Feel the love for Demi Lovato.
Come on, pal.
Welcome back to the show.
We have so much going on to talk about.
We have to talk about the book.
We have to talk about the tour.
But we have to talk about you.
You got married.
Congratulations.
So happy for you, bud.
Last time we talked about you guys loving each other and you were talking about the details of the wedding and all this stuff.
And you had a great wedding, sounds like.
We had an amazing wedding.
He is just my whole world.
I love him so much.
He actually performed here on the show not too long ago.
I saw him.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, so... No, I didn't know.
I take everyone from your wedding.
That's how we book the show.
Everyone who goes to your wedding comes on our show.
But you actually had, I know Iris is your wedding song, right?
Or one of your songs?
Yes, it was our first dance.
It's such a special song to us.
We love it so much.
Yes.
Such a good song.
One of the best songs ever.
It really is.
But you actually got Johnny Resnick from Goo Goo Dolls to perform at your wedding.
Yes.
That's awesome.
Okay, good.
Come on.
We were so grateful to have him perform.
It was a no-brainer.
We definitely wanted that song as our first dance, and he absolutely smashed it.
The crowd was singing it.
Well, not the crowd.
The audience was singing along, and there was a sing-along moment.
It was really, really cute and sweet, and it was just amazing.
It was perfect.
And then you had a DJ that was one of our buds as well.
That's my sis, Paris Hilton.
Paris Hilton, DJing.
Come on.
Yes!
She's so iconic.
I love her so much.
And it was electric.
I wanted to ask you about this, because you got on stage with the Jonas Brothers at MetLife Stadium.
And kind of broke the Internet, by the way.
This video is at like a half a billion views or something.
Billion.
It's crazy.
It was so much fun.
We had a blast and like performing those songs was so nostalgic for me.
We had the best time and it was great to see them.
Did you get nervous going out?
I was so nervous.
I get nervous doing this.
So of course performing in front of that many people was very nerve wracking.
You crushed it.
Thank you.
It was fantastic.
I also want to talk about, let's talk about your book here.
Yes.
One plate at a time.
Love the cover.
Thank you.
I love it.
I love the feel of it.
It's a quality book.
I love a good cookbook.
Thank you.
It's part cookbook, part memoir too.
Yeah, there's definitely a lot of my personal story in there.
So I love cooking and being in the kitchen.
And that wasn't always the case for me because I'm in recovery from an eating disorder.
So food used to be really intimidating to me, to the point where I would step into a grocery store and I would break down into tears.
And since starting my culinary journey, I learned how to practice self-care by nourishing myself with the meals that I cook.
Yeah.
And find freedom with food, and I wanted to bring that same joy and freedom to my readers who are also in recovery from disordered eating, looking to take the next steps, or if you're just learning to cook for the first time and you want-.
Don't wanna be intimidated.
And you don't wanna be intimidated, this book is for you.
Yeah, it really is, it's great.
I love all the recipes.
I love cookbooks.
I actually did some cooking.
I grew some vegetables over the summer.
And I don't know if you heard about this, but I brought... Oh, I heard.
You did?
Yes.
I had a tomato that I... Or a tomato.
That I grew, and it was... Here's a photo of it.
Took me all summer to grow this.
It's so cute!
It's the cutest tomato ever.
We called it Demi-Tomato.
Yes!
I love it!
We were like, dude, we had to.
And then our guests that night were Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.
We made salsa out of your tomato.
I'm honored.
And they loved it.
It was a big hit.
I'm honored.
There's actually a salsa recipe in my cookbook.
Oh, my gosh.
Well, next time you have to use Demi Tomatoes.
They're the best for salsa, yeah.
Let's talk about your new tour, It's Not That Deep.
It kicks off next month.
What do fans expect from the tour?
Fans can expect a lot of dancing, a lot of singing songs.
Yeah, I'm dancing again.
And, well, songs that you already know, but also songs that might be new.
And so there's...
There's a little teaser for you.
What?
We have a plan to do it.
Stop yelling questions.
What song?
Which one are you going to play?
When you go on tour though, do you get inspired to?
I know a lot of bands that go on tour because they're rehearsing so much they end up writing a whole new album or new stuff.
Are you working on new stuff?
I have been in the studio and I've been working on new music and I might just play some of that at the show.
Oh, my... See?
There you go.
You manifested it, whoever yelled in the audience.
To close the show, you're performing... Yeah.
You're performing Ghost from your latest album, which is a beautiful track.
Thank you.
Thanks for doing that.
And thanks for being here.
We love you.
Demi Lovato, everybody.
Tickets to her It's Not That Deep tour are available now.
Demi and I are doing something fun after the break.
Stick around.
More Us.
Yes!
