Oh my gosh, what is that?
Nine days till Christmas.
For today's Vlogmas video.
I want to do a day in the life of an influencer, content creator, whatever you want to call it.
If you need my channel.
I've been putting my life online since I was in middle school, so I've basically grown up online.
But I absolutely love what I do.
I'm so grateful to be doing what I'm doing.
And every single day is a little bit different, but today is a pretty busy day with filming, editing events.
So i wanted to give you guys a little sneak peek, a little glimpse into what my life kind of looks like as someone that does social media.
So i started off the day pretty early.
I woke up around seven this morning to finish editing yesterday's longness video.
I've been kind of going back and forth editing the night before or the morning of it.
Honestly just depends what i have the next day and also how long the video is going to take me to edit.
But today i knew i could get it done in like less than three hours.
So i was like all right, i'm gonna get a good eight hours of sleep and then wake up and start my day very productive, and that's exactly what we did.
So i'm actually about to upload my video.
Right now i edit on final cut on my laptop and then i do my thumbnails on my ipad.
Also, if you can tell, i'm still in my pjs and i've literally just been editing in bed.
That is the glory of this side of social media getting to edit in the comfort of my own home, in my room, in my bed, wherever i want, and that is just so cool, like i'll never get over that.
So i'm gonna upload that, get my description together.
I also tag products on youtube and then it will go up in a few hours because my posting time is at an.
I also waited to start blogmas day 16 this video just because this morning i kind of looked like a zombie when i was editing.
So i was like okay, i'm just gonna wait until i wake up a little bit more and then i'll start filming.
So this was kind of the next step of my day starting today's vlogmas video.
All right, and then now i'm actually gonna hop onto a meeting call, doing a collab with youtube creators.
On instagram i'm promoting youtube shopping, so i'm actually gonna hop on a call to make sure everything is good for posting.

Yay, i love working with brands who just make it so efficient and so easy for the creators.
I mean me personally.
I never want to waste anyone's time, and so when i feel like that's reciprocated, it's like the best feeling ever.

I'm super happy with how the video turned out.
It was a super cute holiday campaign.

All right time to finally get out of bed and get ready for the the rest of the day.
I have another meeting in less than 30 minutes, so i'm gonna come and do this a little speedy, but i'm gonna film and get ready with me.
I'm doing a little video for bloom energy and i'm gonna post it on my instagram and tiktok, so i'm just gonna add it into this video while i'm getting ready.
But i've laid out my products.
I think i'm just gonna do my natural makeup routine.
I'm just gonna film this video on my phone, probably set it up right here or something, And we are gonna get ready for the day.
Boom, boom, bang.
Filming went really well.
I'm gonna go ahead and edit that and then turn that in.
And I'm also all ready for the day.
Here's some makeup, just touching my hair.
And then I just put on this jumpsuit, but I'll probably change in a little bit as well.
But let's go downstairs and take our second meeting.
Meeting time.
And guess who I'm with?
My mommy.

For those of you who don't know, she's also my manager.
Best mom and jerk ever.
She's great.
But it's really cool because we work on a lot of projects together.
She does a lot of the behind the scenes.
And so for meetings like this, a lot of the times we take it together.
Today's meeting is with Five Below.
I've actually worked with them twice already now.
And now I'm doing my third campaign with them, which is so cool.
Gonna be for something romantic.
It's your Valentine's Day.
And, fun fact, actually like a lot of videos you guys see, it was actually filmed weeks before it's posted.
For example, like my Christmas content, those campaigns were probably filmed in November or even October.
It's a process.
Yeah.
To get it from beginning to end.
A lot of approvals edits yeah, for the brand to give you briefing to get a script approved, and then revisions and then filming and then editing.
It's like a lot of back and forth.
It's so fun.
I'm so grateful for brand partnerships.
It's definitely a privilege to be able to do these, to do this work yeah, and the ones that are continued and i do multiple campaigns with.
I'm so blessed to be able to do that.
Things we value the most is continued partnerships and then that's what we thrive to keep.

These meetings remind me when school was on zoom.
I would just be in my pjs for everything because they're not needed in like business formal, you know?
Okay, crack them open, girl.
So now we're gonna discuss yeah, what she's gonna film, so then we can write it on paper and then send it to the brand for approval or any kind of edits or changes that they want while eating.

