Let's master English.
All right, E-Cube number 402, enjoy.
Let's go back in time.
Today's podcast.
It's a good one.
I like it to keep your nose clean.
You better keep your nose clean.
You had better keep your nose clean.
Are you keeping your nose clean?
Ah yes,
Inside your nose, there can be many dirty... No, no, no, no, no.
That's not what this expression means.
To keep your nose clean means stay out of trouble.
Do not do anything wrong.
If you're a kid, no drinking, no smoking, no loud music.
If you're a married person, no looking at other women no.
Looking at other men no, none of that other stuff.
Keep your nose clean.
Yeah.
Do you keep your nose clean?
Yeah, I'm 47 and I must say my life has been pretty boring, because I really do try to keep my nose clean.
Oh, of course I've made some mistakes, but in general, I'm embarrassingly clean.
Yeah, I really am.
I'm not joking.
Uh, my mom would be proud.
But what's funny is my mom thinks i'm really bad.
My mom thinks i did everything wrong in the world, but i didn't.
I don't know why my mom thinks that.
But no i, i kept my nose clean.
I have kept my nose clean.
I've lived a pretty good life, nothing too evil, Yeah.
Let's check out the dialogue.
Where's the seminar?
In Las Vegas.
That's the city of sin.
Yeah.
Keep your nose clean.
Yes.
Las Vegas.
In the United States, it is the city of entertainment.
Casinos, magic shows, singers, gambling.
Yeah, everything you can imagine.
Always sunny.
Yeah.
Las Vegas can be a very dirty town.
It's the city of sin.
Yeah, that's its nickname.
And you know what?
Many of you know that when I came back to America, I moved right next to Las Vegas.
Why?
So I could sin?
No, because my mom and dad retired out here.
They're old.
They like the hot weather.
It feels good on their bones.
But you know me.
I came here.
I was a single guy.
And I never, believe it or not, I never went to the casinos.
It's the city of sin and I didn't do anything.
All I did was stay home.
Yeah.
And still, I don't go to the casinos.
I don't go to the shows.
I don't want to.
I don't need to.
I'm too old for that stuff.
And I know some of you guys, oh, come on, Shane.
I'm 75 years old and I still love to sin.
Good.
Go ahead.
This world needs sinners, I guess.
And the world needs people like me too, people who keep their nose clean.
Oh, believe me, I'm not judging.
If you like to keep your nose dirty, we don't say that.
But if you like to do terrible things, go ahead.
Just don't hurt anybody.
You can do whatever you want.
I don't care.
But don't hurt anybody.
Yeah.
That's my philosophy.
Me, it's my choice.
I like to keep my nose clean.
I sleep better at night.
I don't have to worry about the next time.
Many things I don't have to worry about.
But what about you?
Do you like to keep your nose clean or sometimes do you like to sin a little?
Oh, by the way, sin, everybody.
S-I-N.
Yeah, you need to know that expression.
If you sin, you are not keeping your nose clean.
If you're keeping your nose clean, you are not sinning.
Okay?
That's the expression.
Enjoy it two more times.
Please practice with a friend.
