Firecamp Wee Wowsers, it's story time.
This week, we asked you to write a 30-second sea story and share it with us.
We received so many great stories, so let's hear some of them now.
Hi, my name is Liam.
I was in Colorado, and here's my short story.
Once upon a time there was a Hawaiian bobtail squid named Lucy to the bottom of the ocean to collect seashells.
One day, she forgot to go to collect seashells.
Because of that, she got very mad.
Because of that, she kept forgetting to get seashells until finally everything got back to normal.
The end.
Oh, that's good.
Wow.
Hi, my name is Coco and I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Once upon a time, there was a mermaid named Celia.
Celia was fascinated by the wild cats of the above world.
Hoping that her wish was answered, she wished to become a wild cat.
When the genie heard her wishes, they granted her the ability to shift in and out of her cat and mermaid form.
When Celia's wish was answered, she became a tiger.
Because Celia was able to turn into a mermaid, she was not afraid of water like some other cats are.
This is why Tigers are not afraid of water.
Oh, that's incredible.
Hi, my name is Dan.
I live in Arlington, Virginia.
And my story for Camp Wee Wow is once upon a time, Amazing.
Hi, my name is Amelie and I live in Italy.
My story is called The Shark and Shrimp Who Learned.
Once upon a time, there was a shark named Gary.
He was always feared by all the other sea life, even Bob the beluga whale.
But sometimes birds were scared too.
I don't mean you, Reggie.
One day he was swimming near a sunken ship when out of nowhere a shrimp appeared.
The shrimp offered to clean his mouth, which was a good thing too.
His mouth needed cleaning.
The shark named Gary said, yes.
The shrimp told the shark a little bit about himself.
And what was most interesting to the shark was that he was always judged by his size.
I should also mention that a crowd had formed by now.
And everyone was so surprised to see Ray, the shrimp's name, helping Gary.
This helped the sea life understand two things.
One, just because you are small doesn't mean you can't handle something.
Two, if Gary didn't eat Ray, that meant he was super nice.
The crowd cheered, and Gary and Ray became best friends.
And they lived happily ever after.
The end.
That was my story called The Shark and Shrimp Who Learned.
Wow, we might need to take another submarine trip, Guy Raz.
Let's go right now.
Wait, Mindy, my s'mores, my s'mores.
Hey, everybody.
This is Grandma G-Force, and I'm going to teach you some synchronized swimming.
You can follow along in the water or on land if you don't got any flippers.
Ahem.
Just lay on your back, then do a scissor kick like this.
Or you can do a safety scissor kick if a regular scissor kick is too pointy.
Now stand up.
Reach your arms over your head like me back in my ballerina days.
I was so graceful.
Now sway to the left and sway to the right.
Now twirl.
Twirl again.
Just keep twirling.
Okay, I'm a little dizzy.
That's enough for today.
Bye.
