arrested?
Yeah, so after his wife got arrested for his children, he tried to get his daughter arrested for taking stuff that was hers.
Yeah.
Great guy.
Definitely innocent in all of this.
Definitely not guilty.
You know, can't say that.
Anyway, Sherry Frankie, the oldest sibling, who was kicked out at 18 years old, has been pretty vocal and she's very straight up.
She says Jodi isn't the reason for the abuse.
She was like that before.
Not this spineless viewpoint that Kevin takes, but she's firm with what happened.
Narratives in the media, kind of Pinpoint.
Jodi is the reason that things went wrong and Ruby was good until Jodi came.
But I wanted to show that like that wasn't the case and that wasn't my experience.
And it's hard to pinpoint her kid's perspective towards their father, but it seems like Chad, the son who was kicked out at 17, seems to hang around his father, at least in interviews.
What does happiness look like for you guys?
Enjoying time with my siblings, it feels a lot more free.
It's wonderful to be surrounded by my children.

Our home is a zoo.
It is a zoo.

And I'm just thinking if Ruby was here, she'd be furious, but Ruby's not.
And I don't care.
And I'm happy.
I do believe people can change, but there's got to be some accountability for him.
You know, there's no chance he had no clue what was going on.
I mean, we know he knew what was going on because he was there for the vlogs.
But again, the media has been talking about this frequently with the new Hulu show that came out earlier this year on February 27th 2025.
And the show called Devil and the Family The Fall of Ruby Frankie shows clips and videos, interviews and more about all perspectives that had happened during the whole ordeal.
And it opens up all that has happened and shows the absolutely disgusting horrors Ruby Frankie committed alongside Jodi Hildebrandt.
And honestly, the whole thing is just unbelievably disturbing, with clips shown of how she was treating them and the arrest footage playing alongside.
It's just all horrifying.
Intentionally.
This awareness of family vlogging has opened up how people include children in their media.
And we've seen things similar to this in the news before with the Daddy 05 and the horrors those children went through for entertainment.
So the fact that this is still happening really shows that something needs to change.
And it also talks about what was really going on with Jodi and Ruby and why they were so secretive about their lives.
Some people on TikTok have been insinuating a possibly private and secret romantic relationship between the two.
I am not gay.
I'm going to give Ruby the time of her life.
And I mean her own son Chad, talks about his own theories on how he thinks that his mom and Jodi could be gay.

I honestly do.
That's my personal opinion.
And also I just need to shout out Chad for being hilarious because he's making fun of his mom for like a pen face that he does.
He's just he's got a great sense of humor and I appreciate that, you know, for all the shit that he's been through.
But anyway, according to Sherry, she states that they had a weird vibe.
She mentions the fact that no one would move in with their therapist and the fact that Jodi was in her bed before she moved out.
And Sherry the oldest has her own book which involves more details about her life and the strangeness and the awfulness of Jodi and Ruby.
So what about the family now?
Well, it seems Chad is in real estate and is glowing.
He seems much happier and can laugh off all the horrible trauma.
Humor does really heal a lot of wounds in my personal experience as well but I really hope that he's doing well.
And Sherry is happily married and states that she does not want to share anything about her wedding, her husband or her children on the internet and that they deserve privacy, but privacy that she wasn't given, which is huge in her beliefs.
Let's just give a round of applause. for Sherry.
What a good, actually good mom.
And, it seems, the rest of the children Abby Julie, Russell and Eve have all undergone psychological assessments and treatment to recover from their and that they were taken into custody by the Division of Child and Family Services.
Supposedly they're all in contact with their father, Kevin, who is trying to rebuild their trust.
But currently they are in state protective custody, which is exactly what they need to be safe and away from their evil mother and questionable father.
But in the end it all boils down to an evil mother who becomes overly controlling of her children, putting it all on display for the world to see.
And I personally think as you guys know if you've watched any of my content I think it's just really bad, bad for parents to film their family like they're in a freaking like docu-series or movie.
I don't think it's good.
It's not only creepy but puts too much of their lives on display and it's not something they can consent to and sometimes it even goes to their head.
I just don't think it's ever positive in any way to make your child the the center of your content.
I think you know sharing your kid here and there it's okay.
And I think you should be able to do that.
Just be aware of what is out there.
I mean, we haven't even touched on the fact that there is just creeps in every crevice of the internet and that they are preying on the children that are posted.
So I think it's just good to know for parents out there.
If you're going to post your children, just know that there are negative effects of that or can be.
I don't have kids yet.
Y'all won't see them if I have them, tell you what, tell you that right now, you'll never see them.
Cause I can't, I just, I won't ever do this.
I won't ever do this to my kid because they deserve privacy until they're of age and they can make their own decisions.
And that is just my personal, personal thing.
But very much, especially because I am already a public facing person.
