It proves the maturity of the robot's hardware, cerebellar balance, algorithms and endurance, laying a solid foundation for large-scale commercial deployment.
Equipped with dual GPS modules, LiDAR and infrared depth sensors, the A2 navigated complex scenarios such as traffic lights, narrow passages and crowded pavements, maintaining stable perception during day and night.
The robot navigated asphalt roads, tiled walkways bridges, tactile paving and ramps, all while while following traffic rules.
In an exchange with reporters upon arrival, the robot described the journey as an unforgettable experience in its machine life, humorously suggesting it might need new shoes.
In April, the Tien Kung Ultra, built by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Centre, completed a 21km half marathon in 2 hours 40 minutes.

China has launched a commercial trial of satellite images Internet of Things services to diversify the supply in the satellite communication market and support the safe and healthy development of emerging industries such as commercial aerospace and the low altitude economy.
According to the 2025 China 5G Plus Industrial Internet Conference held in Wuhan in central China's Hubei province, the commercial trial will last for two years and support eligible enterprises in conducting satellite Internet of Things services in accordance with laws and regulations.
The trial aims to diversify the supply in the satellite communication market, stimulate the vitality of market entities, enhance industry service capabilities, establish a security regulatory system and develop replicable and scalable experiences and models.
Satellite Internet of Things utilizes satellite communication technology to connect massive devices on the ground, in the oceans and in the air, providing data collection and transmission services.
Its application scenarios cover marine fisheries, transportation and logistics, energy and water resources, as well as emergency communications, the low-altitude economy and industrial internet.