Okay everyone, great news.
We were done with computer work for the day meetings editing, brand work, all of that.
I was also doing some posting on my phone.
I try my very, very best to post on all of my different social media platforms which, by the way, you can find me everywhere at nicole they know, if you haven't already, but also you guys.
Sometimes it's very hard to keep up, like i feel like there's so many different apps now and keep this between us, but youtube is always my favorite.
But speaking of YouTube, if you guys remember from Vlogmas Day 4, when we went to the YouTube AAPI Gala, they gave us these goodie bags at the end of the gala.
But I never showed you guys what was inside.
And I saw a lot of comments being like, Nicole, give us a haul.
So I'm going to show you guys in this vlog because, as a creator, sometimes we get goodie bags for PR, which is just so freaking cool.
And that's another thing I will never get over.
But this bag in particular is super, super cool, because each product and the brands in this bag are either Asian owned or Asian creator owned.
So let me show you guys what's inside.

I actually have this one already, so i think i'm gonna give it to one of my friends as a christmas gift.

I think it's absolutely amazing and inspiring to see all these Asian-owned brands.
I also love how YouTube constantly supports their creators.
And who knows?
Maybe I can have my own brand one day as well.
But I'm so grateful for all these goodies.
And I cannot wait to try and also share it with my friends and family.
And now it is time to get ready for an event.
Canon is hosting their first cut premiere screening and awards ceremony tonight.
And I'm so excited.
As you guys know, all of my YouTube videos are filmed on Canon cameras.
I'm currently using Canon VP one love this camera so much, and i also love the canon team with my whole heart.
I can't wait to see a bunch of them tonight, as well as a bunch of other creators and videographers and photographers.
To this day, i'm still so honored to be a partner with canon and to be going to their events.
I love their events because i always sleep them feeling so inspired and just happy to be a content creator.
Canon actually booked us a hotel close to the venue because it's in hollywood, which is a little bit of a drive from my house.
So we're packing our bags right now.
I just changed into the sweat set so it can be comfy, but at the hotel i'm gonna finish getting ready and we'll look a little more Presentable for an event.
But yeah, I need all my makeup, my hair stuff.
I'm going to be wearing a dress and some heels tonight and I actually cannot wait, So let's get the show on the road, everyone.

I've actually been here before back in senior year of high school, actually for the beginner boutique prom shoot.
But i'll give you guys a quick tour.

I always say that after a canon event.
All right, you guys.
We just got back to the hotel and wow.
I'm on cloud nine.
First of all, the contest was so cool.
I don't know if you can hear me earlier, but we watched 12 contestants short films and then they picked four winners.
They each got 25k, as well as an opportunity to learn from one of the canon creators as a mentor, and i respect canon so much for doing that for aspiring creators.
All of the films were so impressive and it's just amazing being in a room full of other people who have the same love and passions as you which, speaking of all the conversations that i got to have tonight, were just so amazing and i'm so grateful, not only from the other creators, but also the team at canon, genuinely like the sweetest people, like canon makes good cameras, but they also know how to choose good people to put on their team.
And I just have the best time, as always.
It's truly like a little family.
So thank you, Canon, for putting on that event and having me.
But I wanted to show you guys the goodies that we got from tonight.

It says Canon on the front, and then it has a really cute design on the back. dad also got one and then we got one for christian as well then they had a freaking claw machine where you could win different canon goodies so there was either the canon v1 the camera that i'm filming on right now the canon l360 which i love taking photos on their selfie square print and then the freaking g7x and guys guess what i won the g7x they only had two in the claw machine and i was one of the two that got it so insane because they don't even sell these anymore so everyone was trying to get it and i can't believe i was one of them but if you know you know the g7x is so good.
And then last but not least, they made me a Hollywood star with my name on it.
Isn't that so amazing?
Like, Canon is truly just the best, and I had such a good night.

I am, of course, grateful every single day, but days like these are such a big reminder to be thankful for what I do, because it's truly just so cool, like if i if i could describe it in one word, it'd be cool, like i'm truly living out my dreams and i'm so happy and blessed to do what i do.

I actually said this on the red carpet when i was getting interviewed by tj, but one of my biggest motivators is my supporters.
