Your, Y-O-U-R. Poison, P-O-I-S-O-N, poison.
Poison? Poison is bad for you, right? Yeah, poison is not good.
Snakes have poison, many chemicals. have poison, pick... your poison pick to pick to pick means to select Or to choose.
So pick your poison means choose. You're poison.
But why? Why would anybody want to choose poison?
Poison. Nobody would want to choose poison.
Well, yes, actually, people do like poison.
Not all poison is bad. Some poison refers to chocolate. or ice cream.
Sometimes poison refers to whiskey. or beer.
Pick your poison means Choose the food or the drink. that you want to have.
And usually, Is it usually or always? This food or drink is actually... not very good for you.
So you have to think of something with lots and lots of calories or something really really sweet or something with alcohol.
So if I were a bartender and I said, pick your poison.
That means choose your drink. What kind of a drink do you want?
And you could say, I'll have milk. And that would actually be funny.
But most people would choose sex. some sort of alcoholic drink.
If you came to my house, I might go to the freezer and say, pick your poison.
And that would mean choose what kind of ice cream you want.
I have many types of ice cream in my refrigerator, in my freezer.
Right now, these days, my favorite ice cream...
Ice cream sandwiches. These days, my poison... is ice cream sandwiches.
Our ice cream sandwiches. Oh, I love them.
They're so delicious. When it comes to alcohol, I don't drink very much, but...
If I have to pick a poison, then I'm going to choose a beer.
Let's check out a dialogue. Oh, these all look good.
Pick your poison. I'll have the peanut butter cookie.
Good. I want the triple chocolate. Oh yes.
If you go to a delicious cookie store. They have so many fantastic cookies.
Pick your poison. Which one are you going to have?
Choose your favorite cookie. Ah, sounds delicious.
Same thing at a bakery where they have all those delicious baked cookies.
Donuts and pastries. The ice cream section at the supermarket.
Yeah. Oh yeah. Pick your poison. What's your favorite poison?
What's your favorite high calorie food? Is it french fries?
Maybe your poison is a greasy hamburger.
Or a Thick, cheesy pizza. Mmm. Yeah. All right.
Let's check out the dialogue two more times.
