Hello! You are listening to my first podcast, a magical world of your daily sounds made just for you.
I'm Lucy. How are you today?
In my first podcast we listen to all the sounds we can find around us.
There are so many sounds that we hear every day.
Wizzes, pops, toots, clangs, hums, buzzing, and bumps.
Soft ones and loud ones.
Big sounds and small sounds.
Long sounds, and short ones.
Ticling in your ear sounds and booming far too noisy sounds.
Each day is filled with sound, and of course we can make sounds ourselves too.
Did you hear that? I can stick out my tongue and blow and that makes a sound.
it's called blowing a raspberry can you make a sound too maybe your grown -up can help that sounds amazing it's time for our sound adventure today we are joining baby Tom his dad is Tom his bedtime bath.
It has lovely warm water with lots of bubbles.
So many bubbles you can pop.
Let's listen to Tom having his bath.
Oh It sounds like Baby Tom is having a lovely time in his bath.
Let's listen again and see if we can name the bath sounds.
It's evening in Tom's house.
The sun outside is slowly fading and it's getting a little darker.
That's Tom. The bath tap turns and the water comes out of the tap and runs into the bath.
Slowly, the bath fills with nice warm water, not too hot and not too cold.
Soap goes into the water, squeeze.
Tom's Dad is splashing the water to make soapy bubbles, lots of bubbles for Tom to play The bath has filled up with enough water, so it's time for Tom's dad to turn off the tap.
Tom's dad checks the water is just the right temperature, not too hot, and not too cold, so now it's safe for Tom to play in the bath.
Bath toys, squeaky ones.
Tom really enjoys having his Bath.
Thanks Tom for sharing your Bath sounds with us today.
Having a Bath sounds like a lot of fun and there are so many sounds that go with having a bath.
Did you listen to all the sounds?
Let's listen again to a bath sound.
Can you tell me what this sound is?
It's the sound of the tap.
We open the tap to let the water run free in the bath.
How about the next sound?
Do you know what it is?
The water fills the bar.
Don't forget to turn it off.
We don't want too much water in So now, let's think about everything we've heard and sing a song together.
Shhh, and splash We play in the tub and we have a wash Add benches together, have just begun Together having both of them fun Splash around and play with your toys It's fun to squeal and make lots of noise Rubber duckies go quack, quack Swirling the water forward and back And always remember to turn off the tap When we're having both time fun What fun we had listening to all the sounds that go with having a bath.
I am sure Tom's ready for a lovely sleep in his cozy bed.
Please make sure you never create bath sounds or make your own bath without asking your grown -ups for permission and help.
Thanks for joining me on our Sound Journey today.
