According to French newspaper Le Monde, a routine jog by a French sailor ended up revealing the exact location of France's one and only nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.
Arthur, an officer aboard the Charles de Gaulle, used a fitness app to log a four-mile run on the ship's deck.
Because his account was set to public.
The uploaded data exposed the vessel's real-time position in the eastern Mediterranean.
And it wasn't a one-off.
Arthur jogged a lot, enough to map the carrier's route across multiple months.
With his workouts, placing the ship off the coast of France in February, Copenhagen later that same month and northwest of Cyprus by mid-March.
France's armed forces confirmed the leak and said it's addressing it.
The U.S. banned fitness apps and wearable tracking devices in 2018 for this exact reason.
For the first time in nearly 20 years, a British royal will make an official state visit to the U.S.
According to Newsweek, King Charles is due to arrive in late April for a formal dinner at the White House, an address to a joint session of Congress and a stop at the 9-11 memorial in New York City.
The last state visit by a member of the royal family was by Charles' late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in 2007.
The owners of splashy style magazine Vogue have a bone to pick with a tiny dog-centric publication called Doge.
As its name suggests, Doge is an homage to Fido fashion, namely canines, well-coiffed and well-dressed.
It's free online and sells fewer than 100 copies an issue from a single newsstand in Beverly Hills.
According to the New York Times and a recently filed lawsuit, Condé Nast, which owns Vogue, takes issue with Doge's play on words.
Saying it infringes on its trademark is meant to confuse readers and is a blow to its reputation.
Doge lawyer David Mackman disagrees.
My Client's Magazine is a parody that features humorous pictures of dogs, while Vogue is a fashion magazine that features serious photographs of human models.
I don't think anyone would have difficulty recognizing the difference.
Since neither side is rolling over, it'll be up to the courts to decide.
