To hone means to improve, to perfect, to make something better.
This is the idea. So what do we hone?
We hone our skills.
That's the idea. So what are you guys doing right now by listening to this podcast. You are honing your listening skills.
Now, if you repeat after me, then you are honing your pronunciation skills.
If you try to mimic the way I am speaking, you are honing your intonation, hallucination skills and maybe even your pronunciation skills Which is a good thing.
It's possible to do all of that with this podcast to hone and We almost always say to hone a certain skill.

No. That's not a good way to start the speech. This guy needs to work on his communication skills.
He needs to improve his communication skills.
He needs to hone his communication skills So what about you?
Yes, I know English.
You are honing you are honing your English skills But what about something else?
Is there something else some other skill that you are trying to?
me I'm trying to hone my business skills.
I'll be honest you guys, when it comes to business, I'm terrible.
I'm okay at making classes and producing lessons, but marketing and advertising and, ah, I'm just horrible, I'm horrible.
I'm also working at honing my editing skills.
