Hey, Cody.
Wanna hear a story?
Yes, I do.
Can I please help tell it, too?
Yes, listen close.
Let's imagine and rhyme.
It's Cocomelon Storytime!
Go, go, go!
Go, go!
Uh, Cody?
Who are we cheering for?
That ant!
It's carrying a big leaf.
Whoa!
That leaf is ginormous!
You know, Ants may be teeny tiny, but they're very strong.
They are?
Yep.
One ant can lift something that weighs more than 10 ants put together.
Wow, that is strong.
It reminds me of a story called The Ant on the Bus Goes Toot, Toot, Toot.
There once was a little ant named Louie Antstrong.
Louie was an amazing trumpet player.
Yeah.
Louie was on his way to the top of the great big hill to play his trumpet in the ant parade.
Ant parade?
Yep.
You know, where the ants go marching two by two.
Hoorah!
Hoorah!
That's the one.
But Louie was running late and the hill was so high.
There was no way he was going to get there on time.
But lucky for him, Along came a bus.
I knew it.
This bus will get me to the top of the hill in no time, said the ant.
He got on the bus and while they drove up the hill, Louie played his trumpet for all the passengers.
It was just a little trumpet, but it made a big sound and they all sang.
The wheels on the bus go round and round all through the town.
Toot toot toota toota, toot.
The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep all through the town.
Toot, toot, toota, toota, toot.
The wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish all through the town.
Toot, toot, toota, toot.
But then Louie heard a sound he'd never heard before.
Hiss.
Is there a snake?
He wondered, looking around.
But there were no snakes!
So, what was that noise?
Suddenly, the wheels on the bus stopped going round and round.
Oh, no!
That's exactly what Louie said.
Oh, no!
Oh, no!
The bus can't stop!
It's gotta get us to the top!
Louie looked out the window and saw the bus had a flat tire.
What am I gonna do?
I gotta get to that parade.
The other ants can't march without my trumpet keeping a toot-toot steady beat.
Luckily, the bus driver had an idea.
Listen up, everybody.
We're almost to the top of the hill.
If some of you's big animals get out and push the bus, maybe we can make it the rest of the way up.
So off went the elephant.
The bear and the lion war.
All those big animals pushed and pushed but the bus didn't move.
Louie the ant was getting really worried.
Oh, we're not moving still, i need to get up this hill.
Louie has to help.
Ants are very strong.
Yes, that's exactly what louie thought, so he told the bus driver I can help push the bus too.
Little teeny tiny you?
But you're so small and the bus is so big.
Everyone can make a difference no matter how small they are.
I know I'm strong.
Louie the ant marched off the bus and joined the other animals.
Ready for a big push?
One, two. the bus move?
It did not.
What?
Louie was disappointed too.
He picked up his trumpet and played a long, sad toot.
It was so loud, it nearly knocked Louie over.
Whoa!
And that reminded the little ant of what he just told the bus driver.
Even something small, like his trumpet, could make a big difference.
Louie shouted, Let's all push again.
And this time, I'll blow my trumpet as hard as I can.
One, two, three, push!
And that teeny tiny trumpet, played by that eensy weensy little ant, made a noise so big, whoosh!
The bus started to move.
And once it got rolling, the wheels on the bus went round and round.
All the way to the top of the hill.
Yay, I knew they could do it.
Louie said to the bus driver See me and my trumpet may be teeny and tiny, but we made all the difference.
When the parade started, the ants went marching, following behind Louie and Strong as he blew his trumpet.
Toot-a-toot-toot, toot-a-toot-toot, toot-a-toot-toot.
And all his friends from the bus cheered him on.
Yay, go Louie.
Toot-toot-toot-a-toot.
The end.
We heard a story.
Yes, it's true.
And I helped tell it too.
We listened, imagined, and made some rhymes For Cocomelon Storytime!
