We have to say it like this.
Rusty.
Check out the dialogue.
I can't wait.
Well, don't get too excited.
Why not?
Your spaghetti is the greatest.
Yeah, but I'm a little rusty.
I haven't made it in two years.
Oh, that's so sweet.
This actually happened to me.
It wasn't spaghetti.
It was fried rice.
I got a story for you.
This is such a terrible story.
So I used to make fried rice a lot and I was good.
You know, I mean, I made my style fried rice with hamburger and it was delicious.
I absolutely loved it.
So last week I decided to make it again.
And it has been 15, 20 years since I made it.
But I was just suddenly I wanted fried rice.
But I didn't have a big frying pan.
So I used something else.
And it started to get really dry.
So I added some broth, B-R-O-T-H.
It's like chicken water, you know.
Anyway, chicken bone water.
I added some broth.
And I added too much.
So my fried rice was a fried rice soup.
And I know you can add more rice, right, in that situation.
But I didn't have any more rice, so i i had fried rice soup.
Needless to say, when it comes to making fried rice, i used to be really good, but now i'm rusty r-u-s-t-y.

But then she says, yeah, but I'm a little rusty.
R-U-S-T-Y.
I haven't made it in two years.
Do you understand what rusty means?
It means you used to be good at something, but you haven't done it in a long time.
So you're nervous and you might make a mistake and it might not be as good as it used to be.
This is Rusty.
It's an excellent adjective and we use it all the time.
And like for you and your language.
If you haven't been speaking English in a while, you're going to get rusty.
My second language is Korean.
And to be honest, I haven't spoken Korean in a long, long time.
I used to be excellent.
But now, oh, I guarantee, I'm a little rusty.
Are you rusty at anything?
