It is Monday, Monday, Monday, Papa.
Do you like Mondays?
Yeah. Most people do not like Mondays.
Actually, I enjoy them.
I like my Mondays. I get to talk with you.
I get back to work, and I do enjoy my work.
I've always liked Mondays.
Even when I was young, go to school, get to see my friends, even in the army.
Well, maybe not so much in the army, but yeah, I've generally always liked Mondays.
What about you? Okay, today's expression is very good.
It is a word, but listen to it.
Are you ready? Stick to it.
Tiveness stick to it.
Tiveness. He has very good stick to it.
Tiveness. What? Yeah, this is a great word.
Actually, it's three words combined, and then there's a suffix added to make it a noun.
The three words are stick to it, and then we add if -ness to make it a noun.
It's kind of a funny word, but it's a good word, and the meaning is really good.
Okay, so stick to it.
S -T -I -C -K. Stick to, T -O -I -T, it stick to it.
What does to stick to it means?
It's a verb, verbal phrase.
What does it mean? It means to not give up.
To not give up. To persevere.
To persevere. To be tenacious.
This is the idea of stick to, stick to it.
So if you start studying English, you need to stick to it.
Don't give up. Keep going.
Even when it's difficult, even when it's frustrating, even during vacation or after vacation, you got to get into it.
You need to stick to it.
You got to do it. Don't give up.
He has great stick to -ativeness.
Alright, so stick to it is three words, but now stick to -ativeness.
S -T -I -C -K dash to, T -O dash I -T -I -V -E -N -E -S -S.
He has great stick to -ativeness.
That means he has great perseverance, great persistence, great dedication, great stamina, great determination, great tenacity.

He keeps going and going and going and never gives up.

Oh, it's a really good quality to have.
Check out the dialogue.
Did you hear John? His English is great.
Oh, I know. How did he do it?
An American girlfriend?
No, stick to -ativeness, my friend.
Oh, I should start again, huh?
Yeah, this is the case for so many of my students.
A lot of DDM, a lot of PERF students.
They start studying with me and they stick to it.
They don't give up.
And my goodness, after a year, after two years, after three years, you wouldn't believe the difference in English ability.
They're much more comfortable speaking English, listening to English, talking in English.
It's so great. I really love it.
So whether it's learning English or learning anything, another language, another skill, another hobby, a job, being a parent.
Okay, seriously, you need to stick to it.
You need to focus. You need to never give up.
Yes, there are difficult times.
Yes, it can be frustrating.
Yes, it might seem impossible sometimes.
But don't give up. You need stick to -ativeness.
And I guarantee you, all those successful people that you see and that you wish maybe you could become, well, they have something in common.
Every successful person has stick to -ativeness.
So, me, I'm not successful yet.
I'm doing okay. I mean, I'm surviving, but I'm not successful yet.
But believe me, I'm not giving up.
No, I'll keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going.
And eventually, I believe, I hope that I'll be really successful.
