Coffee Break English, Season 4, Episode 9, Extra.
Hello and welcome to this week's Extra episode of Coffee Break English.
This week's main episode was all about New Zealand.
So you're going to listen to a conversation between Mauricio and me about the landscapes of New Zealand and films!
Have you ever been to New Zealand, Mauricio?
No, I haven't. I think the closest I've got to New Zealand is watching the Lord of the Rings movies.
Oh yes, they were filmed in New Zealand, weren't they?
Yes, they were. One of my friends went on a tour in New Zealand where he visited all of the places where the films were shot.
That sounds like my dream holiday, because I love the Lord of the Rings films.
I've never seen them, but I've seen pictures of New Zealand, so I assumed the films are beautiful.
Wait, you've never seen Lord of the Rings?
Well, I think I watched some of the second film years ago, but I found it so boring that I fell asleep.
It really wasn't my thing.
I can't believe you found it boring.
Well, I'm not really a fan of fantasy films.
I prefer watching something that could actually happen, in real life.
Does that mean you haven't seen the Harry Potter films either?
Oh no, I love the Harry Potter films.
They're the only fantasy films I like.
Okay, well, at least you've seen them, but you should try the Lord of the Rings films again.
Maybe, but I can't promise anything.
Let's listen to the conversation again, a little faster this time.
