Hey, before we start today's episode of club bubble, let's get out all of our silliness.
What kind of noise is that ivy?
It's a baby bird, all right.
Is that all your silliness?
Nope.
I'm gonna save some for later.
Welcome to GoBubble, everybody!
Are you excited to play?
Yeah!
Yeah!
We're going to have lots of fun.
What is this week's theme?
It's sports week.
I love sports.
What sports do you play, Ella?
Flag football.
Flag football?
How about you, Maddie?
What sports do you play?
Tennis.
And ivy?
Basketball and football.
Basketball and football.
What position do you play?
Ball.
You're a multi-sport athlete.
I see we've got the giggles today.
And I'm waiting.
And you play soccer.
We did not shake our sillies off.
Since you've got the sillies, why don't we go ahead and start with some sports jokes.
Who wants to hear a sports joke?
Me!
All right.
Why did the soccer ball quit the team?
Because it was fast.
I don't know.
It was tired of being kicked around.
We're going to have to edit in some laughter for that joke.
Who wants another joke?
I do.
Okay.
What do you call a pig who plays basketball?
Does anyone know?
No.
Piglet.
Great answers, but it's a ball hog.
Thank you, Ella.
I'm glad you're here.
Last one before we start today's game.
Why did the golfer bring two pairs of pants?
I do not.
I have no clue.
Because he was trying to hit the ball.
He brought two pairs of pants in case he got a hole in one.
Yeah, wouldn't want to have only one pair of pants if you got a hole in it.
But don't they really have a couple of holes because you put your feet and legs through a hole?
Well, I guess.
Sure.
Yeah.
That's a thinker.
Okay, that's more than enough jokes.
Let's start the game.
Here's Ollie with the rules.
Here are the rules of the game.
When it's the contestant's turn, they will choose a letter included in the phrase of the Bubbles game show.
Each letter is worth five points.
If you choose a letter that appears more than once in the phrase, The question will be worth as many times as that letter appears.
For example, if you choose the letter B, that question will be worth 15 points.
If the contestant wins 50 points or more, they will earn access to Club Bubble.
It's time to pop.
Thanks, Howie.
All right, everyone, let's play the Bubbles Game Show Sports Week.
Game on.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's get ready to rumble.
Maddie, pick a letter.
M. M, great choice.
Which sport uses a racket and a fuzzy yellow ball?
Pickleball?
Oh, tennis.
Tennis is correct.
I love pickleball, too, though.
Have you ever played pickleball?
Yeah.
Great job.
Five points.
Ella, it's your turn to pick a letter.
E. E. Whoa, that's a triple pepper.
Six.
Six is correct.
Great job, Ella.
I always thought a touchdown was seven points, though.
But the judges are saying six.
Why would I be confused?
Because there's extra points in football.
Really?
And who's your favorite football team?
The Bears.
Mine, too.
How do they get an extra point?
They kick the ball through the field goal.
Oh, and that's how they get the extra point, which would make it seven.
Way to go, Ella.
That's ten points.
Ivy, it's your turn.
Let me hear your best sports gripe.
You ready for the next question, Ivy?
I'll pick B. B?
That's a triple bubble.
Okay, Ivy, you ready?
What sport is played with a round black and white ball that you kick into a goal?
Soccer.
Soccer is correct.
Way to go.
Maddie, it's your turn.
H?
H. That's a double bubble.
That's a bubble bubble.
What color metal do you win for coming in first place?
Gold.
A gold medal.
Way to go.
Has anyone here ever won a gold medal?
Oh, I have a gold medal.
What'd you get it for?
Soccer.
How about you, Ella?
Any gold medals?
No.
Me either.
Whose turn is it next?
Me.
All right, Ella, pick a letter.
S. S.
A double bubble.
What sport is played on ice with sticks and a puck?
Hockey.
Nice job.
Five more points.
All right, Ivy, you're up.
I picked the letter A. A?
Great choice.
Ivy, this basketball player played for the Chicago Bulls and is often thought of as the GOAT.
Michael Jordan.
Michael Jordan.
MJ is correct.
Great job, Ivy.
Maddie, it's your turn to pick a letter.
Us, that's a double bubble.
We're going to skate to one song, one song only.
Okay, what sport uses skates on ice and involves spins and jumps?
Figure skating.
Way to go.
Figure skating is correct.
Girls, you've gotten every question right so far.
We've got one more.
It's Ella's turn.
And if you get it right, you are not only able to enter Club Bubble, but you get Club Bubble gold medals.
How's that sound?
Amazing.
The pressure is on.
Ella, pick one more letter.
O. O, our final question.
Which sport is also called table tennis?
Ping pong.
Ping pong is the correct answer.
Congratulations.
You girls have just won Club Bubble.
Yay.
Yay.
Yay.
Oh, congratulations.
What do you want to do the rest of the day?
Swim.
Eat dessert and swim.
You can swim and get donuts and go to Dunkin' Donuts and get more and more and more.
Why don't we just start off with some swimming?
See you next time.
Thanks for playing.
