What does it mean?
Top it off.
T-O-P-O-F-F.
This is a verb to top something off.
Top off my coffee.
Top it off.
It means fill up my cup completely.
Fill it to the rim.
The very top of the cup.
Completely fill it up.
It's a great phrasal verb.
To top off.
So what can you top off?
You can top off your cup.
If you have some milk, you can say to your mom, mom, would you top it off?
Mom, can you top off my milk?
Add more milk, fill it up.
You can say it about wine.
Top off my wine, please.
Top off my glass, please.
Of course, you can say it about beer.
Could you top it off?
If you're a waiter or a waitress, you could say to your customers would you like me to top off your water?
Would you like me to top it off?
It's a great expression.
And we also use it for something else.
It's very common.
It's in the conversation.

That was me yeah, when i was young, when i got my driver's license, i was 16 years old and i would ask my dad if i could use his car.
My dad's car was nice and you know, i i wanted to Drive around in a nice car.
Actually I remember the reason I wanted to drive my dad's car was because his car had a tape player, you know, a cassette tape for music.
And my car did not.
My car only had an AM radio, not even FM am radio.
It was old, my car was old, my dad had am FM, a tape player, and that's why I always wanted to use my dad's car and he never, not once, would let me use his car and I would try everything.
I would say I will wash it, I'll top it off with gas, I'll wax the car whatever, whatever I could do, I'll vacuum the car.
And No no no no, no.
Never, never, never, never, never.
Even today.
My goodness.
30 years later, my dad still won't let me drive his car.
Come on, dad.
Jeez, I'll top it off with gas.
Yeah, very common expression.
If you go to a gas station and if it's full service.
Sometimes you can find full service gas stations.
The guy will say, how much gas do you want?
And all you have to say is, top it off.
Top it off, please.
Fill it up with gas.
You can bring.
Or if you call the waiter over to your table and you have an empty beer or an empty coffee, you can say to the waiter top it off, please.
Would you top this off, please?
Don't forget to say please.
It's always best if you're asking for something to a stranger.
If it's just your mom or your brother, who needs please?
Hey, mom, top it off.

She might hit you, but anyway.
