I'm a Fluency and Pronunciation Coach. And for those of you who are familiar with my work, you know that I mostly focused on pronunciation in my teaching, but I incorporated a lot with practical strategies to practice like shadowing and also a lot of mindset because I think that no breakthrough is possible without mindset work, without internal work.

When I... Like I would always be like, okay, well, why do they single me out?
Why do they always ask me about it?
What's wrong with how I sound?
And it took me some time to realize that there was nothing wrong.
They were just trying to make conversation.
But for me, like, it really hit me hard in a place of insecurity because I wasn't confident in my English.
And when I studied acting, when I was 23, that was, we had speech training there.
And I've learned all the sounds of English, and I really mastered American English and different dialects of English, and it completely transformed how I experienced English.
And the confidence I had in communicating, it wasn't just about the pronunciation, even though it has improved significantly, and this is what I teach you now, but it also changed the way I perceive English, how I use my voice, how I express myself, and it skyrocketed my fluency as well.
And that's why I decided to take what I've learned and package it and start teaching it to other people.
And throughout the years, I've learned from the experience of my own students and with the changing world and the internet and social media and online content and AI, like all of those things really changed the way I teach and the way I coach and I've done a lot of personal development work, and I got a certification in life coaching, so I'm a certified life coach because I realized that I wanted to do that deep work in all of that, all my experience as an actress, as a teacher, as a student, as a life coach, I wanted to take all of that and turn it into a very holistic experience for my students
because I knew that just pronunciation doesn't work.
Just learning language the traditional way, grammar, vocabulary doesn't work.
Cause they used to do all of that.
And only when you package together and you put all the different ingredients together, you are able to have a real holistic experience and a real breakthrough.

Is there a difference between pronunciation and accuracy?
These are two different things, really.
So, accuracy is pronunciation, but it's not going to give you feedback.
So if you're asking about feedback, pronunciation, if you mispronounce a word, then your pronunciation is not accurate.
But sometimes the feedback that you'll get, okay, you said sheep instead of ship, right?
That's feedback on your pronunciation, but it's more about accuracy because the word was not accurate in the context that you use, how it was detected.
When I think of feedback on pronunciation feedback, I think, okay, you have to raise your tongue a little bit, pull the lips to the sides.
The sound needs to be longer.
This is more of a pronunciation feedback, so it's not just, no, this was not accurate, try differently, but this was not accurate.
Here is the reason and here's what you need to do differently when you pronounce how you you need to position your lips, your jaw, your tongue and all of your articulation organs.
This is the feedback I give when people join a hot seat with me.
And this is how I teach you to catch your own challenges and catch your own mispronunciations in every single lesson.
So I actually guide you on how to give yourself feedback, which is an incredible tool.
So you're never dependent on other people to succeed.
